Faire l'amour
Title: Faire l'amour
Author: Paws
Archived: As a link to LJ from nightscrawlers.com as it was a little too strong of a rating for the board.
Summary: This is AU - based off of scrawlersearth at nightscrawlers.com - please visit there for way more details and backlogs of the RPG, however this stands good enough on it's own to be readable. To give you a basic background, Xaviers is a normal college for students with...differences. Most of the students didn't know about other mutants until they came there. There are no x-men, no evil guys wanting to take over the world, no aliens - just a bunch of mutant teens struggling to find their way in the world and doing fairly normal college stuff. We deviate from canon in a lot of areas, but I am sure that you will find the flavor of the characters to be fairly close to their canon versions.
Rating: R because its lime.
Pairings: Remy LeBeau and Talia Josephine Palmer
Feedback: Please do - and feel free to critique as well!
Beta’s: Nacht off of nightscrawlers was invaluable to me in writing this fic, as she was a wonderful source of encouragement and had a lot of input into TJ - as that is who she plays in the RP (I play remy). It wouldn't have happened without her.
Author Notes: Remy is a 19 yr old who grew up on the streets of new orleans (wasn't adopted by Jean-Luc). He is all about having a great time in life. TJ is a 17 yr old who was raised on a reservation in arizona by her mother - christine palmer and the man that she married. TJ just discovered that Kurt Wagner, a professor at the school, is her biological father (Christine did not tell either TJ or Kurt about each other) because Kurt saw her and found out her mothers name and put two and two together.
Other people mentioned in the fic are: Raven - a fellow student and TJ's roomate (she has no relation to Kurt in this RP); Nurse annie - the school nurse and Bella - who is Remy's ex-girlfriend, not ex-wife.
After some days at the school, Remy and TJ ended up hitting it off - probabally in large fact due to them both being potheads and therefore spending a lot of time together doing that.
Disclaimer: Marvel owns all of the characters used in this story, I make no money off of this - but have a hell of a lot of fun playing.

Remy easily clung to the deep crevices in the rough brick wall on the west side of the school. Clad in black close fitting clothing, he very nearly faded completely into the dark surrounding him, his eyes being the only thing that would give his position away. He chuckled under his breath. It never failed to amaze him that the houses that usually had the most to steal were often the easiest to scale, with their ornate facades, balconies and wandering rooftops. Shimming along a convenient strip of banding, he quickly reached his target.
He lifted one gloved knuckle to tap gently on the window before him. He waited a few moments before the curtains stirred, an inquiring face peeking through the slit.
“Remy?” TJ mouthed, blinking her golden eyes sleepily at him.
He grinned as she tossed the curtains back and opened the window. “Evening, Chere.” He leaned his upper body slightly into the room and gave her a quick peck on the lips. “It be a wonderful night, non?” He gave her a quick look over, admiring the way that the tank top of her pajamas clung to her perky breasts. He loved the way that a woman looked all warm and rumpled straight from the bed.
TJ narrowed her eyes at him. “Its 1:00 a.m. you nut. I was sleeping.” She whispered, trying not to disturb her roommate. She ran her hand through her tousled hair, trying to bring it into some semblance of order.
Remy winked at her, completely unapologetic. “Why sleep? Dere’s no school in de morning.” He extended one gloved had to her. “Come on.”
TJ blinked, frowning slightly in confusion before leaning into him to look out her window at the empty wall that dropped two stories below to the lawn. “Come where?”
“Up on de roof.” Remy pointed one gloved finger helpfully up.
“You are insane.” TJ’s eyes widened “There is no fucking way I am going out there.”
Laughing Remy scooted back out balancing with ease on his toehold on the brickwork. “It don’ be dat hard…look.” He demonstrated the inch wide thick band of lighter brick that extended out of the sheer face of the wall that he was resting his toes on. “And y’ve climbed trees, haven’t you Chere? De ivy over ‘dere ain’t any different.” He shrugged in the direction of a thick growth of vines that stood about 5 feet from the window.
Following his gaze TJ crossed her arms. “No way! I do not want to spend the next two months in traction, just because you wanna play mission impossible.”
Remy rolled his eyes at that. “Remy’s not gonna let you fall. Sides it’d take work to fall off of anytin’ dis easy to climb.” Seized suddenly by inspiration, he rummaged in his rucksack that was slung over his shoulder, producing a wrinkled plastic bag that caught the weak light of the moon. “Dere’s no better way to spend a nice warm night den up on de roof, wit’ no interruptions.”
TJ wavered a bit at that. With all the stress and chaos in trying to fit into this insane asylum of a school, it seemed that every time she tried to take a moment to relax and unwind, someone was getting in her face. The idea of spending a few hours, smoking and snuggling with Remy, with no chance of an interruption did sound kind of appealing.
Not one to let an opportunity by, Remy scrambled in through the window. “Y’ just need a pair of old sneakers…y’ got any up here Chere?” He slid the closet door open, silent as ever, rooting around in the depths of it. He emerged with a well scuffed and tattered pair. “Here” he said handing them to her.
“Those aren’t mine.”
“So? Raven won’ mind will she?”
TJ looked at him funny. “What?” he asked. She waved down at her feet arching a brow.
“Oh ya, right…”
************
When had she agreed to this? TJ sighed in resignation as she pulled her hair into a ponytail. She scooped up her bag, slinging it over one shoulder. Remy was already out waiting on the edge of the wall, grinning like a gibbon at her.
TJ extended one leg out of the window, cautiously feeling with her toe for the small ledge. Taking one huge breath, she rested her weight on it, gripping the window jamb so hard her knuckles blanched. Suddenly she felt the heat of his body as he crowded close to her back. “It be OK, Chere. Remy won’t let you fall.”
“That’s easy for you to say” she hissed at him, bringing the other foot to rest beside the first. “Now what?”
Remy reached one hand past hers, fingers working into the groove between bricks. “Y’ just grab a handhold – and inch along. And don’ forget to breathe Chere.” He said with a low chuckle.
Taking a moment to glare over her shoulder at him, she dutifully sucked in a couple of deep breaths before willing her left hand to let go of the window edge, extending it along the wall, finger-tips scrambling along the rough-edged brick until she found a part that she could comfortably grip. She then slid her left leg carefully along the narrow edge, shifting her body weight onto it, slowly bringing her other leg alongside of it. Remy nonchalantly followed, keeping his one arm strong at her back.
After a few more shifts, she didn’t feel quite like her heart was going to pound right out of her chest. She started to shift her weight to her leading foot again, and barely had time to register the sensation of it slipping from its toehold before she felt herself slammed into the brick wall, Remy’s warm mass holding her firmly in place.
“Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit.” She panted, her body instantly breaking out in a sweat. Her cheek was pressed into the rough brick of the building and she focused on that, fighting the sudden rise of vertigo.
“Chere, it be alright, Remy’s got ya.” His voice was soft and soothing. He shifted slightly behind her, causing her to suck in a breath in fright and cling harder to her handholds.
”TJ, y’ve got to listen to me. Ya wouldn’t have fallen even if Remy weren’t here – y’ still had your other foothold, and two good handholds.” He eased off the pressure a little more, swinging one of his long legs between hers. “Just lean back on Remy a little, a rest a bit.”
Nodding, she rested her buttocks back against his leg, bringing her skinned toe up to the ledge. She was trembling like a leaf, sweat slicking down her sides.
“Now, look over ‘dere.” Remy instructed. “Only one more step and y’can reach de ivy. ‘Den its easy as climbing a ladder.” He leaned his face against the side of hers “Y’can do it, Chere.”
Sucking in a shaky breath TJ braced herself, taking her weight back onto her toes and arms. The muscles in her upper arms and thighs were burning with the unaccustomed strain of the work, but she grit her teeth in determination and leaned close into the brickwork – fingers reaching for the next handhold.
Sliding quickly down the rest of the ledge she struck her hand out, grasping a thick vine. She let her breath out in a whoosh, and scrambled onto the ivy, twining her limbs into the overlapping branches and taking deep sweet breaths of relief, the earthy smell of crushed leaves thick around her.
“’Dat’s my girl” Remy’s face was close to hers smiling at her, placing a gentle kiss to her brow.
“You are an asshole.” TJ spat back at him.
Remy laughed. “Mebbe so Chere, but I didn’t let y’fall. Y’ready to climb, or do y’want to wait a bit more?”
TJ narrowed her eyes at him. “I’m good.” She matched actions to words and reached above her head for the next vine, hauling herself up a few feet. She paused looking over her shoulder at him. “Aren’t you coming?”
Remy grinned at her. “Sure Chere, but Remy don’ want to risk having his weight on the ivy too.” He flexed his shoulders, and stretched his neck from side to side, before crouching very slightly on the ledge, springing up, hands and feet somehow finding holds as easily as he was climbing a set of stairs.
TJ’s mouth dropped open slightly before she caught herself. “What are you - a fucking monkey?” She continued climbing up after him, pressing in an attempt to pass him. Remy slid a glance out of the corner of his red on black eye at her, smirked, and just kept scampering up the wall.
Soon enough, he reached the top and heaved his body over, and reached a hand down for hers. TJ reached up with her right hand, and felt him drag her over the top. She laid there for a minute, half propped up on her bag, heaving deep breaths of relief.
****************
Remy sat watching TJ pant away with her eyes closed. The sweat had soaked into her thin shirt which clung in a way to leave very little to the imagination. Man that girl was fine, with her long sleekly muscled limbs, sweetly rounded hips tapering to a thin waist. And her breasts….
TJ’s eyes popped open and looked at him. As he was leering at her breasts. Perfect. She sat up and quickly scooted away from the edge of the roof, dragging her bag behind her.
Remy swung his rucksack off his shoulder and began to rummage around in the bottom of it, bringing out a thick blanket. “Here Chere, he said, standing up and casually crossing the tiles to spread the blanket out over the roof. Dis be a bit nicer to sit on.”
She settled herself on the blanket and looked up at him. “So what’s with the amazing spiderman routine?”
Flopping down beside her, Remy pulled off his tight leather gloves before rummaging in his rucksack again, pulling out the small plastic bag and some papers. He shook out a generous amount of the leafy green material out of the baggie onto the small white paper, licking one end of it and deftly rolling it into a twist. Stowing away the surplus in his rucksack again, he sparked the joint alight with one finger, sucked on it to get it fully lit and then passed it to TJ.
He watched her suck blissfully on it, her eyes closing to slits as she slowly relaxed, blowing the smoke out daintily through pursed lips. She slid her amber gaze towards him again. “So…?”
Remy took a brief turn with the joint, passing it back, blowing the smoke out his nostrils. “So what? How come Remy can climb walls?” He shrugged. “Got good at it, cause Remy had to. Most what people have is behind dem.”
TJ frowned at him. “You mean…you climbed walls to get stuff…to steal?” she finished in disbelief.
“Oui.” He fiddled with the straps of his pack, trying to choose the words that would help her understand without making him seem too pathetic. “It was a way to live. Remy never took from people dat couldn’t afford to miss some…” He huffed out a breath in frustration. “Remy was too young for a job, but still had an empty belly. An’ Remy got good at it…and it was just easy to keep doin’ it.”
“What about your parents?”
Remy snorted. “’de din’ care what Remy did. Or if ‘dere was food in de house. So Remy took care of his-self.”
TJ reached out a hand and placed it on his knee. She was at a bit of a loss for words hearing this, almost feeling selfish for making such a big deal about her whole parental mess. She guessed it was better having too many parents, than none at all. “Sometimes parent’s suck..”
Remy smiled at her, placing his hand over her own. “It not be all bad Chere. N’awleans is one hell of a place to party, and withou’ the parents – you can certainly do ‘dat.” He started rummaging in the rucksack again. “Speakin’ of which.” He brought out a large amber bottle and offered it to her, returning back to his pack bringing out another assortment of items.
“And this is…” TJ looked over at the pile forming on the blanket. “Oh no, Remy, I am NOT drinking tequila.”
Grinning, Remy took the bottle back and poured a healthy amount into two glasses that sat by his feet. “Well it ain’t much of a party withou’ you Chere.” He looked up at her, arching a brow. “What y’got against tequila anyhow?”
TJ grimaced. “Aside from the fact that the last time I drank it I spent the hours between 1 am and 4 am vomiting it back up?.” She took one glass, swirling the fluid around in it before wafting it under her nose, snorting at the strong smell. “I really don’t want a repeat of that.”
“Well, for one thin’ Chere, I don’ think you’ll be drinkin’ dat much again for a while.” He took the joint from her hand, pulling one final drag off of it, before snuffing it out on the roof. Scooping up the salt, he shook the container in front of her. “an ‘de other thin’ is that it be one helluva fun shot to do.” He caught her gaze and held it as he took one of her hands in his, turned it over and pulled it close to his face. He breathed on her pulse point, and then nibbled gently at it, before taking one deliberate slow lick up her wrist. Still holding her gaze, he dribbled a bit of salt on it, lapped it up and then shot the contents of his glass home, before popping the lemon wedge in his mouth. Sucking it dry he tossed it casually to the side and returned his boyish grin to her.
