SUMMARY: Storm, Jubilee and Kitty decide to help Rogue, and a new student causes mayhem


Chapter Six

Marie awoke slowly, stretching her arms above her head, looking very much like a smug cat.
“Hey Chica, how’s my girl this morning? Hope Wolvie didn’t keep you up too late with the lecture he was dying to give you.”
Laughing at her friend Jubilee, Marie’s face split into a very large grin.
“Oooh Cheshire cat Hun, what happened to cause this hey?”
“First off, where is Logan? I got something I want to tell you but I need Kitty here as well and no Logan.”
Marie winked at her friend and got a smug grin back.
“Ok Chica leave it to me, Big Blue has said you can go back to your room when you’re ready.”
“Big Blue?” Marie was confused then it clicked, of course the new Doctor!

Grinning like a fool at her friend, Marie asked, “you’re an idiot Jubes what is it with both you and Logan coming out with all these nicknames for people when they already have their own?”
“Ok, ok Chica, I’ll behave. First off Logan has gone back to his room for a shower then is headed for breakfast. Secondly Kitty is with our fearless leader who is in full anal mode and has some digging to do on the net, she should be done soon so by the time you are back in you’re room we can join you for what ever it is you have planned Chica.” With that Jubilee blew her friend a kiss accompanied with an evil grin then left the med lab.

One hour later in Marie’s room.

“Ok you two I know you want to hear all about this big secret I have, you will but I need you’re help with a plan I need to come up with concerning a certain person who I like.”
Marie was looking very smug at this point.
Both Kitty and Jubilee were looking at her with expectant expressions on their faces waiting for Rogue to spill her guts so to speak.
Grinning like a fool, Marie spoke up. “When I was in the med lab, I could hear everyone talking, the Professor, Hank and Logan.”
“And?” Kitty prompted her.
“Logan told me something and I quote ‘Come back to me, Marie, I love you.’”
With that bombshell dropped, Marie sat back to watch her friends face’s.
“OH MAH GAWD!” both screamed at the same time.
“You havta be shittin us right?” Jubes asked.
“Nu huh I’m deadly serious.”
“Holy fuck, you know what this means don’t you?” Jubes said.
“What?” Kitty asked.
“Rogue needs a whole new wardrobe for a start, isn’t it you’re birthday next week?” Jubes asked.
“Yeah, but what has that got to do with this?” Marie asked curiously.
“Simple Chica, by the time we have finished with you’re new TOUCHABLE wardrobe, got you new make up...”
Marie butted in, “what’s wrong with my make up?”
“Nothing Hun, lets just say that you need more variety. Also you need your hair styled and we want to get you new clothes so you can show some skin Chica!” Jubes told her.
“Oh, one other thing, I got this.” Jubes said as she waved the Professors credit card in the air. “We got permission for a shopping spree, I am under strict orders to get you everything a girl might need, and also we can get our dresses for your birthday bash Chica.”
Laughing together the three girls grabbed their coats and headed to the garage.
“Ok which car are we gonna take,” Jubes mused.
“How about I drive you to the mall, I could use some retail therapy.” Storm stood smiling by her BMW swinging her keys.
“Cool.” All three shouted and piled into Ro’s car and they headed for the mall.

As the four women hit the shops, Logan had gone looking for Marie, as he reached her door he got a call from Charles. {Logan, Scott needs your help on a pick up; the young man in question is in New Orleans and is running from a faction of assassins as far as I can tell. You need to hurry we will need this young mans expertise in future missions, Kurt will be joining you as well.}
Muttering under his breath, Logan spun on his heal and headed for the elevator.

Marie looked dubiously at the pair of trousers Storm held up.
“Are you sure? I’ve never worn leather before.” Marie questioned her choice.
“Trust me on this one Rogue, if you wear these you will have every single male in the mansion wanting to take you out.” Storm qualified.
“How do you think I snagged Kurt?”
The three younger women roared with laughter at this admission.
Whilst they were occupied with laughing so much, Storm grabbed a top from a rail at her side. The top looked more like a bra than anything else it was a deep red and the materiel plunged into a deep v over the stomach. “Come on Rogue, try these on, I promise that if you don’t like them we will get you something different, not so risqué.” Storm told her.
Marie went into the changing room and so totally missed the significant looks passed between Jubilee and Kitty.
Marie emerged to gasps from all three of her friends. “Oh Chica, you look good enough to eat, damn I knew I shoulda turned bi.”
Screams of laughter greeted Jubes who was still eying Rogue up and down. “Damn, were you poured into those trousers girly?”
The voice belonged to an elderly gentlemen who was looking at Rogue appreciatively. Grinning at the old man she replied, “Could have been, they are kinda tight.”
“You’re fella is gonna be so proud of you he’s gonna want to show you off, I own a bar down on the outskirts of Westchester called dumb don’s, you bring Yer fella in there an I’ll give ya a free drink, you sure made my day sweetie.”
With a wink to Marie the old man turned and left the store.
“Oh mah gawd, did that just happen?” Marie asked her friends who were all grinning at her. “Ok, that does it, I’m keeping this outfit, if I can get that kind of response Logan doesn’t stand a chance.”
With this the girls started to grab clothes from the rails, from minis to trousers in a mixture of materials. From leather to satin Marie ended up with a whole new wardrobe.

Four hours later, the women arrived back at the school with Marie still in the outfit picked out by Storm, just as the Blackbird lowered into the basketball court.
“I wonder where Scott’s been in the Blackbird.” Storm mused.
“Dunno, but I hope we have a new Student, the pickings are getting slim.” Kitty replied.
“Dibs I get first shot at him.” Jubes shouted over her shoulder as she raced into the mansion with Rogue laden down with bags of clothes.
“Hey no fair, you wanted to bang Rogue earlier!” Kitty shouted as she phased through the wall and bumped into Logan who was looking mightily pissed about something.
“Who wants to bang Rogue?” he growled at Kitty.
“Erm no one, it’s just a joke.” She squeaked as she turned and ran up the stairs heading towards Rogue’s room.
Glaring after the fleeing girl he didn’t notice Ororo as she came out of the garage. “Hello Logan, do you know why Scott took the Blackbird?” She enquired.
“Yeah we had a pick up to do that turned nasty, looks like the new student is gonna be a handful.” He retorted.
Smiling benignly at Logan, Ororo left to join Rogue in her room.

Remy left Professor Xavier’s office feeling miserable.
Belladonna had turned on him and had given the order for his assassination.
They had only been married 12 months but he thought they had pulled their respective guilds together.
Now he was a wanted man, all because in the act of picking a very delectable lady’s pocket he had kissed her as a distraction. How was he to know that Bella had sent her lackeys to watch him!
Mind you, he was a thief so it was his own fault really; nothing was supposed to escape his attention.
The boy who was assigned to show him his room was quite sullen, and apart from telling him his name was Bobby, he hadn’t said a word since.
As they approached the stairs, a vision appeared in front of them descending the afore mentioned stairs.
She was beautiful. Her hair was a rich auburn with two matching white streaks framing her face. She wore leather hipsters which, to be quite honest, looked like she had been pored into, a very small revealing top in a deep red with high heel boots to finish of the look.
“Ah tink Remy be seeing an angel, Chere.” Rushing up the stairs, Remy grabbed Rogue’s hand and kissed the inside of her wrist.

“Hey, no fair we had first dibs on the fresh meat.” Shouted Jubilee.
“But ma Chere, der be enough of Remy to go around non?”
As Remy turned his attention back to Rogue, he felt a hand on his shoulder.
“I don’t think so bub.” Logan told him with a grim face, “Rogue’s spoken for.”
With these words he took hold of Marie and dragged her back upstairs to his room.
All the young people on the stairs heard was his door slamming and Rogue’s shriek of surprise!
