I do not own the X-Men or Dungeons & Dragons. This is a work of parody created for non-commercial purposes.
Warning:
NC, Femslash, and other naughtiness sure to offend prudes.
Author's Note:
This story takes place after Quentin Quire (a telepathic student at the Xavier Institute) becomes addicted to the power ehancing drug known as Kick and trys to take over the Institute, and then shortly after that Jean Grey finds out that her husband Scott Summers and Emma Frost have been having an affair.
However, in this story, things begin to differ from canon from that point on.
Prologue
Three attractive blonde women occupied Hank McCoy’s med lab, but only one of them was conscious, and only one of them knew why they were all here.
Sophie Stepford had been in the Xavier Institute for Higher Learning’s infirmary ever since she had overdosed on the drug known as Kick (which could temporarily enhance a mutant’s powers).
Thanks to Doctor McCoy’s timely care Sophie had survived the experience, but unfortunately the damage had already been done. Kick had forced the young Stepford Cuckoos telepathic brain to operate at such an accelerated level that it had caused severe damage to Sophie’s cerebral cortex. The fact that she had been using Cerebro at the time as well as the power of the Cuckoos collective ‘supermind’ had only caused further damage.
The young blonde mutant had not woken up since then, and if she ever did, her intellect would probably be so reduced that she would be unable to care for herself.
The other Stepford Cuckoos had tried repeatedly to use their combined powers to heal her mind, but for some reason all their efforts had failed.
Esme Stepford reached out and touched her sister’s forehead just as the woman who had become her secret benefactor and patron had taught her. Dissipating the healing energies she and her sisters had so carefully generated and crafted earlier that day, with only a touch.
Sophie would only be allowed to wake up when Esme was ready for her to.
Then she turned to Emma Grace Frost.
The former White Queen of the Hellfire Club had been here ever since Jean Grey had dropped her off.
Emma Frost was in a catatonic state, but Beast could find nothing physically wrong with her. She had simply retreated deep within her own mind due to whatever Jean (who had confessed she was responsible for Emma’s current condition) had done to her.
This pleased Esme.
While she had hoped that Jean Grey would simply kill Emma after she and the other Cuckoos had let her know that Frost was sleeping with Jean’s husband, this was almost as good as far as Esme was concerned.
Alone with the two women she had so grievously hurt, Esme of the Stepford Cuckoos allowed herself a triumphant little smile.
