Summary: Logan runs away again after the funeral of Jean and leave a heartbroken Marie and comes back just in time 2 years later to see Marie perform for the School’s talent show.
A/N: Marie has already absorbed Ms. Marvel and her hair and eyes have changed. But Logan doesn’t know. Also there will be a love scene in the next chapters. Otherwise this wouldn’t be NC-17.

8 Days after Jean’s death and a certain man with claws is facing Mississippi anger. And was not enjoying it.
“Now Marie listen to me you don’t need me here.” Another book was thrown at his head.
“Rogue Please...” Logan pleaded.
“NO! No, not this time Logan. Ya’ already broke ya’ promise once and now ya’ gonna do it again? And what is with tha’ Rogue shit. What isn’t ma’ name good enough? Tha’ you have ta’ use tha’ on me? It’s still all about Jean isn’t it?”
“Well WOLVERINE, you can go ta’ hell. I don’ need ya’ and ya’ stink’n promise. Because it seems that you have yet to even keep it. Because ya’ still too stuck on her.”
Rogue’s body shook with suppressed rage. ‘Why Sugar, why?’
“You have to face it Logan, when it all comes down to it you never had her heart but you haven’t lost mine.”
Silence was all she heard and it only made her angrier. This time she didn’t miss.
“No, you’re just a stupid kid.” Logan growled holding the thrown book in his hand not looking at the torn woman in front of him. Wishing to take his words back. But still stood silent.
“Then I guess this is good bye.” With one last look at his stony face. Marie walked out of his door and out of his life.
