Tai looked around his room and sighed. There was nothing to do and for him that wasn’t a good thing. Tai perched in his window dressed in a pair of sweat pants and wondered why he was born with his powers. Remy LeBeau walked by his open door and stopped to watch Tai as his tail flicked lazily back and forth. Remy had wanted to run his fingers through Tai’s hair and over his smooth pale skin ever since he first saw him. Tai looked up and caught the tail end of Remy’s coat pass his door. ‘I wonder what he wanted.’ Tai shrugged then crawled out the window and down the side of the house. Once on the ground Tai headed for the small forest on the northeast end of the school. He had decided to work on his hunting skills so the next time he had a session with Logan he would be prepared for anything.
Remy walked through the house a little board. He wanted to talk with Tai but was a little unsure. When he had first come to the mansion nobody trusted him because he had worked for Magneto. The professor had given him his own room. Remy was seen as a potential danger to the other students, but it was really the other way around. He wished he could go back to the bayou but sadly he could not. All of his friends there had moved and he couldn’t locate any of them.

Chi had woken up when Tai left the house. She sat up and looked around. [Tai where are you going?] She thought to her self. Chi looked at her roommate and sighed. Kitty was up dressed and almost ready for school. Chi got outta bed stretched walked into the bathroom that she and Kitty shared, and took a shower. She came out in her underwear and was drying her hair with a towel.
“Hey Chi are you coming to school today?” Kitty asked.
Chi nodded then went to get dressed. She had just put on a small t-shirt that said ‘100% DEVIL!’ and was bent over looking for a pair of black pants when Kurt bamfed into the room.
“KURT! Get out!” Kitty screeched.
Kurt bamfed out and was on the other side of the door. She pulled out a pair with zippers, and chains all over them. Chi put on her pants and pulled on a pair of wristbands, she opened the door and brushed past Kurt.
“Not cool Blue. So not cool.” She said on her way down to the kitchen.
In the kitchen she found Gambit, and he didn’t look too happy.
“Bon jour monsieur LeBeau. Ca va?” Chi inquired.
Remy looked up and smiled at her.
“Ah bon jour ma petite copine. Je suis bien! Ah mus say cheir y’re getten betta wit ‘dis French.” He replied.
Chi smiled.
“Merci Remy but I must ask you something?”
“What is dat?”
Before she could ask Kurt bamfed into the kitchen and was perched on the table.
“Later alright now I’m gonna be late for school.” She said.
Kurt smirked.
“You’d be late if you walked but I can get you there quicker.” He said.
“Give me a second and then we can go.” Chi said as she ran for the stairs.
She wrote a quick note for her brother, shoved it under his door then ran back for her watch. She came down stairs ten minutes later and grabbed the lunch she had made earlier that week. Chi pushed a button on her watch grabbed her bag on the way to the front door, touched Kurt’s arm and they bamfed to the school. Chi let go of Kurt ran to her locker and put away her books. She had just walked into class when the bell rang for class to begin.

Tai was out on the grounds and was closing in on his bobcat. He found another scent he had never smelled before and a faint one that was. Tai took to the trees and followed the scent. He found a young girl about thirteen and she was unconscious. He dropped out of the trees next to her and checked for a pulse, all the while aware of his surroundings. He carried the girl back to the mansion and went straight for the Professor’s room.
“Sir what are we going to do with her we cant just put her back out there for someone else to find that would be wrong.”
“But kid we don’t even know if she is a mutant.” Logan said.
Before the professor could say anything Tai motioned for silence. He jumped on to the ceiling and brought something down with him. Tai grabbed a hold of its throat and snarled.
“Who do you work for?” The girl he had found in the woods appeared.
“I work for Magneto. He told me to find the professor and kill him for all ways messing up our plans to rule over the humans.” She snarled.
“Well Cammie the chameleon go back to your leader a failure. Oh and don’t ever let me catch your scent within two hundred miles from here or I will kill you.” Tai hissed quietly.

Chi was perched in one of the trees on the school campus reading her English book during lunch.
“But Evan how do I get her to like me? So far she hates my guts and if she doesn’t like me then her brother is gonna kill me when he finds out. You know how close they are.” Kurt whined.
“Yo man if you like her be yourself, but tone it down. Not all girls are like Kitty and love to be smothered. Oh and Kurt go get her brothers blessing. If he’s ok with it then you wont have to worry to much.” Evan stated.
Chi had to smother a giggle. They walked away and Chi smiled to herself she couldn’t believe that someone liked her. Usually all the guys she liked ended up liking her twin and that would be something she never understood. Chi jumped out of her tree and headed off to her English class. She had a hard time paying attention because she was to busy thinking about how she was gonna tease Kurt. Chi looked up form her desk and caught Rogue staring at her. Rogue nodded towards the teacher who was glaring at her.
"Ms. Her I suggest that you pay attention because I’m not going to repeat any of this again."
“Sorry sir. Please go on with your lecture.” She said.

Tai walked around the empty living room. He was so wrapped up in his thoughts that he hadn’t noticed Gambit come down and sit on the bottom of the stairs.
“Hey homme if you keep dat up ther’s gonna be a hole in dat flo.” Remy said.
Tai stopped and looked at him.
“What do you want?” Tai asked quietly.
Remy pulled out a pack of cigarettes and offered one to Tai. He took one and got a light from Gambit. They sat in comfortable silence.
“You looked a bit uptight an ah was jus tinkin ah could help or some’ting. Das all.” Remy replied.
Tai sighed and perched on the back of the couch.
“Well I let someone in the mansion who I thought needed our help but it turns out that she was working for your old boss Magneto. I bet Logan’s gonna beat me real good come the next training session.” Tai stated.
Remy studied the young man in front of him. To him Tai was such a complex puzzle; he never knew what the kid would do next.
“Well da way ah see it you was only doin what y’ thought was right.” He said.
