Stranger than Fiction

After a very very Long Time I am putting Up the last chapter of stranger than fiction. It isnt finished But after leaving this Fic for dead for so Long I felt I should put this Up. If everyone wishes me to finish it please let me know. And now onto the stories End.







"Comrade it is time." Piotr's voice said carrying through the door.

"... Huh what?... Oh ... I'll be down in twenty minutes...." Matthew said waking up and looking at the clock.

"Understood." Piotr said before his steps were heard going down the hall.

The early light of the sun was just coming up it's orange and yellowish light filling the room through a small opening in Rogue's heavy curtains. Some of the candles from the night before were still burning others had long since burned out. The pizza and movies still sat where Matthew had left them along with The young couples clothes. Matthew kissed Rogue on the lips. Her naked pale form had not moved an inch from where she had fallen asleep the night before.

"Baby I have to go soon wake up." Matthew said in a slightly raised voice.

Rogue stretched like a a lazy cat and yawned. The sudden realization of what the couple had done both hitting them as they noticed they were still nude. Rogue smiled brightly and wrapped her arms around Matthew's neck and kissed him.

"I love you." Rogue said with her eyes still closed and sounding half asleep.

"I love you too Marie .. Um.. I kinda have to get ready .. I'm sorry." Matthew said kissing Rogue who frowned after he removed his lips from hers.

"OK .. I guess I'll go ahead and get cleaned up too." Rogue said raising up and rubbing her eyes smearing her already smudged makeup even more.

Matthew Lazily removed himself from the bed as he was sliding on his boxers and walked over to the door turning on the light. He turned to Rogue and smiled. She was up blowing out the candles having put on his shirt he wore the night before. it hung over her body like a long black nightgown coming to an end just below her knees. He walked over to her and leaned down hugging her from behind and kissing her cheek. Rogue rested her head back on his chest and put her hands on is.

"About lastnight I .."

"It's OK Matt I know..." Rogue said cutting Matthew off as she turned around in his grasp standing on the tip of her toes so she could kiss him as he leaned over her.

"Good.. Cause I don't really know what to say ... It's just I feel ..you know" Matthew said.

"Different? .. Me too .. But not in a bad way." Rogue added in case Matthew misunderstood her.

"Yeah same here... Does it still hurt?" Matthew asked in a low voice in case someone was listening in.

"Not really just kinda sore. I'll be fine." Rogue said smiling at his concern.

"You sure?" Matthew asked.

"Yeah. You should go get cleaned up I need to clean up here." Rogue said looking around her room.

"OK ... Dammit I don't want to go." Matthew said sighing.

"I don't want you to either but you have to." Rogue said tightening her grip on him.

"I know .... " Matthew said finally letting Rogue go from his grasp and kissing the crown of her head.

Matthew walked into the bathroom and grabbed a towel from under the sink and started the water. When it was right he took off his boxers and got into the shower. The heat of the water not felt on his skin as the wetness was. The sure sign that his powers were back to normal.

* How did she hurt me? Then again how the hell was I even able to feel her when we were having ... sex ..... We had sex. Wow .... She gave me her virginity. I had no idea it would feel like that. I hope it didn't hurt her to much. God she was so beautiful lastnight. She even wore the outfit. Hell even played that song I told her about back at the concert. *

Matthew thought to himself as he was taking his shower. He ran over the whole experience from the moment he walked into their room until he was woken up by Piotr. One thing he was sure of from the whole thing. He would never forget lastnight for as long as he lived.


Back in the bedroom Rogue was cleaning up the clothes and the rest of the remnants of last nights event. She had her sheets in one big pile with all the clothes knowing the smell and the blood that was hard to see due to her black sheets would easily be picked up by Logan. Her mind was racing with what had happened lastnight.

* Oh God don't let it be on the mattress .. OK good not on the mattress. God damn I am so sore. Would have helped if Kitty had warned me it still hurt the next day. Oh God I hope I took the pill long enough. To late to worry now I can't just walk in and ask Hank how long I am supposed to take it before I bump uglies .. Oh my God I had sex .. I HAD SEX! .. no we didn't have sex he made love to me just like he told me he would. God I hope it doesn't hurt like that next time .. next time .. When are we even going to be able to do it again? God I hope it doesn't hurt next time. *

As Rogue was thinking to herself and began to run over what had happened the night before she found herself smiling and with one final thought before Matthew came out of the bathroom barely covered in the towel he had wrapped around his waist. She would never forget or ever regret what they had done.

"What's with the sheets" Matthew asked as he slid on a fresh pair of underwear.

"We got blood on them. Logan can pick it up if he come in here so I gotta wash em .. It's OK Matt you didn't hurt me some girls just bleed a lil their first time." Rogue said when Matthew got a concerned look on his face.

"Really? I didn't know that." Matthew said in response. as he was putting on his sweat pants and a T-shirt

"Yeah But I didn't bleed to bad. Kitty said her sheets looked like they murdered someone the first time she had sex. Not to mention the shit they went through to sneak the sheets past Logan." Rogue said.

"Well, how are we going to get ours past Logan?" Matthew asked.

"I am going to wait until he is in the danger room, " Rogue said as she walked over to the pizza on the floor and opened up the box. She took it over to Matthew's bed and sat down on it and started to eat.

"Oh ok....well I have to go now...." Matthew said as he finished putting on his shoes.

"Wait!" Rogue said jumping off the bed and running over to him as he walked to their door.

"What?" Matthew asked looking at her

"This ... could you bend down a little " Rogue said trying to reach his lips with no luck.

Matthew smiled and leaned down to kiss her. Rogue wrapped her arms around him and kissed him deeply. Matthew wrapped his arms around her in turn and returned her kiss. Their lips pressed against each other their tongues entwined. Matthews hands found their way onto Rogue's rear and squeezed it gently then he rose to his full height and Rogue wrapped her legs around his waist. The deep kissing was interrupted by the door opening followed by.

"Wow I am like so sorry!" Kitty said quickly before slamming the door shut.

Matthew broke the kiss and sighed still holding Rogue.

"Guess it's time huh?" Rogue asked her voice heavy

"Yeah...." Matthew said with his voice mixed with a faint growl.

"Hurry back." Rogue said before kissing him.

"I will." Matthew said as they broke their kiss. Rogue released her hold on him and he slowly let her down her body rubbing against him. Causing him to growl slightly.

"I will hurry back for sure..." Matthew said before leaving the room leaving Rogue alone in her room.


Matthew walked to the lower levels of the mansion He stopping off at the infirmary to pick up his protein shake.

"Ah Matthew how are you doing this fine morning?" Hank said as Matthew walked in.

"What do you think?" Matthew said before yawning.

Hank Laughed before taking a sip of his coffee.

"Do you want some coffee?" Hank asked

"Bleh no way .. Just give me the nasty shake." Matthew said sitting in one of the chairs in the room.

"All right then. I will be right back with it." Hank said before leaving the room.

A few moments Later he walked back in with the shake in his hand.

"Here you are. I added some flavoring to it so it shouldn't be as bad." Hank said handing the shake to Matthew who gulped it down.

"Bleh still tastes like crap .. vanilla crap no less. " Matthew said with a disgusted face

"Oh well back to the drawing bored as they say." Hank said throwing the empty cup in the sink and filling it with water.

"You wouldn't happen to know how long we are gonna be gone do you?" Matthew asked as he stood from his chair and stretched.

"Could be a few hours or could be all day. It all depends on what we find really. Why do you ask?" Hank asked as he started packing medical supplies.

"I just want to spend some time with Marie that's all." Matthew said as he walked over to Hank and helped him pack what he had laid out.

"Thank you. As for spending time with Rogue .. I am quite sure she will understand your not being able to spend time with her today and perhaps even tomorrow If we run into any complications." Hank said looking up to Matthew.

"WOW... Could we really be gone that long?"Matthew shouted.

"Our duties come before our personal lives. Rogue understands that and so should you. We will be on the island as long as it takes to gather the information that was left." Hank said in response to Matthew's childish outburst.

"I know that it's just .. I don't wanna be away from Marie that long." Matthew said looking rather depressed.

"Matthew I am sure you will be just fine. Now I suggest you Hurry and put on your uniform." Hank said as he finished packing.

"OK ....." Matthew said walking out of the room.

As he walked to the locker room Logan passed by him and grabbed Matthews Arm. He started to speak not looking up to Matthew.

"I know what you did to Rogue lastnight. And if I didn't know you like I do or how much it meant to her I would be making a new pair of boots out of your hide ." Logan said in a very cold manner.

"I.. I uhh... " Matthew said his gut sinking into his knees from Logan's Cold tone.

"Shut Up I'm trying to say something dammit. You know I respect and appreciate what you did for her these past months. And ..... well, shit I ain't good as this shit.." Logan said with a frustrated look on his face.

"It's Cool Logan I know what your trying to say." Matthew said putting his hand on Logan's shoulder.

"Good cause I sure as fuck don't" Logan said with a sigh.

"Eh you'll figure it out." Matthew said with a big smile.

"Yeah.. One more thing you owe me big time. Ro almost busted in on you two But I saved your asses." Logan said

"What?! I ..." Matthew said

"Just shut up and go get ready." Logan said before walking off.



The light in Tabitha's room finally moved to her tear stained face. Her eyes winced from the light before she yawned and covered her head with her covers as she tried in vain to squeeze a few more hours of sleep out of the morning hours. The heavy footstep of someone walking to her door followed by a heavy handed set of knocking on her door finally forcing her to sit up and stretch.

"What do you want?!" Tabby said yawning

" I.. I.." The voice said with a strong Russian accent

"FUCK OFF PIOTR!!!!" Tabby said throwing her pillow at the door and returning her head to her sheets.

"As you wish Tabitha." Piotr's voice said through the door.


Tabby laid in her bed her leopard print covers over her head. Her multicolored socks sticking out of said sheets as the events of lastnight played through her head.

*Why the hell am I so fucking depressed? Shit its not like I haven't been turned down for sex before .....*

Tabby thought to herself as she felt the tears build up again when she thought of Piotr rejection. She had to admit that despite the few hiccups that had occurred she really enjoyed her night out with Piotr.

* Then I have to fuck it up and try to get him to fuck me. God I should have known better. He isn't like that. He must think I am the biggest slut in the word... OH God damn it I'm crying again. This fucking sucks!*

Tabby thought to herself before finally throwing her covers to the side and lazily pulling herself out of bed and heading for her bathroom. She turned on fighting the urge to shut her eyes until they adjusted to the brightness. She looked to herself in the mirror and curled her nose.

"God I look like hammered shit...Gross is that dried snot?!" Tabby said to herself looking at her tear stained face.

She quickly washed her face with the water from the sink removing the offending bodily fluids from her face before sitting on the edge of her tub and turning on the water.

* Sure I enjoyed our date.. Oh my God Did I just say date?...Who am I kidding sure it was a date. Movies rave dancing back to his place ... well room ... Yep it was a date.* Tabby thought to herself as she pulled off her clothes and eased into the scalding hot bathwater.

"Jesus I went to all the trouble of going out and having my legs and pubs waxed and I don't even get to show off the nice workmanship... Oh God damn it don't you dare cry again." Tabby whispered to herself before dunking her head under the water and coming back up for air.

twenty minutes later tabby emerged from her bathroom naked as they day she was born. Her hair slicked back into pigtails. As she walked over to her dresser next to her door something caught her eye. Something very hard to miss against the hardwood finish. A bright red rose with a folded paper underneath. She picked up the rose and looked at it with a confused look on her face then sat it back down on the dresser next picking up the paper. She opened it read the words scribbled down on the first page. it was hard for her to understand them. Thought hey were in English they had the look of someone not used to writing in the language.


Dear Tabitha:

I wanted to speak to you in person instead of giving you this letter. But I see you are still hurt from my actions lastnight. I wish I was as accomplished at speaking your language as I am in writing it. Lastnight I am afraid you misunderstood The meaning behind my words. I do not wish to make you feel like a whore as you said because I do not see you as one. You are a great woman Tabitha and I am displeased with myself for hurting you like I have. All I am asking for is a second chance and the right to earn the gift you offered me lastnight.

P's' enclosed is something I was drawing for you lastnight. I was up the whole of the night finishing it for you.


As Tabitha read the letter she found herself smiling. She wasn't used to anything like this at all. She had to admit she loved it. After she was finished reading she put the letter down and Looked at the drawing Piotr had made for her.

It was a very beautiful Fairy sitting on the branch of a tree. Her pink and blue wings outstretched in all their glory. Its small perky breasts covered with two maple leaves. her Long Blonde hair tied with a long blade of grass. As tabby looked at the face she noticed something. The fairy was her. Same eyes same nose Same little playful smirk.

"Holy shit... Maybe I should give him a second chance..What the hell what can it hurt?"





"So this is like..where it all happened huh?"

Kitty asked as the island came into view. Matthew growled not out of anger but more out of nervousness. He had put everything that happened at the island out of his mind that he could. He wasn't looking forward to tearing into the place and finding three rotting corpses laying there. He knew it had to be done though. He was now a X-Men and this was part of the job.

"Yeah Kitty ... This is where it all happened." Matthew said sighing loudly

"Are you all right Matthew?" Kurt asked porting beside Matthew."

"Yeah I...damn dude that stuff stinks." Matthew said curling his nose. This was the first time he got a sample of one of Kurt's up close and personal ports and he didn't enjoy it one bit.

Kurt smiled and laughed before slapping Matthew on the shoulder.

"JA I should have warned ya huh? But are you sure you are OK?" Kurt said still laughing a bit.

"Yeah Yeah man I'm fine. Just nervous. Never seen a dead body before let alone one as old as the ones here." Matthew said as Hank ready the blackbird to land.

"That is if they are still there comrade." Piotr said turning to Matthew.

"Oh I am sure they are there. No way any of them had the strength to escape after I got a hold of em" Matthew said

"What did you do to them?" Piotr asked with a curious look on his face.

"Think of what you would do if someone tried to kill your family right in front of you then add claws and fangs." Matthew said as the Blackbird hit the ground.

".......... Understood" Piotr said with a disturbed look on his face.


"All right everyone out of the plane. Matthew, Piotr Could you get those four boxes for me?" Hank said walking to the back of the Blackbird as its loading doors opened.

"Yeah sure doc." Matthew taking one of the large boxes in each hand

As everyone walked out of the Blackbird the ocean breeze filled their lungs waking up those of them that were still feeling a little groggy. Piotr came out last behind Xavier with two of the boxes. his Metallic form catching the light and causing light beams to flood the area around them.

"What are in these boxes?" Matthew asked as he sat them were Hank asked.

"Just some equipment. Just a moment ... Ah here we go! Here put this in your ear."

Hank said in response as he started to pull equipment out of each box. Finally finding what he needed handing Matthew a small black earpiece.

"What the heck is this thing?" Matthew asked looking it over.

"It's a three way radio device. Since Charles is unable to contact you mentally we will have to contact you via this device."

Hank said as he put the other earpiece in his ear handing the third to Xavier as he came over to them.

"Thank you Hank. Now Everyone please gather around. We need to work out a buddy system. Piotr you're with Kitty. Matthew you're with Kurt. Each team will take thirty minute shifts. Between shifts you may rest Or if you wish you can check in with the mansion. Just be sure not to give away our location. Now Matthew, Kurt your up first.Remeber to be careful "Xavier said looking to everyone.

"Yeah OK Professor.. Come Kurt let's go" Matthew said with a rather depressed tone in his voice.

"Ja " Kurt said walking off after Matthew.

"Are you sure you are OK? You're not acting like your normal cheerful mood." Kurt asked as he caught up with Matthew.

"It's nothing don't worry about it." Matthew said with a sigh as he walked.

"Don't lie to me. " Kurt said stopping Matthew with his Hand on his shoulder..which would not have stopped Matthew if Kurt Hadn't jumped on his back in order to do it.

"Dude get off me!" Matthew said finally easing up as he laughed trying to reach Kurt.

"Nien Tell me what it is that troubles you!" Kurt said expertly dodging Matthew grabbing for him.

"If I tell you will you get off my back?" Matthew asked.

"JA! Now speak!" Kurt said hopping over Matthew's head twisting in the air and landing on his feet in front of Matthew.

"Show off .... Anyway I am just not really looking forward to doing this .. I mean sure it's cool hey my first official mission as a X-Men .. But come on I'm looking at the possibility I am going to find three dead bodies down there. Not to mention I. Am the reason they are dead .. If they are dead." Matthew said as he turned from Kurt to the ocean view.

"Oh.. I thought something happened between you and Rogue." Kurt said with a sheepish smile.

"No, We're cool right now.. better than cool perfect really. I just hope we stay like this. Cause I. Don't think I can handle not being with her. I mean it's hard for me to even put into words how I feel about her ya know what I mean man?" Matthew said Finally turning around to face Kurt. Whom had the biggest grin on his face Matthew had ever seen.

"What the hell are you smiling about smurf boy?" Matthew asked.

"Nothing.. Just happy For Rogue is all." Kurt said laughing

"OK.. Yeah sure whatever. Lets get this show on the road before...." Matthew managed to say before

"ORLOCK!!!!!" The voice said booming in his eardrum like a hot knife through his brain

"AH GOD TO FUCKING LOUD!!!" Matthew yelled

"STOP YELLING I CAN'T UNDERSTAND YOU!!!" Hank voice said even louder than
before.

"ME YELLING? YOU'RE NOT THE ONE WITH BUSTED EARDRUMS MONKEY BOY!" Matthew said after taking out the earpiece and screaming into it.

A loud Painful roar was heard from the other side of the island along with surprisingly Xavier cursing up a storm and Kitty laughing hysterically.

"Mien Gott What was that?! ... Hold On I will check!" Kurt said before porting off

Moments Later Kurt returned with a small smile on his face.

"What Happened?" Matthew asked from the entrance of the Base.

"Long or short version?" Kurt asked Laughing.

"Long.. I need something to take my mind off the massive headache I got form that God damn earpiece." Matthew Said as He heaved A Large slab Of concrete and steel over his shoulder

"Well, When you screamed into you earpiece you nearly destroyed Hank's eardrum. In the process he fell forwards spilling coffee all over himself and The professor. Resulting in Hanks screams of Pain and the Professor's cursing. Kitty thought this was funny and burst into laughter.. That's all I got from Kitty before Hank told me to come back here and tell you that you are going to have a long talk with him later about self restraint with fellow team members..."

Kurt said Walking Over to Matthew before porting onto the Cave entrance.

"Shit.. That's going to double my Dangeroom time..Get down from there before you Fa..."

Matthew said as He threw another slab of twisted steel and concrete. A small rumbling was heard followed by a blast of rock as Kurt fell from view through a crack in the rock he had just ported upon.

"YOU OK KURT?!" Matthew Yelled

"I'm fine My friend...Though I think I sprang my tail...OUCH!!! ..Yes I did...It Smells Horrible Down here." Kurt said before Porting Back out of the hole.

"Could you see anything?" Matthew Asked Once Kurt came into view.

"Indeed I could. It looks like you are close to getting passed the section that collapsed on the stairs. But there's more rubble at the bottom of the stairway. I'm not sure How much So I am not going to port in further to check. Not to mention the smell..." Kurt said trying to stifle a gag while Holding his tail in his hands.

"What kind of smell?" Matthew asked looking a little worried.

"Like rotting fish... I could hear water as well. It must have flooded after the explosion." Kurt said brushing dust off his uniform.

"Oh.. OK.. What do you think we should do? Just keep going and see how bad the water is down there Or contact the others before we continue?" Matthew said finally putting the earpiece back in his ear.

"Hey can ya hear me Matt?!.. I mean Orlock!.." Kitty's voice said through the earpiece.

"Yeah Just keep it down..They still pissed?" Matthew asked

"Uh huh... Oh man I would soooo hate to be you right now Ma..Orlock"Kitty said giggling

"Yeah... So listen Kurt found a way past the first wall of rubble but there's still more down at the bottom of the entrance. He's not going to port through since he can't tell how far it goes..And the entrance smells like dead fish so the place is probably flooded. Any idea what we should do now? " Matthew Said dusting off his hands on his waist.

"Just a sec lemme ask The others............We're on our way just wait for us. Oh..and don't look them in the eye." Kitty added the last part laughing

Moments later the others came into view. Hank with a bandage over his ear. His clothes stained with Coffee. Xavier's suite not looking any better. Matthew as advised after seeing this and the stern look on their faces looked down to his feet.

"Damn... my feet are huge.." He thought as they approached

"Orlock...." Xavier said as he reached the young man in question.

"Professor.. Listen I..." Matthew said

"Think nothing of it. We should have taken into account your unique physical makeup before calibrating the earpiece." Hank Said Cutting Matthew off

"So does this mean I'm not in trouble..?" Matthew asked sheepishly.

"No." Xavier and Hank responded in unison

Matthew only sighed and shook his head.

"Now onto more current matters. Piotr.." Xavier said turning to the Tall Russian

"Dah Xavier?" Piotr Said turning to Xavier.

"I want you to Help Matthew clear the entrance as quickly as possible. If the compound is flooded the faster we act the better chance we have of recovering any evidence that has survived." Xavier said his always present stern but fatherly tone in his voice.

"Understood." Piotr said transforming into his metallic form and walking towards the entrance of the cave.

"Kitty?" Xavier said turning to the young Lady. Her face still slightly blushed from her fit of laughter.

"Yes, Sir?" She said

"After the first section is cleared I want you to try and see how deep the second wall of rubble leads into the compound. Don't push yourself, however. While we have some medical supplies it will be impossible for us to help you if you become trapped in solid matter."

"O..Ok I'll try my best." Kitty said

"Do not try. Just Do what you feel your are capable of, nothing more. Understood?" Xavier responded with a fatherly tone.

"All right Ill be careful... You guys almost finished?" Kitty asked turning to Orlock and Colossus.

"Nyet....."Colossus said as he removed one rather large boulder twice his size with ease.

"Yeah we're not finished yet. Probably Just a few More minutes though I think I feel some air coming through the rocks at a couple of spots."

Matthew responded Removing an even larger boulder from the entrance than What Colossus had just removed. To top it off He did it with just one hand and smirked as he held it over his head.

"...Showoff." Kitty said shaking her head.

"This is no time for games Matthew. Just finish removing the rubble as quickly and safely as possible." Hank said trying to hide a smile smirk.

"Yeah, yeah I gotcha." Matthew responded still smirking.

"I could have done better." Piotr whispered shaking his head.

"Oh yeah? Well, maybe one day we'll find out who's stronger. Until then lets just get this over with I'm starving." Matthew said as a small rumble escaped from his gut.

The two young man worked quickly then. They Quickly made their way further into the entrance removing each boulder blocking their path until Finally they made their way to the last few larg boulders. The Sent Kurt hadmentioned slowly creeped over them. Piotr was the first to notice.

"What did you eat?" Piotr said with a amused yet disgusted expression.

"Hey It wasn't me. Its coming from down there... Smells like the shit Hank makes me drink every day... Speaking of which...is it bad if it makes me more hungry?" Matthew asked rasing an eyebrow.

"You my friend are disgusting." Pitor Said with a laugh.

"Indeed I am. Ok lets get the hell out of here." Matthew said dusting off his clawed hands


This isnt the end It might be a while But I will finish this.. I hope.... If you want me to finish please let me know guys
