*sighs* The only bad thing about reading this is that I swear I'll never be able to find another story in the X-Men section that's this good. Damn it. I've never seen the abusive relationship portrayed in slash fanfiction--portrayed well, that is. The transition was so gradual that I almost missed it, but when I finally did catch it, I was amazed at how clever Lance's manipulation of Kurt was, no matter how horrible it was to the characters. Tabitha's part was played exquisitely...I loved her.

Something else I was impressed with was how you made me upset that Kurt was falling in love with Lance. Or, being manipulated to. The minute he said, with shock on his face, "I love you, too," I was so angry. But I kept on reading. And you had my writer self squealing in happiness that Kurt realized he was only being played with. I felt awful for him, sure, but you don't understand--he DIDN'T REALLY fall in love with Lance. It works so well I could cry. So...yes. This was incredible. Good stuff.

I was worried about this story near the beginning. I was worried it would be one of those stories where the rape victim falls in love with their rapist and they live happily ever after. I hate those stories because they are just absurd and they make light of the trauma a rape victim goes through. But I read it anyways because I trusted the person who recc'd it and I figured out pretty quickly that that's where you weren't going with it. And you didn't disappoint at all. It was a very well-written, well thought out story and I am definitely going to be saving it to read again and again. And I've actually got an interest now it Xmen Evolution stories that I didn't have before. So yay, I'm glad I read your story, it was so worth the time it took.

This was a great fic... so angsty and sweet at the same time. The only problems I see are the problems that come with uploading fics from Microsoft works... I suggest copying and pasting instead... they come out much better when you do that without the little errors.

What?! Kurt and Lance don't end up together?! Aww...-_- I want them to stay together! oh! How bout you make another story and this time Kurt and Lance do stay together! (Just to tell you I almost completely gave up that you were going to finish this story) Please! I want to see Lance and Kurt end up together! Please!

Wonderfully written, though your last chapter is a little un-orthodox...

Just finished reading it... You really made Lance a total psycho/rapist/lunatic/machoist, and you gave Kurt a differnent personality tha in the cartoon ( I dont think he was ever the polite and smart kind of guy ) and no offense, but your last chapter's lemon was a little un-called for.. maybe you should not have written it at all. ( theough the last few sentences were inspiring and poetic! ) All in all this story had drama, suspense, secrets, angst ( plenty of it ^_^ ), alliances, friends working with foes and this is one story I will never forget!

Wow... I think this is one of the best works in all of AdultFanFiction.net, although Lance and Kurt are a little OOC. But still a great read!!

Oh my! This was just so good! You are an exceptionally skilled writer. And Lance finaly got what he deserved and I only wish that Kurt could have had the satisfaction of killing the bastard himself, but thgaingain there aorseorse things than death. Well anyway, great job!
