I saw the sun...

Way of the Text: I tend to type in dotted formation. Usually real time expression. Meaning if you see the "..." that usually signifies that someone is pausing for about 3 seconds before they continue. At times it becomes habit and even happens in my regular text...see :D but Overall it should be fine for you all to manage reading through. Hopefully.

Chapter 1: I saw the sun...

Setting: Remy is having a hard time copping without Rogue and having to wonder the mansion on his now blinded path. Can he find a little solis in an old friend? M/M

The sun was just setting though he wouldn't know from standby...he could however feel the soft glow of the setting star resting against his now bare chest...he figured if he couldn't see it...at least someone else could...lacking of what was left of his strength...he sat down on one of the many stairs...how the hell was he going to do this...I mean he was blind for pities sake...meh...pity...a word that didn't settle well in the Cajun's heart. He hated the word with a passion and distanced himself from everyone since the accident. He didn't want anyone showing him any special treatment...well none more than he normally got...and to make things worse in his current feel his charm was emitting from him like a cool breeze on a hot afternoon...he had people longing for him and he didn't know it...perhaps it was just pity...or something else...but he could have sworn that Bobby's taken an extra liking to him all of a sudden. Still he sat waiting for that final dim feel to leave his body...either that or the sound of the setting crickets doing their night song. All of a sudden he heard footsteps...they weren't soft and clicky...more liked padded and firm...from that he knew it was a girl...even more when the stepping stopped and a rich aftershave could be smelled...though it would be hard to mask over Remy's natural musk...

Remy- ...Eh cher...what brings you out here dis late?

Bobby was shocked at how Gambit knew it was him...and before he even said anything...he just sighed and sad down next to him...

Bobby- It's not late Remy...the sun hasn't even fully set...

Remy- Oui...but y' ain't normally outtah the mansion dis time...somet'ing yah headin' for? Or...somet'ing else?

Bobby- I just wanted to...*he stopped...if he continued he knew he only distance Remy...he quickly thought of a BS reason*...to....to see the sunset...yeah...

Remy- *couldn't help but chuckle* Is that so...? Well dere it is...how's it look?

Bobby had his gaze over Remy the whole time...he was partly in wonder and partly in tranquil nature...he had a calming feel all of a sudden one that was foreign to him...a warm...comforting feel that filtered his body...this was definitely something new...what the hell was he thinking?

Bobby- N--no...I...the sun...just came to see the sun...

Remy- *nodded a bit before replying* You know cher...I haven't seen this much of you since who knows when...

Bobby- Don't joke like that Remy...and besides...I hardly could spend time with you...you being off to California with Rogue and all...I mean--*he stopped again and sighed he knew Remy knew the rest so there was no point in saying*

Remy- Y' were say'ng cher?

Bobby- *gave a blank stare....then again...maybe he didn't* Time never presented itself...

Remy- Oh...I never knew y' wanted.....time.

Bobby- I don't...I mean...I do...I mean...*sighs* nevermind...

Remy- What?

Bobby- I said nevermind...

Remy- And ah said wha?

Bobby- *sighs and shuffles his feet* You are really pigheaded...

Remy- That's what ah've been told...

Bobby- Of course I wanted time Remy...but I don't wanna be the third wheel...

Remy- Y're not a third wheel cher...y're ah stubborn wheel...Y' can be the spare...

Bobby- Haha...very funny...

Remy- Ah found it funny at least...

Bobby- Remy *his eyes turned back to the setting sun...he knew Remy couldn't see...but still* Have you ever felt...empty...inside?

Remy- Empty?

Bobby- Yeah...like...something’s missing...

Remy- Mebbe...

Bobby- Maybe?

Remy- Well oui cher...wha' yah want me tah say?

Bobby- The truth...whatever's on your mind...I don't know...

Remy- .........All dah time cher....all dah time.

Bobby- .........

It was silent until the sun finally set...Bobby didn't know how to come back from the actual answer...and Remy wasn't about to make any more of his feelings present at that time...

Remy- It's late...Ah should head in...

Bobby- No! I mean...--

Remy- Wanna walk me back cher?

Bobby- *nods* Yes please...

Remy- *smiles* Bobby don't say dat evah again...*he gets up and they both walk inside*
