Logan watched Remy's hand on Victor's wrist with narrowed eyes. A low growl rumbled out dangerously from somewhere deep inside him, his own eyes flashing gold. He wanted to kill the fucker right now…but he couldn't. Not while Remy
was there. Not while the man that he loved perched himself on a perilous cliff between himself and Victor, either one of them capable of killing the young Cajun in the blink of an eye.
The few minutes of silence were tense; even the wait-staff and patrons held their bated breath as they waited to see what would happen next.
Remy's eyes glowed ominously and the air crackled with the intensity of his anger. "Try me," he said again on a low voice, which was dangerous and somehow seductive.
Victor snarled and barely contained a shiver. Damn that man and his eyes. Damn him and his cocky ways, his ability to see deep inside of him without even batting an eye. "A fuck," he growled. No…more than just a fuck. "You. That's
what'll stop this shit. You…and no one else," he said before gripping Remy's wrist, threatening to snap it.
Logan growled a little louder now, slipping his claws in and out of his hands as he clenched his fists. "Don't think so, bub," he said as he narrowed his eyes.
Remy shook his head. "Non, Logan. Don't. It ain' gonna help none if you fight `im, cher," he said softly, his voice a little sad. Looking up at Victor, his eyes glowed again for a second before nodding. "Fine. You can have me,
Victor…but you have to take Logan, too. You want me, you take da whole package…not just part of me." Remy never broke eye contact with Victor as he laid his cards on the table.
It was Logan's turn to be shocked. Even the patrons and wait-staff couldn't help but gasp softly at Remy's declaration.
Remy smirked sadly but shook his head. "Dat's da only way I'll ever go back to you…sweetie," he said, throwing the bitterly spoken words back into Victor's face.
Victor winced a bit as he heard the venom behind them but snorted and rolled his eyes. "Right. I call bullshit Remy," he said before glaring at him, though he didn't smell fear or a lie on the young man.
Remy's lip twitched at that but shook his head. "Non, Vic. No bullshit. No strings. Jus' me an' Logan."
Logan snarled. "No, but hell no, darlin'. I won't let this sick fuck take you. I ain't gonna let you just…go off with `im. Fer all I know, he'll rip yer head off."
Remy's head snapped sharply as he looked at him. "Ain' gonna go alone cher…gonna go wit' you. An' him."
Logan bit back another growl as he retracted his claws. "Fine, but Vic ain't gonna lay a finger on you," he said before stalking out.
Remy nodded and then winced as Victor grabbed his hair and kissed him roughly before pushing him back. "Let's go," he said before walking out of the door. Following them out, he shook his head. It wasn't till they left that everyone
in the restaurant let out a shaky sigh of relief.
As Victor and Remy walked over to Logan's car, Logan grabbed Victor by the collar and slammed the man into the car, growling and snarling. Victor snarled back, both of their eyes glowing gold. And…strange enough, it was as if the two
men were having a conversation through their growls.
Soon enough Logan let Victor go before smirking. Victor snarled one last time before getting into the car.
Remy frowned and then shook his head. "Weird," he muttered to himself before grabbing his pack of cigarettes from his shirt and placing one in his mouth, lighting the tip with his finger. Taking a drag, he sighed softly, the rush of
nicotine in his body helping to calm his nerves a bit.
Climbing into the car, he sat next to Logan, smoking his cigarette and relaxing into him. Smiling a bit, he looked up at his boyfriend and closed his eyes, opening his eyes again only when the cigarette was near its end, and then he stubbed it out.
They drove for a little bit, a tense silence reigning in the car until Logan pulled into a side-of-the-road motels. Not the nicest of places, but not too shitty, either.
Logan got out, went to the window and paid for a room before he took the key and motioned to the others to follow him.
Victor got out of the car slowly and growled at the myriad of scents that assaulted his nose. God, he couldn't stand the scents. Sex and drugs, smoke, food, blood…that last gave him pause and he licked his lips, bloodlust making his body hum with excitement.
Remy eyed him warily and sighed softly as he felt the bloodlust rising up within Victor. It sent chills through his body, even as his own body responded to the simple pleasures that were rolling off of Victor. It was intoxicating…almost
like sex. It intrigued and frightened him how something so primal could arouse him.
When they were all gathered in the room, Remy sat on the bed. Victor shrugged off his jacket and was about to undo his fly when Remy stopped him.
"Non…not now, cher. We need to talk first."
"Talk? That wasn't part of the agreement, kid," he snarled.
Remy's eyes flashed and he turned sharply as he noticed the sharp glint of silver over in the corner.Remy narrowed his eyes and shook his head, glaring at Logan before returning his attention to the blonde feral.
"Non. You ain' fightin' in here, Logan…Victor," he added, expanding his scold to include him, too. "And plans change. WE need to talk. All of us. Not jus' me an' you, Vic…but you, Logan and I. If I'm goin' to be wit' any of ya'll…I
want…non… need us to get along. If you ain' willin' to put aside whatever…petty shit dat happened between ya'll behind, den you can bot' forget about me bein' wit' ei'der one of you."
Logan growled softly. Looking at his lover, he snarled. "Just `cause you had a fling with Vic and ended it `cause of some…petty fight…don't mean that the fight between him and me's the same, darlin'. This…fuck'n'kill fest ain't some petty
fight. And it ain't somethin' we can get over with right away, so don't you dare fuckin' assume it's petty," he told him. Logan retracted his claws before he had the desire to stab someone. Remy felt guilty that his words had upset Logan, but he wanted to relieve him of his burden.
Victor's hands stilled at his fly and he sighed softly before closing his eyes. He hated to admit it, but Logan's words were true. He used to care for the man a long time ago…but it had all gone to hell. He regretted it at times, but then
again, sometimes he didn't. Still…he needed this to work. He couldn't stand being alone anymore. Remy was one of the few who'd managed to keep him sane. And he was the only one to stay alive, while Logan…Logan was like a brother…his family. Victor had always been able to confide in Logan without fearing that he'd be whipped or beaten for saying the wrong thing. Before it all went wrong, he'd trusted him.
Remy eyed the two ferals, stiffening for a moment at the tension. It was thick enough to cut with a steak knife. Fear ran through him for a moment before he quickly quelled it, knowing it would do neither of them any good. Sighing, he
shook his head and patted the bed. "Sit… n' talk. I'll keep da two of you from killin' t'udder."
Logan eyed Victor warily as he moved over to sit next to his boyfriend while Victor moved over, sitting on the other side. Once both men flanked him, Remy smiled softly and lowered his eyes, placing his hands over theirs.
At once, both men's mind was filled with confusion and then desire, until finally a feeling of calm radiated through them until they relaxed enough that they didn't feel a need to kill the other. He channeled their emotions through
him and felt the conflicting raging inside of them, and it affected him deeply.
"Alright. Talk," Remy said after a few minutes of silence as he let go of their hands, trying to recover from the energy he'd used to calm them. He felt drained and almost numb, but he had to stay awake. He needed to hear their story.
