Over the past year, Scott Summers and Jean Grey had grown very close after having finally started a relationship. From close friends to lovers, they couldn’t be happier. Their love was strong and growing increasingly serious, making it clear they were in this for the long haul.

“Don’t forget the pool, bub,” muttered Logan, sounding just as exasperated.

“How could I?” he said with a slight chuckle, “I hope Sam learned his lesson when it comes testing the laws of physics.”

“Oh he will because he’ll have PLENTY of time to think about it while he’s cleaning the X-jet and washing the X-van.”

As they stepped into the elevator, the two men let out a light sigh. It had been a pretty busy day. Hank and the Professor had barricaded themselves in Cerebro to perform a few upgrades and Jean and Ororo were hard at work making some new Danger Room program. All the while, there was never a shortage of messes to clean up, giving them plenty of things to be stressed over.

“Man I can’t wait to get out of this uniform and on my bike,” said Logan as the elevator descended, “Ro and I have a big evening planned and as long as the kiddies are stuck with midterms, I wanna make the best of it.”

“Big evening, huh?” said Scott with a grin, “What is it this time? That restaurant you two always go to or the pool hall you drag her to?”

“I don’t drag her anywhere, bub,” quipped Logan, “Believe it or not, Ro is a hell of a pool shark. She finds a way to beat me more than the usual deadbeats who try and hustle me with a game of eight ball.”

“Ororo…A pool shark? No way!” laughed Scott.

“There’s a lot of things ya don’t know about her,” said Logan with a wolfish grin, “Believe me, if you knew half the shit she was capable of, you’d never look at her the same.”

“Oh I can imagine. Keep in mind, Jean and I can hear you two go at it all the time. Even with sound proofing, you’re still pretty loud.”

“What can I say? I love to make her scream. She doesn’t seem to mind,” shrugged Logan.

“Well I think there’s a fine line between screaming for ecstasy and just plain screaming,” argued Scott, having seen first hand how wild he and Ororo could be.

“Say what you will bub, it still works for us,” he said in a confident tone, “You and Jeannie like to be strong and thorough, but Ro and I prefer the fast and the furious.”

“Well we don’t let it get THAT loud…Most of the time at least,” said Scott with a chuckle, “You two just love to push your limits.”

“And what’s wrong with goin’ all out every now and then? That’s how Ro and I keep things interesting. You two should try it sometimes. Ya may be surprised.”

Scott rolled his eyes as they stepped out of the elevator and made their way down the hall.

“Speakin’ of which…” continued Logan, “How are things with you and Jeannie? Is sharin’ a room drivin’ ya crazy yet?”

“No Logan, we’re fine,” assured Scott, “It’s taken some adjusting, but it’s been great. I’ve even been getting a better night’s sleep. Having a beautiful woman in your arms will do that to a guy.”

“Can’t argue with that logic, bub,” grinned Logan, “So I take it you two are getting really serious?”

“We’ve been serious for a long time, Logan,” said Scott in a more serious tone, “Jean and I really love each other. We share a really strong connection and after everything that’s happened over the past year, we really want to move ahead with this relationship.”

“Well I’m happy for ya, kid,” said Logan with encouragement, “Hell, I knew a long time ago that you two were gonna end up together.”

“Yet you were still willing to rip my head off when you found out that we had been having sex,” grinned Scott.

“I was,” he admitted, “Just be thankful to every higher power in the universe that Ro was there to clear things up. Otherwise you and I would’ve had some serious words.”

“Cleared things up?” said Scott with a half grin, “I thought you two fucked in the observation deck?”

“What’s your point?” quipped Logan, showing no remorse.

Scott laughed and shook his head. He just couldn’t get over how much Ororo had affected this man. Even though he still bore his Wolverine ways, nobody denied that he loved Ororo and she truly made him happy.

“You are totally head over heels for that woman, you know?” made Scott as they made their way up to the observation deck.

“Ain’t no more than how smitten you are with Jeannie.”

“Yeah, yeah…I know. Guess those girls got us both whipped.”

“And what part of that is a bad thing?”

“Absolutely nothing,” affirmed Scott with a grin.

With another lighthearted laugh the two men made their way up the stairs to meet their respective lovers, smiling at how lucky they were to have such wonderful girls in their lives..

Up in the observation deck, Jean was helping Ororo make the final adjustments to her new Danger Room program. It wasn’t exactly an ordinary program. This was more a private program for couples, full of plenty of sensual surprises.

“Oh it’s not as hard as you think, Jean,” said Ororo with a sultry grin, “Logan and I have powers that are defined by the complex control of our emotions. And when we have sex, we like to let it all go just to get it out of our system.”

“And boy do you ever!” said Jean with a laugh, “I’ve heard how loud you two are.”

“Indeed,” said Ororo with a warm smile, “And I can’t tell you how happy we all are for the both of you.”

“Thanks Ro. I appreciate it. And who knows? Maybe you and Logan will get there as well. It’s not like you two aren’t already serious.”

“I know,” sighed Ororo, “I do love Logan, but I don’t want to move too fast.”

“Hey, I know how it is,” said Jean with a sympathetic look, “You just have to wait for the right moment. After that, it’s a wonderful feeling. More than I can ever describe.”

Ororo smiled at Jean’s words as she hit a few more commands before compiling the program. Then, just as it finished, Scott and Logan entered the deck.

“Hey, there’s my goddess,” said Logan in a husky tone as he approached his girlfriend.

“Ah Logan,” said Ororo as she got up from her seat and gave her lover a kiss, “You’re just in time. That little program I told you about is finished.”

“Finished? So soon?”

“Yep! Thanks in large part to Jean,” said Ororo with a friendly gesture.

“Of course, my love,” she said playfully, giving him that sultry look he loved, “They’re both adults now and I think we should do something to commemorate this passage. After all, they’ve always told us how we have such a strong taste for the fast and the furious…Care to show them why?”

It was an idea Logan never would have conceived of a year ago. Scott and Jeannie were still kids to him, even if they were grown up. Sure, he had admired how beautiful Jean had grown. It was hard for any guy not to. But she was still that little girl in his eyes.

“Such a gentlemen. We’ve raised you well, Scott,” said Ororo with a slight laugh, “In that case, I’ll fire up the program.”

“Good idea!” said Jean as she followed Scott out to make some preparations of their own, “In the meantime, Scott and I will get some supplies and warm up a pot of that herbal tea. I have a feeling that we’ll all be needing it!”

After warming up the consoles and sharing a good round of the ‘special’ herbal tea they always kept in strong supply, the two couples met in the danger room. They were still in their uniforms, which were already beginning to feel horribly itchy. But before they got to the fun stuff, it was necessary to set the mood.

“Okay Storm, I think it’s ready,” said Jean as the hum of the vast machinery filled the area, “The program should be up in about ten seconds.”

“Wonderful! I just hope that last little adjustment I made to accommodate the both of us works alright,” said the former weather goddess.
