Chapter 51

Okay, got a few more chapters to post. Thanks for reviewing.

Chapter 51

Mystique’s yellow eyes glowed with animosity, her body shifting into Sabertooth’s, clawed hands reaching out
and raking Logan’s flesh. Working her way behind, she shoved inside of him, pounding hard.

Then Sabertooth was Gambit, claws disappearing into well shaped hands that worked their way down Logan’s
body, stroking his cock to life until he felt he’d explode from the dual sensations.

Revulsion and desire warred within Logan, his body betraying him. A howl escaped his throat, boiling out of him
as he came.

“Logan!”

His claws snicked out, a growl rolling in his throat and Logan bolted up to face his nemesis. With a wild gaze he swept the room, confusion clouding his sight.

Yellow eyes glowed in the darkness and Logan let out a snarl, leaping at his enemy.

The shocked cry didn’t sound like Mystique, but she was a tricky one, always trying to fool him, trying to make him doubt himself.

“Logan! It’s me, Kurt!”

“You bitch! I’m gonna kill you!”

The yellow eyes disappeared, reappearing elsewhere and the confusion reared up again. Logan shook his head. She couldn’t do that, could she? She couldn’t take on Kurt’s talents, only his shape.

Logan’s thoughts turned inward, trying to make sense of where he was and who this being was and if he should kill him/her.

A light came on and Kurt stood there across the room, yellow eyes wide with terror, yet determined to face him. His tee shirt had a bloody slash across the chest.

“Elf?”

“Logan, it’s me. It’s not her. Please believe me.”

A banging on the door made Kurt jump, but he backed up to it and without looking, opened the door just enough to converse.

“What’s going on, Kurt?” Scott asked, his tone sympathetic. “It doesn’t sound too good when Logan’s shouting and snarling something about killing you.”

“Not me,” Kurt replied with a voice so full of exhaustion and spent fear, Logan’s heart ached. “He had a nightmare and I guess thought I was Mystique. I’m okay. I’ll take care of it.”

Scott looked about to protest from the view Logan had, but then Scott nodded. “Just yell if you need us. Give Jean or the Professor a mental call if you have to. And tell Logan we’re glad to have him back in one piece. Okay?”

Kurt nodded, closed the door and turned back to face Logan.

“I’m sorry, elf. The dream was...so damned real.” Logan let his claws slide back into hiding and pressed his hands to his face, rubbing hard. He stumbled back against the wall and leaned there, needing support. He sniffed and the smell of his own sex rose up and Logan knew the coming had been real even if the dream had not.

Shame washed over him, the memory of the dream running through his head. He slid down the wall and sat, his legs suddenly weak, his body giving out on him.

He sensed Kurt close, the elf’s body warmth and scent soothing Logan’s anguish just a little. Fingers swept over his hair and down his arm and hands drew him into a comforting embrace.

“Mein gott, Logan, what did she do to you?” Kurt asked, his voice full of his own anguish and fear. “What did she do?”

Logan said nothing, just shook his head. He couldn’t tell Kurt...not now...not yet anyway. He wasn’t sure if he ever could.

Finally, Logan ran his fingers back through his hair and looked up, still unable to meet Kurt’s gaze.

“I...I can’t talk about it right now, elf. Okay? Don’t push it right now.”

The elf’s fingers gently touched his chin, forcing his gaze to Kurt’s. “It’s my eyes, isn’t it? My eyes remind you of her.”

Logan grimaced. “It’ll get better, sweetheart. It’s only been a few hours, ya know.”

“I know. Do you want me to turn on my image inducer? Would that help?”

“No!” One hand balled into a fist and Logan raised it as if the gesture added potency to the word. “I’m not gonna let her do this ta us.”

A little sad smile touched Kurt’s mouth. “I’m glad to hear you say that, but if you need me to have it on for a few days until you get a better handle on where you are, I will. It’s not a big deal. I have it on almost every day.”

Logan let out a harsh breath. “No. I need ta remember you’re you and not Her. I love your eyes, elf. It really pisses me off that I’d think you were Her.”

Kurt’s sigh was more gentle. “You couldn’t help it. That’s what Mystique does.”

Logan reached down, examining the slit tee shirt and the cut beneath. “See, I told ya. Ya shoulda slept back in yer old room.”

“I’m not going to run from this, Logan. I’m not going to be afraid of you...or what you might do when you’re not....”

“What? Myself?” Logan replied in the face of Kurt’s hesitation. “When I’m actin’ like a damned vicious animal?”

Kurt shrugged and looked away. This time, Logan drew Kurt’s face back, forcing their gazes to meet. “There’s some things we gotta face. Things aren’t normal anymore. And I don’t know when they will be. I don’t know what’s comin’ around the bend for me or us. I don’t know how I’ll be reactin’ ta crap. So stay on yer toes, babe. I don’t want ya hurt by me.”

“Oh Logan,” Kurt said, arms wrapping closer around him. “We were just starting to get back to a normal life again.”

“Right. Like either of us has ever lived a normal life.” He let his head fall back against the wall, his hands stroking the soft fur of Kurt’s arms.

“Normal for us,” Kurt said as if an afterthought.

After a while, Logan pushed up, unwinding from Kurt. “I gotta go clean up and change my sweats.”

Kurt rose with him. The kid’s brow was furrowed with concern, understanding too well what had happened, that Logan had cum while in his nightmare.

“If I can help...let me know...please. You know I’ll do anything for you, don’t you?”

Logan let half a smile pull at his mouth, an effort that cost him. “Yeah, I know, sweetheart. I guess I can’t convince ya ta sleep elsewhere though, huh?”

Kurt’s smile matched Logan’s, probably costing the same amount of effort. “No can do. I’m here and I’m not leaving you.”

Logan snagged a clean pair of sweats from a drawer and headed for the door. He let out a sighing breath and muttered. “That’s what I figured ya’d say.”
