Girl talk
My dad is home from the hospital!! Yay! For those of you who don’t know (which is all of you probably) my father is terminally ill (cancer has spread through his entire body practically) and its great to have him home for the few months he will get to stay with us. Anyways, on with the chapter.
After a very long trip to the kitchen to smuggle back up some chips and pop, we settle on Kitty’s bed to chat.
After an uneasy silence, Kitty spills out what she obviously wanted to say, “Kurt and I had sex tonight.”
Ah choke on some of mah sprite before glaring at her. She chuckles nervously, “I’m guessing you don’t want to hear about it?”
Ah roll mah eyes and ruffle her hair, inwardly cringing at the mental image, “Go ahead, Ah know you are dying to let it out.”
She smiles gratefully and begins, “We were taking a walk on the grounds this afternoon when he like decides he really needed to tell me something. He teleported us to his room and locked the door. We talked about little things for a few minutes and he blurts out that he loves me. I told him how I’ve felt about him and then we started to kiss which led to other things and it just happened. Oh Rogue, it was so much more than I expected. The way girls would go on about it at school I figured I shouldn’t set myself up for a fall but what we shared was so special. Afterwards we talked some more and cuddled. Rogue I really do love him, more than what I thought. Do I get your approval?”
Ah smile despite mahself and nod, “Kitty, I want you to be happy. If Kurt makes you as happy as you make him then I say you two are perfect for each other.”
She seems really shocked by my words but grins, “Thank you Rogue. It really means a lot to me.” She sniffles a few times before hugging me tightly. “Just, don’t let the rest of the house know yet, ok? We are trying to think of a good way to tell people we are together.”
“Ah won’t say anything, its your place to snot not mine.” Ah pause for a moment and lay back on her bed, letting thoughts roam before finally saying, “You are so lucky… being able to touch is something so simple people never think of and take for granted. Ah don’t know what will happen in the future, but right now its nearly impossible for me. Other than a few kisses from Remy, that’s all Ah think Ah will ever feel.”
Kitty gasps and shrieks, “WHAT!?!?!?!”
Ah wince and realize Ah never told her what happened. Ah get up and go to mah bed, pulling out the box containing the scarf. Ah pull it out and hand it over to her. She looks over the scarf before saying, “Its like, so gorgeous and totally you Rogue.”
Ah nod and blush slightly, “You don’t know what he did with it… It kept me from absorbing him, Ah was able to feel him kissing me though. It was amazing.”
Her jaw practically drops and she exclaims, “When did this happen?”
“Four nights ago.”
“Four days?? How could you not tell me!?!
“W
“We haven’t talked since then and Ah didn’t want to say anything over something so trivial.”
“Trivial?? This is like your big chance to touch! Especially someone as cute as Remy!”
“Ah dunno Kitty, Ah haven’t even talked to him since then.”
“Well you are going to go talk to him, like right now!”
“Ah don’t wanna!”
“You sound like a five year old, you are going to go because I know you Rogue and you want answers ash ash as I want to hear all the juicy details!”
Ah laugh at her and admit, “Ok, so Ah admit Ah have wanted to talk to him about what happened.”
“See? Then you totally need to go.”
“Alright, Ah’ll go.”
Ah get up and walk determined to the door until Kitty calls for me, “Hey Rogue.”
“Hmm?”
She tosses me the scarf, giggling, “Take this, you might need it.”
Ah blush and don’t answer, walking out the door and heading straight for a certain Swamp Rat’s room.
