Chapter 9
Dr Henry McCoy pretended to be reading the book he held in front of him. They had been sent on a wild goose chase, just as Logan had said. Logan was angry, but what was new. He was always angry lately. Hank understood the other man's frustration. He was in love with someone he couldn't have, or so he kept telling himself. Hank snorted.
They had run all over the island when he had caught a scent, but it was like it had just vanished. It was so faint that even Hank couldn't catch it.
"The scent screams mutant," he had said. "It's screaming Sabretooth." He had been right. Beast wondered if this wasn’t a ploy to get Logan away from the mansion for some reason. He also wondered if Logan thought the same thing. Hank glanced over to where Logan sat. His was bouncing his leg and flexing his fists. If the man wasn't careful he was going to release his claws and then they would have a panic on their hands. He had been antsy since they had boarded the flight to return home. His temper was volatile enough that he was extremely unpredictable, but this was off the charts.
Hank looked back at the book in his hands and then back up at Bobby. Bobby was listening to his MP3 player, slowly moving his body in time with the music. The music was loud enough that anyone without hyper senses would be able to hear it. Hank laid his head back against the head rest as he closed the book and lay it in his lap. His thoughts returned to the Professor and everyone back at the mansion.
The Professor had contacted them to return when they were boarding the plane. He wished he knew what was going on at the mansion, but Charles didn't want the alarm them. He'd said all would be explained when they arrived. His words had done nothing, but make Logan more aggravated. He had a sinking feeling that everything had something to do with Jubilee.
He sighed and settled more into his seat. The plane ride wouldn't take long, but so far it seemed like an eternity had passed since they'd taken off.

Sabretooth took a cigarette from a pack sitting on the table and lit it with his Zippo lighter. He took a long, deep pull and blew it out in rings; all the while staring at Jubilee. She was still unconscious and still half naked. He could almost understand the runt's fascination with her. She has a beautiful body. he skin was soft and would be easy to rip his claws through when the time came. He had never stayed hard this long for such a long while. He had already cum three times with masturbation, but hadn't lost his tumescence.
She moaned, but remained unconscious. He noticed trails of blood beginning from her wrists, running in rivulets down her arms to her elbows. He struggles earlier had caused the hand cuffs to cut into the skin of her wrists. They weren't deep wounds, but personally he could care less. He stubbed the half smoked cigarette out on the table top. Leaning back in the chair, he stretched his legs out, crossing them at the ankles. He clasped his hands behind his head and continued to stare at her.
Her breathing pattern had changed from deep, even breathing to shallow, rapid breaths. She was awake, but pretending to still be unconscious. he decided to play around with her. Taking another cigarette out of the pack, he lit it and stood up. Walking over to her, he stood facing her; his eyes even with her breasts. Her breathing became more rapid, shallower. He smiled openly, showing his fangs. He sniffed the air and threw his had back and laughed at the fear he smelled. Her fear tangible enough to taste; he licked his lips and smacked them together, giggling.
Raising his hands, he lightly skimmed them down the front of her body, stopping at the hem of her t-shirt where her stomach was exposed. He lightly raked his claws down the skin, stopping only when he reached the waist band of her panties. Her skin shivered in reaction to the touch, but she said, "Get your fucking claws off of me, you Charles Manson reject." She kicked out with her feet, but he easily stepped back before she could make contact.
She grimaced at the pain that spread through her arms from her wrists. Sabretooth laughed at her, smoke leaving his mouth with each exhalation of breath. "Oh, that's nice, frail. Keep fightin'. I like it when you fight." His smile turned from amused to evil and he licked the front of his teeth, saliva dripping. Jubilee let her body go limp and just hang there. If a fight was what he wanted, she wasn't going to give him the satisfaction.
He frowned when she stopped fighting. He returned his hands and claws to her sides and, squeezing, lifted her up and off the hook in the ceiling. He carried her to the bed and threw her on it.

Rogue opened the top drawer of Jubilee's dresser and found nothing but lacy underwear. "I feel so wrong doin' this. Ain't right, but we gotta find the girl." Rogue moved the lacy material around searching for anything that could possibly be a clue to Jubilee's disappearance. Doing a cursory look through the other drawers, she came up empty handed. She moved over to the vanity and saw nothing at first glance. As she got closer to the vanity, she saw the corner of a piece of paper sticking out of one of the jewelry drawers. She pulled the paper out without opening the drawer. It was a small sheet, folded in half. Opening the paper, she read the words written in a messy scrawl.
Meet me. Hidden cave.
It was unsigned. Rogue squealed and darted from the room, running at full speed.
"What is the matter, Rogue," the Professor asked her with his telepathy.
"I'm on my way, Prof," she answered out loud.
As she arrived at the Danger Room, Rogue was met by the Professor, Scott and Ororo. She handed the note over to Charles, who then passed it off to Scott after reading it. "What do ya s'pose it means, Professor," Rogue asked.
"I'm not sure, Rogue. What hidden cave?" He rubbed his chin as he so often did when he was deep in thought. Ororo read the note over Scott's shoulder.
"Pardon me for stating so obvious a fact, but that isn't Logan's handwriting. And what hidden cave?"
"I don't know, Storm," Scott replied. He looked around the room and his gaze found Jean's.
"What is it, Scott?"
"Do you know of a hidden cave anywhere on the property?"
She laughed. "No, why?" He motioned her over to them and handed her the note when she arrived. She read it and frowned. "The only thing that is left to do is ask Logan when he arrives." She frowned as a thought occurred to her. "If Jubilee thought this was from Logan, the question that begs asking is what has been going on at this cave for her to be so ready to meet him?"
Storm snorted. Everyone, including the Professor looked at her. "After this mornings events, you still have to ask that question?" She turned from them, not waiting for an answer, and walked to the front of the assembly hall.
