Chapter Nine
A/N: Someone wanna shoot me? Put the whole world outta its misery? Believe me, everyone hates me. No takers? No? Please? Dammit. Fine, then. I guess I’ll write more. Also, I’m sorry for chickening out last chapter over the lemon. I can’t write ‘em that good. No lemon in this chapter, either. If anyone can give me any suggestions, e-mail me! lelianerelohmiel@yahoo.com Thank you.
Logan led Scott outside. There was no sun; it had already set. Logan cursed his luck, then changed his mind and blessed it instead. His luck had brought him Scott.
Scott walked where Logan led, not really caring if he ended up in water. He was too high to care. It was a good feeling, something Jean had never been able to provide him with. He settled in to this euphoria and let it take him where it, and Logan, would.
Logan looked at Scott, his. . .well, you couldn’t exactly call him a lover, could ya? Boyfriend, then. He seemed happier than Logan had ever seen him, as though all the cares he’d carried ever since they’d met had been lifted, if only for a time. He smiled.
Scott smiled back. He couldn’t help giggling; the euphoric feeling was taking over. Before long he had gone into gales of laughter, and even got Logan chuckling. He only stopped when it became hard to breathe.
Logan sat down and pulled Scott into his lap. “What was that about?”
Scott shrugged. “I don’t know,” he admitted. “I just feel so happy right now. It’s something you do. Jean never made me feel like this.”
Logan grinned. “I’m glad I’m already beatin’ Jeannie at somethin’.”
“Logan. . .”
“I’m kiddin’, Cyke.”
“Any chance you’re going to use my name now?”
“If you really want me to, I will.”
“No, it’s all right. It’s part of us.”
“Yeah. You can call me. . .Tin Man or whatever if ya want.”
“Nah, I like Logan.”
“Don’t worry. In the. . .heat of the moment, you’ll hear Scott.”
“Good.”
Logan wrapped his arms around Scott and they leaned back, looking at the stars. “Know anythin’ about ‘em, One-Eye?”
“Sure.”
“Tell me?”
“What do you wanna know?”
They spent the rest oe nie night conversing about the stars, happy that they were together.
A/N: Damn, it’s short again. I’m sorry! As I said before, help with the lemon!! Interested? E-mail me @ the address above. Thanks!!!!
