Part 20

Inner Conflicts -- Part 20 Inner Conflicts Part 20 Lance locked the door to his room.  The others should be arriving from the carnival, and the last thing he needed was for them to come barging in unannounced and catching Kurt on his bed. He made his way to the sleeping mutant and grinned lecherously.   Kurt was still flushed, and his chest still visibly moved up and down as he took in deep breathes.  And the tip of his tail twitched between his legs that were still draped off over the edge. With the little bit of remaining strength he had left, Lance lifted Kurt onto the bed and pulled the covers over him.  He joined Kurt and embraced him from behind. Then he went to sleep. X Warmth. That was the first thing he was aware of. Soreness. That was the second. Kurt groaned as he slowly opened his eyes. He was not in his room. And someone was holding hiom bom behind. Kurt's eyes widened as he suddenly remembered what he had just done.  He and Lance had. . . had . . . slept together! And that was who's arm was around his waist at the moment.   And who's breathing was ruffling the fur at his neck. There were also sounds coming from downstairs. Scheize, the rest of the Brotherhood are here! What do I do? He heard Lance moan, and he became tense, clutching the bed sheet underneath him.  His heartbeat quickened when he felt Lance rolling on top of him. "You awake?" he heard Lance ask in a husky voice. Kurt turned his head to look up at him. X Kurt was scared.   That much he could tell. Lance kept his peaceful look on his face, pretending that he didn't realize just what Kurt's emotions were. Instead, he gave the boy a gentle kiss on the corner of his mouth, and skimmed his hands over Kurt's chest and stomach, earning a sharp gasp from the mutant. And an instant boner. Kurt's cheeks were dark. So now the boy was embarrassed. This was kind of fun. Maybe Kurt never realized that little Kurt would always have a mind of his own. Lance reached down to take Kurt's member and slowly began to stoke it. Kurt let out another gasp and a moan as his head jerked back, exposing his neck. Lance began to nibble it, relishing the way Kurt began to squirm under his administrations. Yeah, he wasn't ashamed to admit it. Guys pretty much were led by their dicks.  Kurt would be no different. Whatever reservations he had about this relationship would be deterred by the way Lance handled him.   Which is why he was surprised when Kurt bolted out of his bed. "Um, no," he said, panting.  "I-it's late.  I-i-i really need to go." "Okay," Lance said.  "Let me get my clothes on and I'll drive you baome.ome." "Nein," replied Kurt, quickly throwing on his clothes, his back towards Lance.  "I c-can go by myself." "If you say so," said Lance, coming up behind the mutant.  He caught Kurt around the waist and nuzzled the back Kurt's neck. Kurt froze, then continued to button up his shirt, swallowing audibly. Lance turned him around and "helped" him button his pants. Kurt was trembling. Lance ran a hand down Kurt's face, then caught his chin and lifted up his head so that pale eyes looked into dark ones. "I love you," Lance whispered, running his thumb over Kurt's lips. Kurt resembled the proverbial deer in the headlights. "I'm so glad you let me love you," Lance continued.  "And trust me, I'd rather be doing more fun stuff with you than saying good-bye, but... you're right.  You do have to go.  Otherwise Summers will probably kill me for keeping you this late.  Night." Kurt nodded and stepped away.  He flipped on his hologram. . . then disappeared with a BAMF. Lance smirked. X Kurt stood outside of the Institute's gates.  He was tired from the numerous portings, but the fear of confronting the mutants inside kept him from just going in. Part of him knew that he was being unreasonable.  After all, Professor X and Jean wouldn't read his mind without permission.  So the others won't know what happened. Therefore he can safely pretend that nof iof it ever happened. It would be a secret. Tomorrow he would find Lance and apologize for letting him believe that he...well...loved him enough to have sex with him. Then... everything would go back to normal. Unless... unless Lance took it really badly. You made me the happiest person, love. That was what he had said. I can't get enough of you. Gods, he was really in this deep. Kurt fought back the tears in his eyes. Despite Lance's professions of love, he still felt. . . ashamed. . . dirty.  More than the attack.  At least in that one, he had no defense.  But now?  He practically egged Lance on to kiss him. .  .touch him. Kurt took in a deep breath. The lights at the institute were still on. . . meaning that they were probably waiting for him. Well, he could always tell them that he lost track of time.  That he and Lance rented some movies and watched them non-stop.  Sod red reasonable.  And believable.  What movies did they watch?  All of StarWars, episodes one, four, five, and six.  Or Planet of the Apes and some of it's sequels...the originals.  Yeah.   Kurt paced around, mentally rehearsing how he would act, what he would say, playing it off cool before locking himself up in his room and curling up into a tight ball. The sky lit up with lightening, as rain began to fall. Kurt closed his eyes and ported. He reappeared at the front door, slowly counted to ten and walked in with a smile on his face. "Where the hell have you been?" came Logan's voice. Kurt's head shot up to see all of the old X-team and all of the adults standing before him, and his heart froze. He belatedly remembered how bad of a liar he really was. X Professor Xavier only picked up tension when Kurt walked in through the door. Scott, Rogue, and Logan were furious. Ororo, Kitty, and Jean were worried. Evan was mildly angry. Hank and himself were concerned. He had hoped to be the first one to speak to Kurt about not reporting that he would be late.  And he wished that Kurt had showed up just a few minutes later.  Everyone else had been getting ready to go to bed, under his insistence. He wasn't expecting Logan to be the first one to speak, causing the German youth to freeze in his spot, looking very much afraid. Logan sniffed, then growled.  "And what the hell did you let him do to you?!" Xavier felt nothing but overwhelming panic from Kurt as he leapt back, losing his daytime appearance.   At the same time, Scott was approaching him.  "Why the hell didn't you contact me to tell me that you went somewhere else! Where did Lance take you?  Did he do something to you? Why did you let him take you?" And Rogue, well, she was screaming too.  "You idiotic furball, you scared everybody at the carnival when you didn't show up where we were suppose to meet!" "Kurt, just tell them Lance isn't that bad of a guy and so they can just deal!" protested Kitty, annoyed that all the blame was going on Lance. Ororo immediately ushered her out along with Rogue, using Jean's help. "Scott," was the only thing that Jean said, before disappearing out of the room with the other three. Xavier tried to gain control of the situation.  "Evan, please go to your room," he said with a sense of urgency. "Yes, Professor." Evan left quickly, unnerved with the aggression the males were showing. Kurt, in the meantime, looked like he was building himself into a panicked frenzy. "I didn't, he didn't..." he was stammering. "His smell is all over you!" "Logan, don't!" But Xavier felt his intent too late, and wasn't able to stop Logan from emitting that phrase. "What do you mean his smell is all over him?" asked Scott. Shame. That was the next feeling he picked up. Overwhelming shame and despair. "Kurt!" Xavier called out, hoping to catch his attention. It was too late. A bolt of lightening and a thunderous crash both blinded them for a moment, and drowned out the sound of Kurt porting away. "Kurt, dammit, come back here!" shouted Scott. "Oh, dear," said Hank. Scott whirled on Logan.  "What do you mean, 'let him do to you?'" he asked, a touch of panic in his voice. "Scott! Logan!" Xavier finally raised his voice, both physically and mentally. Both mutants looked at him. "Scott, please go to your room," said Xavier. "But..." "Now." Scott sighed and he slowly made his way up the stairs. "Logan." Logan looked away, arms crossed. "Logan, that was uncalled for," said the Professor. "Yeah, I know.  Just wasn't thinking," Logan said, gruffily. "You want me to go after him? Chances are he's at the Brotherhood." Xavier remained quiet for a moment.  "My heart says yes... but my brain says otherwise.  We drove him to take off like that, even though the concern was sincere.  It's just that some of you were unable to project that concern and instead showed anger. Showing up unannounced will put more fear in that boy.  He thinks he did something wrong.  Confrontation will probably shatter him." Logan stared at the floor.  "This is my fault." "No, Logan.  You didn't know he would react like this.  For now, it might be best to let him simmer.  I'll check with Cerebro to make sure he did head over to the Brotherhood and not some other dangerous place.  Tomorrow I'll send Scott over, and hopefully, Kurt will have calmed down enough to come back." Logan nodded. Xavier sighed deeply.  It wasn't the fear that concerned him.  It was that feeling of being ashamed.  There was something else that was bothering Kurt.  He only hoped that the boy would be willing enough to talk to him when he came back. X "Yeah, we just hung out and watched some movies," said Lance. "I hope the good grades are worth hanging around the X-geek, right?" asked Pietro, laughing. Todd offered a shaky smile.   Lance just shook his head.   A knock on the door caught his attention.  "Well, don't just all get up at once," he grumbled, when no one made a move to answer the door. Lance stood up and stepped out of the kitchen. "Who would be coming here at this hour?" he mumbled to himself. Another crash of thunder made him wince. He opened the door and froze. Kurt was dripping wet, shivering.  "Th-they know," was all he whispered, before collapsing into Lance's arms. Lance looked down at the unconscious youth. Then he glanced back towards the kitchen where the other mutants were. They know. . . The X-geeks. Summers. The bald dude. That really scary guy with the claws. Shit... tbc...
