Chapter 1
The Deal

Hank sighed, shrugging on his hat and coat, nodding to the man at the bar. Harry's Bar wasn’t too far a stagger from Xaviers school for the gifted, a nice walk to for the Doctor to be able to get comfortably drunk and forget his worries. It wasn’t often that Henry P. McCoy PhD allowed himself to indulge in such a manner but once in a blue moon when things got too much...

The man behind the bar nodded amiably as he stood,

“G’night Hank” Harry's Bar was most definitely mutant friendly, a quality that was becoming rare in such times. Hank ambled out alone into the street, wobbling a little with each step and humming pacabels cannon but still, warmly embracing the happy glow of drunkenness. Things always seemed so much simpler when he was drunk...when his mind would just shut up for five minutes...when he was at peace -

“Careful, X-Man, it’s dangerous to let your guard down this much” A low voice growled from a nearby alleyway. Hank cursed himself for not paying more attention,

“Sabretooth” He straightened out, tensing for a fight as the shaggy, dangerous man stepped a little closer, not quite into the light, “to what do I owe the pleasure of your company?” He asked, the small, drunk part of his mind happy at keeping the slur from his voice,

“I got a little...proposal for ya McCoy” Creed grinned in reply, raising both clawed hands in a peaceful gesture, “I don’t wanna fight” He frowned a moment, “actually, I *do* wanna fight just not with you”

“I’m flattered, Creed, really but don’t you think a proposal is a little soon? We haven’t even been on a date” Came the dry retort, “forgive me if I seem somewhat loathe to trust you” Hank looked the other man over for weaponry, noticing him sway a little - he was drunk too, “what do you want Creed?” Sabretooth stepped forward, into the light. Exposing himself, Hank realised, inwardly sighing in exasperation at his slow mind,

“Here’s the deal” Creed leant against the lamppost, barely a foot away, “I’ll keep my goons out of trouble, away from the X-men. Hell, I’ll even stop them doin’ street crime to sweeten the deal” He grinned, flashing too-sharp canines, as the Doctor frowned,

“And what do you want in return?” It was a hell of a lot for Sabretooth to give up...or at least it seemed that way,

“In return for bein’ good...I get you. Once a month for a night” The answer had been flat, unemotional and Hank couldn’t see the other mans eyes to see if he was lying or not,

“Me?” Hank asked, sure that his mind had shut down in shock,

“You. For a night once a month” Creed repeated patiently. He’d been watching the Doctor for the past three hours, watched him steadily become more and more drunk...Creed hoped he’d judged the time right as he watched the other man splutter,

“Why?” Hank finally managed to gasp out, “why me?” Sabretooth snorted, one side of his mouth quirking upwards as he let his eyes rove over the doctors trim physique,

“Maybe I’ve got a thing for blue?” Under more usual circumstances Hank would have laughed, as it was his mind was having difficulty grasping the whole situation,

“What makes you think I would be interested?” He asked, stalling for time as he tried to think - Sabretooth...wanted...*him*

“You’re asking questions, ya haven’t laughed in my face, ya heart rates gone through the roof, ya blushin and I can smell the pheromones pourin off ya” Creed winked, “bit of a give away, McCoy” Hank realised he *was* blushing as his face became hotter, “what do you say?” The X-mens safety in exchange for...could he actually *do* this? Why did such a relatively small thing seem like such a big sacrifice? Hank frowned, trying to think and wishing he hadn’t drunk quite so much. He was so wrapped up in his thoughts he didn’t notice Sabretooth move closer until their bodies brushed together and he gasped involuntarily at the *heat* that the other man was exuding. He looked up into lust slitted, feral eyes, “come on, McCoy, I know you’re curious” Sabretooths voice was low and rough, making him think of golden lions and dark whiskey. Hank made a soft noise of want as a rock hard thigh pressed up between his own and suddenly the millions of ‘why’s flew away, “just...say...yes” Hank tilted his head back with a moan so soft that only he and Victor Creed heard it,

“Yes”
