When Earth Shakes Chp1
It's like an earthquake. Something so dramatic that it changes the very ground you stand on. So wrathful, it almost feels like the revenge of Mother Nature her self.

"Kurt?"
Kitty was always wondering where Lance was, but this time she was looking for Kurt. This was definitely a surprise.
"Yes?"
"I was wondering i-if you and Lance c-could, like, try to work things out. I mean I, like, really like him and you're a good friend and--"
Kurt held out his hand cutting off her next words. "Kitty, I just can't talk to him. He's not exactly the most sociable person for me." Kurt started examining his breakfast, as if he had nothing better to do.
"That's like, really harsh Kurt."
Kitty did realize that Lance was in the brotherhood, but she was always willing to give people a chance...especially Lance. "I thought out of all people you would...never mind."
"Kitty, vait." Kurt just knew he would regret his next words.
"Fine."
What have I done?
Kitty's eyes lit up like a super nova. "O-M-G, thanks Kurt! I promise you won't be sorry." And with that she fled through the wall to get her books for school, which would be starting very soon.
Of course I won't... Kurt thought with a sigh of regret.

"What? Why?!"
Kitty made an angry face at Lance's words, almost making him cringe.
"Um, never mind," Lance said out of desperation.” I’ll try to be nicer."
I hope she fell for that one. Lance thought as he feigned a smile while trying not to anger Kitty.
"Good!" Kitty went back to her happy Valley Girl self." I'll see you during lunch!"
She turned around and left Lance to stand there wondering what her sudden interest in him and Kurt actually being friendly was.
"What I'd do for lust." Lance snickered.

Okay, next my academic classes, then Latin, and last but not laest Chemistry...Mein gott I'm late!
Kurt started running through the halls as if his life (or career) depended on it. He turned the corner of a hallway and a shadowy figure stood in his wake. He collided with the stranger and fell onto the floor with a loud thud.
"Vhat the?" Kurt rubbed his head as he looked up at the person with hazed eyes.
"Hey watch where you'r--oh! It's you." Kurts sight returned as he looked up at the familiar figure with an even more familiar voice. It what no one other than Lance Alvers.
Scheiße...
His dazed eyes suddenly glared at the larger mutant standing before him.
"Just because kitty asked me to be nice to you, don't think that this will change anything." Lance grabbed Kurt by his shoulders and picked the him up off the ground. "I could have gotten up on my own you know."
Kurt seemed annoyed with Lance, but before Kurt could fit another word in Lance had walked down the hall to his class...or maybe just walking.

Stupid fuz-ball.
Lance was still annoyed by the interuption in his daily stroll.
Why dose Kitty want me to be friendly with him anyway? I thought she didn't like him that way...
As Lance thought the over he decided to ask the "little blue freak" a few questions at the end of school...
