"What do you Mean She is coming here? Chuck you can't do this. The Kid never got over losing his family. If you bring in this sister he might completely shut himself off! " Logan said in a very loud growling tone as he puffed away on his cigar.

The Professor was rubbing his temples. This constant yelling from Logan and Rogue had been going on for almost 20 minutes. Storm had even broke into the "conversation" In the last few minutes. Telling them to keep it down that they where scaring the younger students. It had been two days since He told Rogue Matthew's Sister was coming. How they had managed to keep it a secret was in no small part thanks to his abilities.

"SILENCE! I will not be talked to like I am some ignorant twit. I know full well what This means for both of them. But I cannot I will not turn away a child in need of Help! Rogue I ask that you Find Matthew and Inform him of the situation. I fell he will accept it if it come from you. Logan I want you to get one of the spare rooms ready. She will be here Tonight and I want her to feel at home as soon as possible. Now leave me alone...and tell Hank to bring me Some Aspirin." Xavier said rubbing his temples.

Rogue found herself drawing out her search or Matthew as long as she could. Mostly because of the fact she couldn't think of a way to tell Her new friend the situation that wouldn't end with the whole mansion being trashed.

*Is he my friend? Or my boyfriend... GAAHHH! I don't know. After all that has happened I don't want to trust him anymore. But he looked so Sad When I told him he scarred me. I almost cried. Why the hell does he make me cry? I didn't even cry when my damn cat died. Hell Remy treated me like shit when we were going out and I still never cried. God I think he meant what he said. He doesn't care if he can touch me or not he just want to be with me. Jean said he does love me. She would never lie to me. Why the hell do I keep trying to kid myself into thinking he just wants to fuck me and throw me out like trash. He said he would do anything to protect me..He nearly killed Sabertooth for threatening me....Oh my God he kicked Sabertooth's ass. For me FOR ME! Sabertooth would have killed me without a second thought if Matthew was not there. He would not even let him up because he knew how fast Sabertooth can recover. My God He keeps Saving my ass and I keep chewing him out....I am such a bitch..Shit there he is. Suck it Up Marie be nice and ease into telling him* Rogue thought when she finally saw Matthew coming out of his room.

"Hey Matt You doing allright today?" Rogue asked walking up to him

*Whoa that sound like so out of character for me.. stopping thinking like Kitty talks its creepy* She thought to herself

'Yeah I am OK......Um I got a present for you. Come with me. " Matthew said motioning for her to follow him.

*I swear if it involves latex and lube I am going to kick him in the nuts till they burst* Rogue thought as she followed him.

"Sure, OK what is it?" Rogue asked

"It would not be a surprise if I just told you right off the bat sit on the bed and wait its a couple of things really."

Matthew said as they entered his room. Bags from his earlier visit to the mall all over the floor as well as a few CD cases. Rogue walked over to his bed and sat down crossing her legs as Matthew went to his Bathroom.

*God Kurt if you made me get the wrong gift I am going to tie you down and wax every inch of your body real SLOW.....ew that sounded almost homosexual in nature...oh well maybe I should give Kitty that one to use for later.. OK here they are! * Matthew thought digging through more bags in his bathroom.

Matthew Walked out with two boxes in his hand Both wrapped in black with green bows. Rogue put on a fake smile then sighed.

* I am going to have to tell him later I hate gifts......really hate gifts almost as much as parties. But since he got them I might as well take them. * She thought looking at the two boxes.

"OK go ahead pick one and open it." Matthew said holding them out for her.


Rogue reached out and took the smallest box first. A blank look on her face as she slowly opened the inner box. The Blank expression shattering in a large smile.


"This is fucking cool!" Rogue said smiling


"Thanks I spent the whole time I was at the mall trying to figure out what to get you."
Matthew said smiling and sighing with relief.


Inside the box a gold necklace with a golden bat pendant it's emerald eyes and black onyx mouth staring out to Rogue.

* Oh my God I am getting all swoony again. I guess giving me nice things does work ..sly bastard* Rogue though as she found herself with a big grin and a flush in her cheeks as she put on the necklace. Which fit her neck perfectly.

"Come on open up the next one!" Matthew said holding out the other box.

Rogue reached out to grab the next box it's weight catching her off guard as she placed it on her lap and tore away it's wrappings.

. *Shit .... if he is trying to get me to like him more it sure is working. I am so shallow...No I am not he put a lot of thought into this. it is kind of sweet. He was gone with Kurt all day he must have badgered the hell out of the little guy to fess up what I liked. * Rogue thought as she saw the contents of the box.

Rogue reached into the box and Pulled out a long black leather trenchcoat with green flames on the sleeves. Under that was a matching pair of shoes and pants. The look of excitement and disbelief on her face as she looked at these very expensive set of clothes.

"Why did you get me all this." Rogue asked looking up to Matthew with a strange look on her face.

* Not even my foster parents gave me things like this...Hell he has known me for a week and he is already buying me all kinds of shit. Crazy bastard. * Rogue thought to herself as she asked him.


"I don't Know I just did. I guess it was one of those spur of the moment deals." Matthew said with a smirk while scratching the back of his neck.


"How did you know my size? I mean these are some real nice clothes. I don't think I got anything in my whole closet that cost as much as this. I hope they are the right size. can they still be taken back without the tags?" Rogue asked looking over the cloths and rambling.


Matthew Laughed and sat next to her on the bed.

"I asked Jean and Kitty for your size. Jean only knew your shoe size because she wore one of your pair of boots to the Halloween dance at school. Kitty knew the rest because as she said herself "Like don't Tell Rogue or anything But I used to so sneak and try on her clothes when I got totally bored." Matthew said in his best Kitty impression.


"That's Why my clothes would sometimes smell likes strawberries ... Wait you asked them before you left? That don't sound like a spur of the moment to me you had this all planned out didn't ya?" Rogue said with a "Ha! Gotcha "look.

Matthew smiled and shook his head as Rogue raised a single brow and smirked.

"Oh, OK you got me. I had this planned since lastnight. The girls helped me out some but Kurt told me what Kind of clothes you liked. He said you been eyeing those clothes every time you go to the mall but never had the cash to get them." Matthew said still smiling.

"Yeah But how did you afford them? You don't even have a bank account." Rogue said folding up the clothes and sitting them back in the box.

"I begged the Professor for some of it and got the rest From Logan. He said anyone that makes Sabertooth scream like a girl can ask him for anything." Matthew said

* Keep out he also gave you a lot more than you needed because you helped him so much. * Matthew though


'Matthew I really don't know what to say I mean. This is real sweet of you but... I..." Rogue said finding herself at a loss of words


"Don't say anything. It is my way of saying sorry for making you cry so much. Oh I almost forgot! here! "

Matthew said jumping up and pulling out and envelope from his pocket and handing it to Rogue.

"Here!" Matthew said as he handed rogue the envelope


*God what is this a card it better not be a .......HOLY SHIT I LOVE HIM! * Rogue thought as she pulled out it's contents.


Rogue jumped off Matthew's bed and started jumping in place like the teenage girl she really was smiling like crazy as the excitement and joy of what was in the letter came over her. In her hand were two tickets and back stage passes to Ozzfest.


"HOW THE HELL DID YOU GET THESE?! It's been sold out for weeks!" Rogue asked when she had calmed down enough to do more than scream in excitement.


"I have my ways. So you like or what?" Matthew asked.

*ebay is so cool*He thought to himself.


"I LOVE!! .. Wait is this your way of asking me on a date?" Rogue asked.

*Because it sure is working..damn he is such a sly bastard* She thought to herself.


Matthew was now the one who was blushing. He suddenly found his shoe lace very interesting.

"Um...well...Yeah ...YES !"

Matthew said as he stood and took Rogue's Hand. She flinched still not being used to him touching her bare skin as his thumb brushed over the open back of her gloves.

"Rogue Would you like to go out with me this weekend? I hear there is this really great concert coming and I think we could have a great time," Matthew said in a rather nervous and shaky tone.


"Oh gee let me think on that. I just got showered with gifts and the chance to meet Ozzy. what should I say?.........." In a teasing tone of voice.


"Stop teasing come on!" Matthew said

Rogue Laughed and looked Matthew right in the eyes.

"I would be Happy to go.." Rogue said then got a weird look on her face.

"Oh and you can stop calling me Rogue. My name is Marie....just make sure no one else calls me that." Rogue said

* I feel like I forgot something...........oh SHIT! I can't tell him now he looks so happy. I can't damn wait till later she could be here any minute. Suck it up and tell him Before you lose your nerve...your already lost it FUCK! OK now. *

"Matt I gotta tell you something..You should sit down. Don't look at me like that its not about you and me!" Rogue said when a look of dread cracked Matthew's smile.

*God give me a heartattack will ya geez* Matthew though sitting down on the edge of his bed.


Rogue Sighed loudly and finally spoke not stopping or even taking a breath before she was finished.

"Don't get mad at me for ruining the mood but your sister is coming to stay here. She just turned thirteen and developed her mutant abilities during a fight at summer school."Rogue then took a deep breath

*Wait for it. wait for it here it comes he is going to snap and trash the whole mansion* Rogue thought as she braced herself for his outburst.

"I know......." Matthew said.


"You what?!"She asked looking up to Matthew.


"I said I know ." Matthew said his eyes wandering from Rogue's face to his door.

"How?" Rogue asked looking confused.

"Because she is standing in the doorway right now crying." Matthew said now turning to the Doorway.

Rogue turned to see a young girl standing in the doorway tears streaming down her cheeks. She was maybe four foot nine inches. Her short light blonde accented with a few streaks of white. Her pale gray skin flushed with red on her tear soaked face as the streams of tears fell from her pure black eyes. Besides the tears on her face there were many bruises and cuts on her lips and around her eyes.

* Hmm guess that look runs in the family. Why isn't he pissed? Maybe he is hiding it so he won't frighten her. Someone really worked her over good... * Rogue thought as she looked over the small girl.


"Hey Cindy." Matthew said a small hint of suppressed anger and sadness lacing his words.


"Hey Matt.. " Cindy said cleaning her face with her shirt sleeve.


"How you been ?" Matthew asked

"Turned into a mutant and trashed my classroom, you?" Cindy asked walking into the room just a little


"Got thrown from another reality in to this one." Matthew said


"Who's she?" Cindy asked looking to Rogue

"My girlfriend." Matthew said. something that would have made him smile among other things if he wasn't trying his best not to lose his mind.

"Mama always said you liked Goth chicks....." Cindy said

"Yeah only this one said more than fuck off to me." Matthew said

*He just called me his girlfriend. I am going to have to talk to him about that later. Maybe after he recovers from this massive emotional trauma. He likes Goth chicks?...Duh He sure as hell likes you and you are the biggest damn Goth in town besides Wanda..Wonder if he ever dresses Goth. wait he was wearing all black when I found him. He doesn't even need the make up just put on some glasses and he will not even be looked at twice at the concert. Wait will we still be going? I hope so. damn I am so selfish here he is with his sister who has been dead to him for three years talking to him. And I am worrying about our first date...oh my God I got asked on a date! Oh they are hugging. Is he crying? Great now I am going to cry. * Rogue thought as the two siblings embraced each other.

Logan was putting Cindy's clothes in her room while listening to what was happening around the house. Picking out what he wanted to listen to and what he did not want to hear. Like Amara screaming at Bobby for freezing her bed into a solid block of ice again. Cindy had went out for a walk with Her Brother and Rogue around the grounds a little over ten minutes ago. As Logan Was putting things away he was deep in thought over everything that had Happened since their new student Arrived.

* I Can't Believe he talked me into flying halfway across the state in the blackbird to pickup those tickets. He sure did spend a lot of Money trying to Cheer Rogue up. I think I cracked to fast. Should have made him repaint the blackbird for the Money. Hell you know you would have given it to him even if he had not handed Sabertooth his ass. He helped you more than anyone. Damn This is beyond fucked up. It is like one of those damn teen dramas Kitty watches..What was it called..Oh Yeah Buffy. I can't believe she got me to watch that shit. Had nice Fights though. Girl was hot but to skinny for my taste. I wonder what His World is like. Maybe I should ask him sometime. I can't Believe Rogue didn't cuss him out. She hates gifts. and dates. I still remember how mad she got when we all got her gifts for her first Christmas here. It took so long to bring her out of her shell to trust us. And Here is Some guy Who says he had a crush on a stupid cartoon version of her for crying out loud making her as the kids say "go all swoony" in just a matter of days. I can't believe he can touch her. Hell he called her his girlfriend without getting his ass kicked. He must be doing something right then. Maybe I should ask him for pointers. That look on Jamie's Face was priceless when Rahne confronted him about liking her. Damn All these kids are getting into a relationships. Hell Even Rogue..never thought I would see that after that whole Remy thing. I wonder what the hell is going to happen next...No I don't even want think how things could get worse. Scott is being such an immature asshole about all this. I swear if he complains about that kid one more time I am going to breaks his legs. Unless Matthew beats me too it* Logan thought as he was putting Cindy's things away in her room.

After Logan finished he went down to the kitchen and took a six pack from the fridge to the kitchen table. As he popped open the first beer he leaned back int he chair resting his feet on the table.


"Herr Logan may I speak with you?" Kurt's voice said following his trademark bamps and stench of brimstone which Made Logan snarl.

"Sure thing Elf what is it?" Logan said sitting his beer down.

*If he starts asking for some beer I'm gonna kill the little guy. No, he is not that stupid. Bobby might be but not the elf* Logan thought to himself

"Is it true Matthew Knows about all our history and future?" Kurt asked sitting on the other side of the table infront of Logan.

*Shit I should have known he was going to ask that. * Logan thought as he removed his feet from the table and moved the chair closer to the table.

"He says he does. He knew more about me than I did. Then again there is a lot more people out there that do than I want to think about right now. Why do you want to know anyway?" Logan asked.


"I don't know I been trying to decide something and I wanted to know if it would be for the best in the long run." Kurt said sounding very serious is normal carefree manner not showing at all.

"Elf listen. Chuck told Matthew not to give us any information unless it is a life or death type deal. You can go ask him if you want. But I don't know if he will give you the answer you want. If he even gives you one." Logan said.

"Ja Herr Logan I will ask him when he gets back.SO..How did his plan go with Rogue?" Kurt asked.


"Well, Elf l I think things are going to look a whole lot better to your sister soon. That boy has tried everything to get her to notice he likes her and I think this last stunt he pulled might have worked. She sure seemed to be in a better mood after they talked. I even think I saw her smile a couple of times." Logan said leaning back in the chair again.


"REALLY? That's great I am so happy I could help him! Did she say yes to the date?" Kurt said with a look of pure happiness as he grinned ear to ear and his tail started to sway around happily


"Yeah After jumping around like a kangaroo with a big grin on her face. Well, that's What Matthew said she did anyway when he gave her the tickets ." Logan said drinking his beer.

* I would have paid a million bux to see her do that. * Kurt thought with a laugh.

"She must have REALLY liked it then. I am going to go see if they are back inside yet. Thanks for letting me know Logan."Kurt said as he Hopped out of his chair and walked out of the room. His tail swinging from side to side happily.




"So you mean that there aren't even ghosts in your world?"

Cindy asked as the three young mutants walked around the back of the mansion.

"I didn't say that Cindy. I just said no supernatural beings. Like werewolves and vampires stuff like that....I think there are ghosts though" Matthew said they walked torwards the pool.

"There is no such thing as werewolves you big boob."

Cindy said as they stopping to sit around the pool. Rogue noticed Matthew seemed to be sneaking glances at her while talking to his sister.

*He can look at me all he wants I am not going to slap him. well not anymore anyway. Unless he pisses me off again Maybe I should tell her about Rahne's gift. OK lets tell her." Rogue thought as she caught Matthew looking to her for just a moment.

"Cindy did you meet Rahne yet?" Rogue asked Turning to Cindy

"Yeah She was nice. She has a cool accent too. Why do you ask?" Cindy replied smiling

"Well, See her power is she turns into a wolf. Or a half human type wolf. So I guess she is kind of a werewolf. Plus I read on some site that a guy hunts vampires in New York." (1) Rogue said streatching out beside the pool and crossing her legs.

" SHE CAN REALLY DO THAT!? THAT IS SO MUCH COOLER THAN WHAT I CAN DO! .. Wait What can you do?" Cindy asked Looking at Rogue.

* Damn it I hate having to explain this... Let's just hope she doesn't freak out* Rogue thought as she frowned for a moment before answering

"Well I absorbe peoples memeries and skill when we touch each others bare skin. If it's a mutant I get their powers for a while too. Only I can't control my power so I have be carefull around people or I could hurt them." Rogue said a look of sadness still on her face.

Cindy listened top Rogue talk then a look of confusion came overher face as She looked to Rogue then Matthew and back to Rogue again.

"But I saw you holding hands with Matt. He looks fine to me." Cindy said


"Well see that's the weird part. For some reason Only I can touch her. We found out a couple of days ago so it's still a little new to us. So anyway why don't ya tell us what you can do?" Matthew said in responce.

"I tell you what I can do when you tell me what you can do," Cindy said with a smug look on her face.

* I hate when she acts like that. She must be embarrassed about her powers. they can't be that bad..well not as bad as toad's. Those are just gross* Matthew thought


"Oh .. well .. See We aren't really sure what I can do. Well we know about some of the things I can do but not everything. I could still have some we don't know about." Matthew said

"Well, Just tell me the ones you know about then you big boob" Cindy said.

" Ok lets' see . I got super strenght, night vision,really tough skin and I can touch Marie without getting hurt. You should have at least known about some of these powers with your brother."

Matthew noticed Cindy was crying again. Rogue was frowning

"I don't because ....sniff. You .. he died before we had time to find out. That bald guy said your powers manifested to try and save you but you where to badly injured for them to help.........Why are you here? Is this some sick joke?" Cindy said covering her face as she started to cry harder.

* I guess she finally cracked. took longer than I thought* Rogue thought as she watched Cindy cry.


Matthew moved over to his sister and hugged her letting her rest her head on his shoulder as she cried and clinged to him tightly.

"Look I know I am not your real brother....and you are not the sister I grew up with. But if you let me I think we can try to be as close as family. Would you like to try that Cindy?" Matthew said hugging his sister trying to comfort her.

*He is acting so nice again. Just like he did with me. he is holding her like she is going to crumble away to dust. He must be so confused right now...I hope she stops crying or I am going to start to again." Rogue thought as she watched Matthew

"OK......I'll try.. I rot things..."Cindy said Letting go of Matthew and cleaning her face with her shirt sleeve.


"What?"the older mutants asked.

"When I touch stuff and focus I make things age till they turn to dust. I got dizzy at school and felt sick. Everyone started staring at me and I saw my hands where turning gray. One of the girls called me a freak and started to hit me...A bunch of the kids in class were screaming calling me a freak and I tried to push the girl who was hitting me off. When I touched her. her shirt just kind of rotted away. One of her friends started hitting me too. They pushed me into a wall and where kicking me. I tried to pull myself up on the wall and the whole room started to fall apart like in a time warp. That's the last thing I remember. When I woke Up mama and daddy had come to the office and I heard Daddy cussing out my teacher for letting me get beat up. he said he was going to sue the whole fucking school. Mama was yelling at the girl's father that had beaten me up. All hell was breaking lose. The teacher called daddy an asshole and you know how bad daddy is with his temper. He lost it and started beating up the teacher. The dad of the girl tried to hit daddy but mama kicked him in the nuts. They grabbed me and ran out as fast as they could. We drove for hours till we got to mom's sisters house in Charleston. That's When That bald guy called and said he could help. He would take care of the incident at school so we would not get in trouble.. I don't know how he did it though because when we got back home to pack no one seemed to even remember what happened. The rest I am sure that Guy Logan can tell you. He is creepy as hell. He is even more hairy than daddy is!" Cindy said topping of her long story with a light comedic observation

Rogue tried not to laugh but couldn't help herself as a burst of laughter escaped her lips moments before Matthew started laughing as well.


"What? It is not funny! My week has sucked so bad. Why are you two laughing at me?" Cindy said pouting.


"We are not laughing at you. We just thought what you said about Logan is funny." Rogue said through her laughter.

Matthew Managed to calm himself enough to speak again.

"That bald guy as you call him is Professor Charles Xavier. He runs this school. He's a mutant like the rest of the people here. He can read minds and if he has to control what people think. He doesn't like to control people unless he has to though.. I am guessing that he erased everyones memeory of what happened so Mom and Dad would be safe from mutant haters." Matthew said

"I am such a freak. Why can't I be normal like I used to be!"Cindy said with a mixture of sadness and anger.

Matthew Looked at her for a minute trying to think of something to say.


"Cindy listen to me. I haven't been a mutant long. But I know that you ain't a freak.You got a gift nota curse, It don't make you a freak or less than human. No matter what Normal people tell you remember that you're special. Personaly I think the only reason people act like they do is because deep down they're jealous of us. They mask it with rage and anger and want to hurt you for being better than they will ever be. They think we want to whip them out and make the world our own. What they dojn't know is their time is already over. We're the future of humanity. They can try and destroy us but more mutants are born every day. The normal humans are a dying breed. In a couple hundred years there will not be one single human left. Only Mutants. Only Us. And because we're better than them we will not let them destroy themselves trying to take care of the "mutant menace" So we fight. We fight for ourselves our future and for theirs even though they fear us we will protect them. Because we ARE better than they are." Matthew said supring himself and the other two people present as well.

The two girls were just staring at Matthew as he spoke. Both Shocked and dumbfounded. Where his words came from they did not know. Rogue thought to herself

* My God He sure has a way with words when he want to get a point across. I thought he was just going to try and make her feel better. He just broke down the whole mutant conflict in less than five minutes. Its creepy though for a minute I thought he was going to start to talk like Magneto saying we should destroy every human on the planet. I wonder what the professor would say about this. I am sure he heard him we are right outside his study. And Matthew does have a very deep voice. God is it sexy..stop that. You are still mad he said you are his girlfriend. I sure ain't in a hurry to tell him though* Rogue thought to herself a small smile forming on her face.

Logan And the Professor where listening to the three teenagers conversation just like Rogue thought they would be. Logan had a weird look on his face and the Professor was smiling.


"It seems I will not have to have that talk with Cindy after all."

The Professor said turning to Logan in his chair. The smile still on his face.

"Looks Like it Chuck. I wish Scott had heard this. Then Maybe he would get that stick out of his ass over all this...Sorry I didn't mean to say that," Logan said

*Yes I did* Logan thought to himself.

"I am a little worried about Scott's feelings towards Matthew as well. For the life of me I cannot figure out why He refuses to trust him" Xavier said with a sigh of frustration.

Logan growled "I think Scott is just pissed about what he did to Remy. Sure we all don't like the guy but what Matthew Did forced Magneto's hand. Putting all of us in danger. Just like Scott said. But Matthew Proved himself to the rest of the students When He took care of Sabertooth. Scott still does not trust him though" Logan said through a growl.

*God I am glad we got cameras everywhere I loved watching Sabertooth get his ass handed to him by that kid. I have to remember to thank Kitty for sending me that tape* Logan thought to himself


"I am sure in time he will earn Scott's trust as well but for now lets leave him be. It will do no good to try and reason with him when his mind is so set on not trusting Matthew." Xavier said before they left the room together


"He said what?" Scott said looking surprised.

"I am not going to repeat all that again Scott you heard me the first time dammit." Jubilee said in a harsh tone.

Jubilee was sitting in the rec room on the love seat. While Scott was playing a video game With Kurton the couch

"How the hell did you hear all this Jubes?"Scott asked turning back to Play the game.

'I told You I snuck out to go smoke and I saw him sitting with is sister and Rogue. I hid in the bushes so they wouldn't see me. Next thing I know He is giving a speech about Mutants like The Professor did when I first got here. I thought it was cool. First I thought he was just saying it to make her feel better. But the look on his face said he meant every word. If he really feels that way I can see why he wanted to join the team and not just hang around chasing Rogue." Jubilee said laying across the love seat her feet hanging off the end as she chewed her gum and watched the video game.

"Kurt you talked to him after they got back inside. What did he say to you?"Scott asked as he paused the game and turned to the blue mutant sitting next to him.

"Nothing really he was to busy planning this date with Rogue for me to get a word in." Kurt said taking a large gulp of his soda.

"She is going on a date with him?! Where are they going?"Jubilee asked jumping up and almost spitting her gum out she said it so fast.

"Ja He got some tickets and backstage passes for Ozzfest off ebay. That's where Herr Logan went in the blackbird. He went to go pick them up so they would be here in time for the concert. I have no idea how he talked Herr Logan into doing it.. Rogue seemed real Excited about going" Kurt said smiling from ear to ear as was Jubilee.

"They can't go to a fucking Concert! What if someone touches her? What if Magneto shows up and takes Rogue While Matthew is not looking?"Scott was angry "How the hell could he do something so stupid. He should know what happened the last time she went to a concert..We Nearly lost her to all the people she touched!" Scott said Jumping up and yelling

"That's just it Scott. He knows full well what could happen. He won't take his eyes off her the whole time and you know that. You also know if anyone tries to take her He Will take them out before they even get within ten feet of her. So get off your fucking high horse and trust the guy for once!" Kurt yelled cursing for the first time since he had come to the institute. His German accent coming on thick as he yelled.

Kurt's outburst shocked Scott More than it Did Jubilee. She knew he was happy for Rogue and Scott had just pushed the wrong button on the blue fuzzy elf.


"What the fuck is wrong with you Kurt?"Scott yelled back

Kurt had went into full on nightcrawler mode. His eyes were glowing and he was baring his fangs to Scott while he yelled and his tail was flying around violently. Everyone had gathered to see what was going on. They had all rushed in when Scott began screaming about the date. Matthew was just staring and Rogue Looked like she was ready to kick someone's ass. The two arguing teens did not even notice they were being watched.

Scott was backing away. He had never seen Kurt more Angry in all the years they had known each other.

*He is right. Why the hell am I doing this? He isn't a bad person he just does not know how to act when Someone Threatens Rogue. I don't know What I would have done if I was in his Shoes and it was Jean in danger. Yes, I do....I would do the exact same thing. * Scott said shaking his head in defet

"That's the problem Scott you never think! You go tell them Both you are sorry for the way you have been acting or I am going to Port you in front of a truck! And I fucking MEAN IT!" Kurt said Jabbing his finger into Scott's chest.


"Godamn OK OK just calm down before you burst something! I will tell them right now" Scott said backing away and turning tot he crowd.


"You don't need to Scott I ......we heard everything."Matthew said as he walked out of the crowd and stood right infront of Scott


*Shit if he decides he wants to hit me I am fucking dead. I saw what he did to sabertooth. No way I can handle him without my visor. * Scott thought as Matthew walked over.

"I accept your Apology. Just promise you will leave Rogue and I alone and let us have some peace. I respect you because if it was not for you Rogue Would still be in the brotherhood and I may never have gotten the chance to know her The way I do now." Matthew said towering over Scott with his arms crossed.

"Yeah I promise. If you promise to try and take more control of your anger."Scott said crossing his arms as well

Matthew held out his largehand.

"Lets Shake on this. make it official." Matthew said as he did this


Scott reached out and shook Matthew's Hand

*Damn he has a grip like a vice. Someone need to help him control his strength before he slips up in public.* Scott said as Matthew grabbed his hand a little to tightly for just a moment.

Matthew Leaned down putting his mouth to Scott's Ear.

"You know that question you been wanting to ask me? The answer is yes she is."

Matthew whispered in Scott's ear is loud deep voice becoming so soft not even Rahne could really make out what Matthew said.

"How .. How did you know I was thinking about that?" Scott whispered back looking shocked.

Matthew Smirked then whispered back

"Like everyone says.. I know a lot about all of you. Just trust me she's the one. You're meant to be together. So don't fuck it up." Matthew Whispered.
