A/N Goddess Foxfeather, Queen of Mad Plotbunnies, I have it on good authority that the fluffernutter sandwiches gave Kristen and Lucas bellyaches. But Joris didn't learn his lesson and his wings are all sticky now... InterNutter, TC and Maxwell Pink are sparkled. :) They archive and have pretty damn cool sites, so go check 'em out. Readers/Reviewers: HOOTIE HOO! Fifty chapters! I'm just a smutty juggernaut... Blame the ducks. They put the voodoo on me.

"What the FUCK?"
Kitty Pryde rarely, if ever, swore in public. And when she did, it was usually reserved for words such as damn, hell, and the occasional shit, but that was only when pain was involved, such as the time she slammed her finger in the car door at the mall. To hear her not only say, but yell, the mother of all swear words was an occasion for note in Bayville High. A general hush fell over the west corridor of the high school as Kitty burned red, holding a square of paper between trembling fingers. Slowly, she turned to look at all of the other lockers in the hall. Just about all of them had a similar picture-her, face clearly visible, legs spread to show all of heaven and earth, her expression bespeaking either great pain or great pleasure, on the roof of the Jeep. However, it was not Kurt she was draped across in the picture as she had been in reality. It was Todd Tolensky. "Duuuuuude," someone down the hall drawled, obviously seeing the picture for the first time. "Porn at school...hellacool!"1
"Man, I think her eye's twitchin'..."
"Uh...she's growlin', dude..."
The three lockers to either side of Kitty were suddenly vacated as she turned on her heel and stalked towards the offices, one picture clutched tightly in her hand as she snatched at others, grabbing as many as she could, with her free hand. There was a lull as she rounded the corner to the administration hall, then a swell of laughter and voices, the pictures she had not managed to grab suddenly becoming the unifying force behind all the cliques in the school-everyone wanted to see them, talk about them, speculate on Kitty's moral standards and how far she would go with *them *if she went that far with Tolensky. Anyone who looked closely enough could see that the picture was mostly faked, but those who could tell, did not. It was more fun that way. Kitty could not form a clear thought as she pushed past the ancient receptionist and a rather startled trio of student aides and into the principal's office. "Miss Blau!"
The woman turned slowly, with the air of someone much put upon but able to stand a bit more. Her first day as principal had not been going well, and it was only twenty past seven in the morning. She had fielded several irate calls from parents demanding to know why Kelly had resigned, two calls from administrators just now hearing of the new principal at Bayville, and one call from someone she had hung up on promptly. _Bastard can go hang at the rate he's going. _ "Yes Miss...?"
"Kitty Pryde." She slapped down the crumpled photos on the principal's desk, fury overriding decorum.
The principal raised an eyebrow and nudged the topmost photo with her fingernail. "Not exactly the way I like to meet my new students...but I appreciate the effort."
"Someone took compromising photos of me, doctored them to make them more compromising, and then put them up all over the west corridor!" Kitty spat. "I want you to find who did it and suspend them! Kick them out! Embarrass them in public by doing it during a pep rally!"
"Calm down, Kitty," Miss Blau said, moving around the gesticulating girl to shut the office door and close out the curious eyes and ears in the outer office. "Tell me slowly, what's going on?"
Kitty stiltedly related how she had come into the school not even half an hour before, early so she could talk to her science teacher about a project, then gone to her locker. She felt her anger freshen when she got to the part about the photos. "And I think I know who did it!"
"Let me hazard a guess...Duncan Matthews. I've read the files Kelly left on top of the heap." She picked up several thick files and dropped them with a thud on her desk. "When you said your name, it rung a bell...seems you have some issues with Bayville's star athlete..."
Kitty felt nauseated. She was fairly certain she knew where this conversation was going-she would be placated, assured something would be done, then turned to the wolves as her reputation was further dragged through the mud and Duncan continued to shine like a saint. "I don't think, in all nessness, Principal Kelly had all the facts."
Miss Blau surprised her. "I had a feeling. These files seem highly biased against you and some of the other residents of the Xavier Institute. I'll let you in on a little secret...I've categorically denied the motion from the PTA to ban you kids from the school. You do not fit the district's definition of special ed so are ineligible to attend the "special" campus and you are not a nusisance...people fear what they do not understand, Miss Pryde." The older woman moved around the desk and leaned in conspiratorially. "People like us, we're different. We make people like _them _ afraid...embrace that, Kitty. Fear can be your best friend or your worst enemy...it's up to you which one it becomes."
Kitty blinked in surprise. She felt a strange vertigo as she looked into the woman's oddly colored eyes, their brown tint tinged yellow around the edges and glowing like a demon. Her words rang in Kitty's ears, striking a resonance that was at once familiar and new. "Miss Blau?"
The woman's face had changed from it's catlike intensity to one of open, pleasant understanding. "Tell you what, Kitty...I'll put a bounty on the pictures. For every student who turns in a picture, I'll give them..." she gestured vaguely, "I don't know...some sort of reward. Not exactly by the guidebook, is it?" she smirked faintly. "Sometimes, the rules don't always work out, do they?"
"Um, sometimes." Kitty was flabbergasted. She had fully expected to run against a wall a la Edward Kelly and this cooperation, albeit rather strange, was making her feel almost lightheaded.
Miss Blau was writing in one of the files as if her life depended on it. "I'll do what I can about Matthews...but be aware that his father not only contributes heavily to the school coffers but is also the owner of the security company that services the school."
Kitty's ears perked up. The words were spoken as a warning, she knew. "Got it. Um, Miss Blau? How am I going to face the day?"
"Stick close to friends. Anyone gives you a problem...let's just say my office is closed to complaints today. And maybe tomorrow..." The enigmatic smile she gave Kitty made the girl shiver internally. "Now, go on. I'll see what I can do but don't expect a miracle right off the bat."
"Thanks...I didn't know what to ex whe when I came in here, but this certainly wasn't it... Why?"
"Let's just say," Miss Blau murmured, opening the door for her, "we have more in common than you know."

Kurt was insanely happy. That was the only phrase he could think of for his present mood. All the extended foreplay of Friday night, the longing and aching of the weekend while he was tied up with chores and Kitty with projects, was about to come to an end. He had awoken alone in the mansion, Scott apparently following through on his threat to leave him be if if he slept through his alarm for school. Kurt could not have cared less. He knew that he had the entire day ahead of him to plot and plan and organize the most perfect way to convince Kitty he was ready to make love again, not the frenzied groping of Friday night but..._What was that? _ He heard a thud from down the hall and felt moved to investigate. No one else was supposed to be there... Porting into the hall, he caught a flash of pink skin disappearing down the stairs. "Hello?" No answer. There was the sound of scuffing feet from the front hall, as if someone was running barefoot across the marble floor. _If that's Jamie, I swear... _ Clad only in his boxers decorated with tiny frogs, something Kitty had found highly amusing the first time she had seen them, Kurt prowled downstairs on silent feet, dropping to all fours when he gained the first floor. He could smell...nothing. Which, he thought to himself, was very weird. He could not even smell the floor polish even though he knew that he had just put three fresh coats of it on the day before. He heard a giggle in the rec room, a decidedly feminine and familiar giggle. "Katzchen?" he called, rising to his full height and trying to see her from his spot in the middle of the foyer. Cautiously, a little suspicious of his good fortune, Kurt padded into the rec room only to have all the blood rush from his head to points south. Kitty was draped across the wingback chair, naked as the day she was born but a damn sight more developed. One arm thrown negligently over her head, she smiled at him and wiggled her fingers in greeting. "Kitty!"
She rose to her feet and walked towards him slowly, her hips swaying in a way he knew she had to have picked up from belly dancing. No one walked like that unless they meant it. She tilted her head to one side and held out her hand, beckoning him to come closer. Kurt found that his feet did not want to work nor could he teleport. She frowned at him when he did not move. "Kurt," she said, though her voice sounded muffled, like she was speaking through layers of fabric.
"I can't move, Katzchen," he said, feeling angry at his body for betraying him.
"Try again," she said, just as thickly. She turned and sashayed her way into the kitchen, not trying to hide her body from him as she usually did. Kurt felt his blood pressure rise incrementally with each step she took, the breaking point being when she turned as she reached the doorway and winked at him.
Kurt found himself in the kitchen without knowing how he got there. It was pure torture. Kitty was everywhere-reclining on the table like a goddess, sitting on the counter and smiling coyly, perched in the window seat like some erotic decoration...Everywhere Kurt looked, Kitty looked back at him, naked and inviting. He was sure he was having a stroke-the longer he looked, the louder the buzzing in his ears became. _ I'm going to die before I'm twenty...this is it! I know it... _
"Kurt! Shake your tail, dude!" Jubilee's voice shattered his dream.
Kurt blinked, Kitty disappearing and his ceiling filling his eyes. The buzzing resolved itself to be his alarm clock, already on it's second "snooze." "Damn it," he sighed. Scott leaned over him, holding the clock in his hands and grinning knowingly. "You've got five minutes...Jean says Kitty's already contacted her twice asking where you were." Scott tapped his head for emphasis on the sort of communication involved.
"She's at school already?"
"Some meeting with a teacher...she and two of the others went early."
"Five more minutes?"
"Yep...bring breakfast with you in the car." Scott turned to leave but paused, throwing back over his shoulder. "Nice tent, by the way."2
Kurt groaned, not even wanting to see how bad the evidence of his dream was. He had a strong feeling that this week was going to go well, if only because it was his last week of enforced celibacy. _Kitty seemed to understand Friday before the club...I wonder what changed? _ As he got dressed hurriedly and carefully in light of his still-present condition, he suddenly realized that today was Tabby-day. _Damn it all...I promised her that I'd go with her to the apartment after school to check on Tabby. Maybe we can talk in the car...she'll be in a better mood after school anyway. She's always hated Mondays... _
1 Yeah, I watch too much Southpark...
2 Oh, come on, think about it... And it's another That Seventies Show reference. Eric is having an erotic dream about his girlfriend and he wakes up to find his family standing around his bed to wish him a happy birthday. As they leave, his sister tosses "Nice tent, Eric," to him.
