A/N Goddess Foxfeather, Queen of Mad Plotbunnies and BUSIEST WOMAN ALIVE (tm), here we go again... ;) Have Tim and Steed stand by with the Nemain-to-English dictionary, lol... InterNutter, TC and Maxwell Pink are wonderful wonderful wonderful for archiving. :) Readers/Reviewers: Well, it's another story in the Foreververse... And the ducks and Killer Kitties (tm) and their Killer Minions (tm) have reached an uneasy truce. It seems they both hate the Commando Arllosllos(tm) which are currently massing on the roadside nearby...honestly, they'd be more effective if the little buggers didn't keep getting run over. Not the brightest crayons in the box, armadillos.

Kitty stretched and yawned without opening her eyes. The bed felt strange to her, not at all like her nice soft mattress that she was used to. And it smelled different, too, she noticed, turning over onto her stomach to block out the insipient light trying to pierce her eyelids. She could hear shuffling and barely-whispered voices and wondered if, for some reason, she was in the med lab. _No, I don't smell antiseptic. Just...detergent and fabric softener. And flowers? Why flowers? I don't have flowers in my room... _ She reached over to the empty side of the bed and felt for Kurt. _Nope...maybe it's really late or something. That would explain why it's so bright. _
"Ise wae wach?"
"Ich glaube sie leidet noch unter Jet-Lag..."
"Das glaube ich nicht."
Kitty groaned slightly and buried her face deeper in the pillow. She was trying to make sense of the voices and was almost certain that she had left the television on one of the foreign satellite channels when she fell asleep.
"Kurt bringt uns um wenn wir sie aufwecken!"
Kitty frowned. _ German...we don't get German stations here...just a sec...Erk. Germany. I'm at Kurt's parents' house. I'm not getting out of bed now, for sure! _ She was debating phasing through the bed and just hiding under it until she was less nervous or they just gave up and went away, but a tell-tale *bamf * and the smell of sulfur stopped her. "Anja! Erika! Katja!"
"Wir haben nichts gemacht! Ehrlich!"
_Sisters. All of 'em. Wonderful! _ Kitty felt a little bad for them, hearing the irritation in Kurt's voice. Rolling onto her back, she groaned "Ich bin wach! Ich bin wach!"1 She still had her eyes squeezed tightly shut but had the distinct impression that she was being stared at.
"I thouyou you didn't speak German," one of the girls finally said.
"Any German I speak is from your brother. Your notoriously hard to wake up brother," Kitty said, finally opening her eyes slowly. "What time is it?"
"Eleven a.m. here, which means..." Kurt had to think for a moment, "it's about five a.m. in New York."
"No wonder I'm so sleepy," Kitty said. "Why'd you let me sleep so late?"
One of the girls piped in, saying, "Kurti said you took some motion-sickness pills on the plane and they made you tired."
Kurt nodded. "And you didn't get much rest before we left, so I figured to let you sleep until you woke up."
Kitty sighed. "Now I'm a slugabed. Great." She started to sit up but the avid stares of Kurt's sisters made her pause, pulling the sheet up to cover the top of her night shirt that she did not remember putting on. In fact, now that she thought about it, she did not remember most of the flight, getting off the plane, or even going from the airport to the house. "Um..."
Kurt caught her discomfort. "Out, girls...I want to talk to Kitty for a moment before she gets dressed."
"Oooooooh," Erika said, giggling. "I'm sure that's what you want to do!"
"Klappe...Or I'll tie your pigtails together with Kali's tail!"
The girls giggled, Kurt's threat holding no real gravity, and scurried from the room, calling for their parents. Kitty caught her name and "awake", which made her sink down into the bed again. "Can we go home now?"
Kurt laughed. "They won't bite, I promise..." He sat down on the edge of the bed, cross-legged, resting his elbows on his knees and propping his chin on his folded hands to consider her state. He looked, Kitty thought, disturbingly elfin. "No one is going to think you're lazy for sleeping in. And no, you didn't do anything silly on the plane or in the airport. You slept the entire ride here, too. I think you took too many of those Dramamine!"
Kitty felt a little better. "How did I get off the plane?"
"I sort of dragged you until we got our luggage, then I carried you. My father would like to see you with your eyes open, you know..." he said, smiling. "Mama has gone on and on about you and he says he'd really like to meet you in person!"
"Oy." She wrinkled her brows together and said, "I'm actually really nervous."
"Really?" he said dryly. "I never would'vessedssed." He leaned forward and kissed her forehead. "Come on, then! Get up!"
Kitty shot him a look and rolled to her feet on the opposite side of the bed, catching sight of herself in the mirror over the dresser. "Ugh! I look like crap!"
"I beg to differ," he said, coming to stand behind her. "You look fine!"
Kitty glared at his reflection. "My hair's a mess and frizzy to boot, my eyes are all red because I slept with my contacts in, I have dark circles, my skin's a weird color and I'm bloated!"
Kurt sighed. "You look like you just woke up, which I happen to find cute."
"_Bunnies _ are cute. _Puppies _ are cute...I look terrible!"
"Katzchen," he said seriously, "you look fine. You can take a shower and get all girly before you see my family again. I'm not going to drag you to the sitting room in your-_my _-t-shirt and panties. Also cute, if you must know."
Kitty blushed bright pink at that. She tugged the hem of the shirt, one of many stolen from Kurt over the months, down to cover her underwear. "Stop looking at me like that...we can't! We're in your parents' house!"
"So? It's going to happen sooner or later," he pointed out, kissing the back of her neck in a way that made her shiver. "If not now, then after we're married..."
"Well, I can wait!" Though, she seriously doubted it, if he kept kissing her like that.
Kurt glanced at her face in the mirror before sliding his arms around her waist and kissing the side of her neck, working his way up to her ear. Between kisses, he said, "Don't talk to me about waiting! Waiting is not a good idea!"
"Kurt!"
"We won't get caught. My parents know we _know _ each other. Just so long as we don't break the bed frame..." He caught her earlobe between his fangs and nipped sharply. "They won't say anything."
"But they'll _know! _" She found herself not quite caring enough as she should that Kurt's hands were roaming over her sto, sl, slowly making their way towards her breasts.
"And?"
"And? What do you mean, 'And'? You don't care?" She tried weakly to break away from him but ended up leaning against him all the more.
Kurt stopped what he was doing and rolled his eyes. "Katzchen, if they know, they know. And they trust us both. They know we're serious and not just doing this because we can. And what's more," he said, returning to his previous activity, saying between nibbles, "they know we love each other."
For some reason, this embarrassed Kitty more than his parents knowing they were sleeping together. "Kurt," she began, but was cut off by his hand over her open mouth.
"Unless the next words out of your mouth are 'I love you,' or some variant thereof, I don't want to hear it."
She stuck her tongue out, licking the palm of his hand, making him let go. "I love you, but I don't think we should..." At his sigh, she pointed out, "That's a variant!"
"Kitty..."
"Kurt..."
"Ah...idea," he grinned, turning her around. "Try and resist the puppy-dog eyes!" he crowed, laughing as she did, trying without wanting to escape his grasp. "Nope! You're not going anywhere!" He pulled her close and kissed her, Kitty standing on her toes to reduce the height difference. She stopped giggling at the first touch of his lips on hers, tentatively resting her hands on his shoulders as he slid his grasp to her waist, then her hips, drawing her closer still, his arousal pressing against her stomach.
Kitty made a murmuring sound in the back of throat and closed her eyes, forgetting that she felt jet lagged and bloated from travel, forgetting that she thought she looked hideous at that moment. Instead, the only thing she thought about was the fact Kurt was rubbing against her just enough for her to notice, and his tail was snaking around her thigh, the spaded tip working under her night shirt to brush against the dampening fabric of her underwear. She darted her tongue out to lick his lower lip before taking it between her teeth and nibbling gently. Kurt groaned softly and deepened the kiss, his tongue a welcome intrusion as she felt like melting into him. She was very nearly convinced to get back into bed when one of Kurt's sisters, knocking as she opened the door, burst out with, "I *knew * it!"
"Erika," Kurt groaned, pulling away from the kiss but not letting Kitty go, partially to conceal his reaction to her and partially to keep her from hiding under the bed. His tail slowly unwrapped from her leg as his other sisters appeared in the doorway.
"You owe me three sweets," the one Kitty remembered as Katja said to Erika. "I told you they wouldn't make it past lunch without kissing."
"Go!" Kurt said, more exasperated than commanding.
Kitty buried her face against his chest as the three girls vanished down the hall, one of them singing in English "Kurt and Kitty, sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G!"2
Kurt sighed. "Welcome to my home, Schatz..."

"What's going on, Chuck?" Logan did not take the proffered seat, standing instead in the doorway of the upstairs study, arms akimbo and scowl set on permanent.
It was Storm who answered. "There's been another incident...mutant-related. It registered on Cerebro this time and there seems to be several of them."
"Pardon?"
Professor Xavier said tightly, strain showing around his eyes, "What has been written off as a hoax or a lie to the authorities in other parts of the country is something very, very real...it seems that there is a group of mutants, powerful but mostly untrained, in Bayville."
"Magneto," Logan said, nodding in finality.
"No," Beast sighed from his spot on the sofa, looking seven kinds of worn out. "It's not Magneto at all. In fact, he's dropped almost entirely off our radar, so to speak. Even Pietro is still MIA, which is another topic all together. All that we know of the Brotherhood anymore is Mystique and Fred, and they're very quiet."
"Could it be that Incubus character?" Logan asked, slowly starting to worry.
"No," The Professor said with great certainty. "It's not him, or it, rather. Incubus did not register on Cerebro. These mutants do, quite clearly."
Storm closed her eyes and tilted her chin up, a posture Logan had learned meant that she was in deep thought. "What do they do? What do we look for?"
"More importantly," Logan said harshly, "why are they here?"
The Professor sighed softly, the strain of the past few days catching up with him. He had withheld his information for as long as possible, waiting and hoping and watching... Now he knew that the threat was real, but how much of a threat was she, really? As for the ones with her... He sighed again, trailing off his thoughts before addressing the others. "That is something we will have to wait and see, Logan. For now, we can only be vigilant. Just to be safe, the children cannot leave the grounds without an adult escort. This is going to raise a fuss, no doubt, but it has to be done."
"What should we tell them when they ask?" Storm queried.
"Tell them...Tell them it's going to hurt us worse than it will them..." The Professor wheeled himself past Logan, who was forced by politeness if not the threat of sore toes to get out of the doorway, and into the hall leading to the elevators. _Emma, Emma Emma _, the Professor thought, _why are you back? _

A/N OOOOOOOH! Emma...dunh dunh DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNH! And Incubus! And more mutants! And smut to come (hee hee).... Lots-o-smut...and angst! And roommates! And I need to cut down on caffeine! Way too many exclamation marks for one A/N!

1 In order, and thanks to Foxfeather for translating-"Is she awake?" "I think she still has jet-lag," "I don't think that..." "Kurt will kill us if we wake her!" "We weren't doing anything! I promise!" and "I'm awake, I'm awake!"
2 I have no idea if there's a German equivalent to that one, but we can pretend that someone taught it to them when they visited Kurt at the Institute... Probably Jubilee.
