Lessons Learned

Ororo paced back and forth in the rec room as Jean and Rogue sat on the couch and watched her. Her face was tight with anger and she just kept shaking her and and muttering under her breath. Jean finally got up, walked over and held her lover tightly in her arms. “Calm down, Ro. They’ll be home.” Ororo hugged her lover back and sighed.

Rouge watched the two women but couldn’t look at either of them. She felt guilty for letting the girls go out in the first place. Ororo caught sight of her southern friend and went over to sit next to her. “Do not blame yourself, Rouge. The girls lied to you about where they were going. They’re responsible for this not you. You asked them all the right questions and told him to be home by one. That’s just what I would have done.” Rouge nodded her head and Ororo put an arm around her friend’s shoulder. “Now, before they get home I think we need to talk about what they can expect when they do.”

The three women talked for a little while and then stopped when they heard a crash in the foyer. They walked out of the rec room and down the hall only to find Kitty picking up a fallen table and Jubilee shushing her. “They’re drunk.” Ororo said with shock in her voice. The three women walked over to the two girls and looked down at them.

“Jubilation Lee.” Jean said sternly.

“Katherine Pride.” Ororo said as she stared at the young brown haired girl on the floor.

Kitty looked up at Ororo and went pale. Jubilee just kept shushing her. “Ooo” She whispered. “She called you Katherine. What did you do?”

The three women looked at each other and then at the girls. “Oh yeah, they’re drunk.” Rouge said as she shook her head.

Kitty started to shake her head. “I didn’t drink.” She said before looking over at Jubilee. “Did I?”

Jubilee shrugged. “Na don‘t think so. You wouldn‘t even take a drink of my beer.”

Kitty just looked at her friend and then at Ororo and then she turned pale. “I think I’m going to be sick.”

Ororo and Jean helped the girls down to med lab where they were both checked out by Hank. Hank’s news didn’t help their case one bit.

“Ecstasy!” Ororo yelled out as she looked over at the girls who were laying on beds. Both girls flinched as they watched Ororo start to pace.

Kitty shook her head. “Ro, I didn’t.. I swear!” Tears began to fall from the girl’s eyes. Jean looked over at Hank.

“It’ssiblsible that they were slipped something.”

Ororo stopped her pacing. “Tell me where you were and what you where doing.” She demanded in a firm yet soft voice. The girls looked at each other and then at Ororo. Kitty finally gave in and broke down. She told them about lying to Rouge about going to the movies, meeting up with Carrie and Samantha and going to an underground rave. Jubilee just sat there and shook her head.

“Well we can’t do anything with them while they’re like this. We’ll wait till morning to deal with it.” Ororo said once Kitty was finished.

Ororo stayed all night with the girls. Even after they fell asleep. She thought about what Kitty had said, about Jubilee’s attitude about it, and about what Hank said. By the time she feel asleep on the cot that Hank had brought in she knew what needed to be done.

The next morning Ororo called Jean and Rogue and talked to them about what she had in mind for the girls and they were all three waiting for them to wake up. Once the girls were checked out and Hank declared them fit and fine, Ororo began.

“How could you two be so irresponsible. You lied to Rouge, you went to an illegal rave, where neither of you can remember taking anything yet Hank found ecstasy in both of your blood streams. Do you know how dangerous ecstasy is? Once.. That’s all it takes, one bad pill and it’s all over.”

Ororo began to pace again as she continued to scold the girls about their curfew and about drinking. She was glad to hear they had taken a cab home. Finally she stopped pacing and scolding the girls and simply stood in between their beds. “This was a one time mistake, girls, and we’re going to make sure of it.” Kitty and Jubilee looked at each other and then at Ororo.

“What.. What’s our punishment?” Kitty asked as she looked down at her lap.

“Your going to spanked.” Ororo said matter of factly. “This afternoon once you’ve had time to rest and eat you’ll both go to you room and wait for you spankings.”

“Spankings?” Kitty asked.

Ororo nodded. “Oh yes, Kitten, you each will be spanked more then once.”

After a nap and lunch the girls were sent to their room where they had been told to be in the corner. A few minutes later Ororo, Jean, and Rouge all came in. Jean and Rouge took a seat on Kitty’s bed while Ororo took one of the girls desk chairs out. “Turn around girls.” They did as they were told and froze when they saw the other women sitting there.

“Yes, girls, Jean and Rouge will watch you getting spanked.” Ororo said as she sat on the chair. “Did you do as I asked and did you really think hard about what you did last night?” Each girl nodded with tears in her eyes. “Then you understand what you did wrong?” Again each girl nodded.

“It was stupid.” Jubilee said.

“We weren’t thinking.” Kitty added.

Ororo nodded. “Well once we’re done here I’m more then sure you’ll each think next time. Kitty turn around, Jubilee bring me your brush.”

Jubilee didn’t fight it. She knew that they messed up big time and was ready to get her spanking. Half an hour passed and Jubilee was once again called over to the chair. Only this time it was Jean who say it in. Jean put the girl over her knee and then picked up a small wooden paddle. Later that night Jean heard soft sobbing coming from Rouge’s room. She went in and asked if spanking the girls like that had been to much for her and Rouge shook her head. She then went on to tell Jean about Raven and how she was spanked. She told Jean about missing what she and Raven hahe the touch of even being spanked was something she longed for. Jean listened to the other woman and patted her back. Her mind ady ady working on a way to help her friend.
