Inner Conflicts -- Part 9
Inner Conflicts
Part 9
The bell rang and hundreds of students poured out into the halls, racing
to their rides, cars, and buses.
Kurt took a deep breath as he prepared to go to the library where Lance surely
awaited him.
A soft cough caught his attention.
Mr. Cury stbehibehind him. "Aw, good. I didn't miss you," he said,
holding a small stack of papers. "Mr. Alvers has called in sick today.
Seems he caught a bad cold."
"That's too bad," said Kurt, feeling immensely relieved.
"I figured since you have been an excellent tutor, for his grades are improving,
you could be a great friend and take these to him. They're his assignments
for today."
"Uh, sure Mr. Cury." Kurt took the papers from the teacher's hands.
He would have rather risked being alone in the library.

Scott gave Kurt a weird look. "You want me to drop you off here?" he asked.
"Ja," responded Kurt, getting out of Scott's convertible. "I'll
call if I need a lift back."
"Okay," said Scott. "I'll see you later."
Kurt walked down the sidewalk, being careful not to look back at Scott. As
soon his fellow mutant disappeared from sight, Kurt ported to his true
destination.
Less than half a mile away was the Brotherhood's home.

Lance checked over his kitchen to make sure that at least a couple of glasses
where clean. He used a wet rag to wipe away some white powder from
the counters, and threw away any bits of trash. Heading to the fridge,
he made sure the freshest carton of milk was up front.
And last, but not least, he stashed his secret ingredient all the way in
the back of the cupboard.
He smiled to himself as he eyed the plate of cookies on the counter. They
should be cool enough for now. He pulled them out and set them on a
dish.
He smirked as he thought about his special ingredient in them. He just
had to make sure he threw the rest of them away if Blue boy didn't eat them
all. Or he could give them to Freddy. With his body weight, he
wouldn't be affected at all.
He looked at his clock. If his timing was right, and Kurt's sense of
duty didn't fail him, not to mention his potentially growing curiosity, he
should be there any moment.
A soft knock cued him.
Lance quickly mussed his hair and then patted it down. He tightened
the robe he wore around him and shuffled to the door, a tissue in his hand.
"Hello?" he called out in a stuffy voice.
Kurt stepped back. "You look awful!" he said, tactlessly.
Lance managed to hide his smirk. At least Blue boy was honest.
"Hey, Kurt. I didn't expect you to come by here," he said, in a stuffed
up voice.
"I vouldn't have, if Herr Cury hadn't given me your homevork assignment."
Kurt's expression was sullen, and Lance didn't doubt that Kurt would
have gone home instead if it weren't for the homework assignments.
Lance stepped out of the way, holding the door open so that the German mutant
could step in.
"Dere's room in the kitchen," he said, knowing that Kurt would probably relax
in neutral territory.
Kurt made his way into the kitchen and paused. He took a deep breath
and carefully made his way to the table. He was almost positive the
floor would give out from underneath him.
"I've also got cookies and milk if you're hungry."
Kurt looked over his shoulder, a suspicious look on his face.
"What?"
"You suddenly sounded better," said Kurt.
"Oh," responded Lance. "My nose clears up and then stubs ub again at random.
. . see? Dere it goes again."
Kurt narrowed his eyes before moving towards the table.
As he set the books down, Lance filled up two cups of milk. He set
one glass in front of Kurt and placed the cookies in the center of the table.
Then he settled into a chair.
Kurt looked at the Biology book. "How did you end vith two science
classes?"
"I failed Biology last year. You?"
"I chose Chemistry as an elective. That vay I can take Advanced Chemistry
next year."
"So the self proclaimed party animal does have brains," said Lance with a
smirk.
//Apparently not, if I'm still here,// thought Kurt.
Kurt flipped to the pages that Cury's notes specified.
As he began to outline the chapter, Kurt grabbed one of the cookies and began
to nibble on it, tasting it.
It was good.
Lance grabbed one and nibbled on it as well. "Tabby made these," he
lied. "I already ate about six of them. I shouldn't eat any more."
Kurt just nodded and practically shoved the rest of the cookie into his mouth.
Tabitha was safe. He just had to remember to tell her the cookies
were great.
As he began to walk through the chapter of Miosis and Mitosis, he began to
relax a bit. For once, Lance was keeping his distance, thanks to the
cold he had. And since the cookies were incredible sweet, his stomach
started craving for more. Without thinking, Kurt began to snag a few
more, downing them with milk.
Lance watched from the corner of his eye, a victorious glint in his eyes.
Half an hour later, Kurt began to slow down, looking a bit troubled.
"What's wrong?" asked Lance, his voice filled with concern.
"I don't know," responded Kurt. "I feel. . . weird. . ."
"Do you need to lie down?"
"Maybe . . ."
"I can take you upstairs. . . to my room."
Lance peered into Kurt's eyes. He could see that his addition to the
cookies were taking effect, but Kurt's resolve was also firm, and suspicion
was still stronger than lust.
"I . . . suppose. . ." Kurt responded, his voice unsure.
Lance stiffled a grin. "This way," he said, gently placing his hand
on Kurt's back to lead him upstairs.
Kurt gasped and jerked away, whirling around to face the taller mutant.
His breathing was suddenly rushed, and his expression was one of confusion
and fear. "Vhat did you do to me?"
"Nothing," responded Lance, playing off innocently.
Kurt trembled where he stood. //What was that?// he asked himself.
His nerves suddenly felt like they were on fire. And the way
Lance touched him sent a shock that coursed through his body, causing a strange
sensation between his legs. It felt . . . good. . . but scary. And.
. . he wanted more. . . but didn't.
Lance advanced forward.
Kurt's confusion was his only opportunity.
He slowly reached out and touched Kurt's face, feeling the fur underneath
the hologram.
Kurt tensed up and stared at him, rooted in his place.
Lance stepped closer, his other hand trailing down Kurt's arm until it reached
the watch. He clicked on a button, and the image faded away.
Kurt stared down at his three fingered hand, his eyes taking one of a dazed
look.
"I like seeing you like this," murmured Lance, caressing Kurt's cheek.
Kurt shuddered as he closed his eyes, suddenly finding himself lost in the
feeling.
The gentle hand on his fur soothed the burning sensation.
A soft moan escaped his lips, his knees feeling weak.
Lance watched Kurt for a moment, his eyes cold and calculating, figuring
out just how much time he had before it started leaving Kurt's system. He
became a bit more bold as he pulled Kurt into an embrace, nuzzling his neck.
Kurt's eyes fluttered open and his eyebrows furrowed at the strange sensation.
Then his eyes closed again as he felt a hand dipping low on his back,
and he could feel the body in front of him pushing forward.
A moment later, he felt his back being pressed into something soft. Warmth
covered his front and everything felt tingly. Questing hands touched
his arms, chest, thighs. Something firmed rocked against him.
The sensations were so good.
Lance grinned as he continued to rock his hips against the blue mutants.
Kurt was reacting wonderfully. His hands slid up under the Blue
boy's shirt, and he watched as Kurt writhes and moaned, lost in the sensations
that were surely amplified.
He gently kissed Kurt's lips, then began to nip at his throat.
He shuddered as Kurt's tail slowly began to wind around one of his legs.
With fingers trembling in anticipation, Lance began to pick at Kurt's pant's
button.
Two strong hands latched onto his wrists.
"Nein," he heard.
//Shit,// he thought, looking into Kurt's eyes.
He could see that Kurt was fighting off the lust that had been building inside
him.
//Not good. Got to ease up.//
"Sorry, sorry," he murmured. "Too fast. I know. We'll
take it slow."
Kurt struggled to sit up, his breathing still heavy. "I. .. I should
go now," he said, his voice cracking on the last word.
Lance gave him a gentle smile. "Of course," he said. "I should
be back in school tomorrow. So. . . I'll see you then."
Kurt nodded before slowly heading into the kitchen.
Lance leaned back in the couch that had served him in his make-out session.
as gas going to have some fond memories by the end of the week.

Kurt slowly gathered his books.
Just what the hell was he thinking? He didn't want Lance like that.
. . he couldn't!
He felt his heart start beating faster, and he knew he was heading towards
a full on panic attack.
He shoved the remaining papers into his bag and practically bolted for the
door.
He paused long enough to glance back at Alvers, who looked like he had fallen
asleep on the couch.
He shut the door, ran down the steps, and a split second later, ported away.
Inside the house, Lance opened his eyes, smirked, and then settled down for
a nap.
