“Oh…oh, man…what happened?”

Nightcrawler a.k.a. Kurt Wagner slowly opens his eyes to find himself back in the X-Mansion, still in his mission outfit. As Kurt adjusts his vision to the light of the room, he sees someone standing over him. The Cerebro alarm begins to blare loudly through the Mansion, indicating a threat is getting close. Jubilee grabs the remote and flips it to the security channel. “No!” Kurt says, interrupting both of them. “I’m not running! The Professor told me that Cerebro has an automated defense system just in case of an attack. I’m going to activate it!”

A holographic vid-screen pops up in the room in front of him as Jubilee & Kitty join his side. The three look on as dozens of laser pulse turrets rise from the ground of the Mansion, all of them aimed at the oncoming Sentinel fleet. What happens next can only be described as a Robot massacre. The turrets fire rapidly, not giving any Sentinel a chance to react. Lasers rip through their bodies, and charred scrap metal of their remains litter the ground, falling so hard they create small craters. The 3 X-Men smile, feeling that they’re victorious. Within moments, the turrets stop firing, and not one Sentinel is revealed in the sky.

“It worked!” Kurt says.

“That crash came from the front door.” Kitty says.

“I think a few survived and got in.” Jubilee adds.

Nightcrawler looks up to the ceiling. “Only one way to find out.”

Putting his arms around Jubilee & Kitty, he ‘ports them up through the floor, into the Main Hall of the X-Mansion. Or more specifically, a balcony in the Main Hall. As the dust clears, they hover into the room, and begin scanning it.

“Scanners report 3 mutant designates still in the area.” The leader says. “Commence Briefing on their information.”

The second-in-command hovers forward and begins. “Target 1. Name: Kurt Wagner. Mutant Designate: Nightcrawler. Mutant Ability: Teleportation & Enhance Agility.”

“They know about you?” Kitty whispers, still in hiding.

“They know about all of us.” Kurt whispers back. “The Professor says they were able to hack into Cerebro a few days ago, and gained the information.”

The second-in-command Sentinel continues. “Target 2. Name: Katherine Pryde. Mutant Designate: Kitty. Mutant Ability: Phasing.”

“That’s not my name!” Kitty whispers, getting angry. “It’s Shadowcat!”

Kurt puts his hand over her mouth, shutting her up. “It doesn’t really matter now, Kitty!”

“Target 3. Name: Jubilation Lee. Mutant Designate: Jubilee. Mutant Ability…”

5 Minutes Later…

A thorough house check has lead the Prime Sentinels to the Safe Room, where the 3 X-Men are hiding out from them. They charge up their palm blasters and prepare to blow a hole into the room when Kitty phases through the wall, getting their attention and starting the 1st part of the plan.

All attention turns to the feet of the massive Sentinel, where it seems that one Prime Sentinel has survived. “I will escort this rebellious Mutant to the Facility. You proceed in the acquisition of all other Mutants in the area!”

There is a long silence between the two, as the original Sentinel looks down at his Prime Superior, calculating the order he was just given. “Understood. Order acknowledged.”
