I Do Not Own Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes

 

The next few weeks things went much smoother for everyone. Hulk got used to the fact that Bella was an early riser and he was not. But as long as he could find her in the house when he woke up he was happy. Tony had finally calmed down a bit and everything was going smoothly. Everyone was slowly getting used to seeing Hulk so affectionate towards her. Everyone was able to spend some time with her, even with Hulk. At first Hulk didn't like the idea of the others spending time with her, but after a while he started to relax and allow the others to spend time with her. But even though he allowed the others to spend time with her, it didn't mean he let them spend time with her alone, just in case they tried to hurt her feelings, he would be there to stop it.

 

Whenever he had to go out with others to save the city or another part of the world, Bella would always wish him luck and ask him not to make too much of a mess when they caught the bad guy. Some of the time he succeeded, but there were others like today when he couldn't control himself. They were fighting a guy that fired some weird black stuff and got into Hulk's eyes, making go into blind rage. After locking the criminal away the team and the S.H.I.E.L.D agents tried to calm him.

 

Pushing through a crowd of people she made her way to him. Finally she pushed through to see him standing in a big crater. Bella tried to get to him but S.H.I.E.L.D agents were holding her back.

 

“Ma’am we can't allow you near that monster he is very dangerous.” one said

 

Bella didn't listen, just pushed the agent off of her and jumped into the crater. “Hulk it me Bella.”

 

Hulk froze at sound of her voice. He searched for where that voice came from. Bella slowly approached him. She lightly placed her hand on his arm. She felt him tense before he relaxed. He turned to her, allowing her to get close to him.

 

“I'm here Hulk everything is going be ok.” she said

 

Hulk nodded before bringing her closer to him. “Hulk can't see it. Makes Hulk angry and want smash.”

 

Bella tried to rub softly at his eyes to get the weird stuff off of him. Hulk stood still, letting her do this. “I know Hulk. Lets get back home ok? I'm sure Hank or Tony can figure out something to get this stuff off you.”

 

Hulk nodded. “Hulk hungry.”

 

Bella giggled before grabbing his hand and leading him out of the crater. “I figured you would be. Lunch will be done soon.”

 

Hulk smiled and licked his lips. “What having for lunch?”

 

The others came around her, even few of S.H.I.E.L.D agents. The S.H.I.E.L.D agents watched them talk, not sure what do. “It's going to be spaghetti and meat balls. Hank requested it for lunch today.”

 

Hulk growled a bit, making them all stop and look at him. Bella lightly touched his face. “What's the matter Hulk? I thought you liked spaghetti and meat balls?”

 

Hulk shook his head. “Hulk likes spaghetti. Hulk wanted pick what to eat.”

 

Bella smiled lightly. “That's your problem Hulk, That you didn't pick what I cook for a meal?”

 

Hulk nodded. “Hulk wants Bella cook what Hulk says.”

 

Bella just giggled while others except the S.H.I.E.L.D agents grinned. The S.H.I.E.L.D agents weren't sure what to make of what was going on. Bella wrapped her arm around his. “Alright Hulk how about you and me make a deal. Everyday you can choose what I cook for one meal out of three. How does that that sound to you?”

 

Hulk stayed silent after that, thinking. The others followed them and Hank opened a door for them.

 

“Will Hulk be able help Bella cook?” he asked

 

Bella grabbed his hand. “Of course Hulk. You can help if you want. I would love have the help.”

 

Hulk smiled before allowing her to help him onto the table. Hank and Tony went off to see what they could use to help get the stuff off him. Bella had an idea. She grabbed a bucket and filled it with warm soapy water and a small towel. She gently got the towel wet before wiping his eyes gently. So far half of the stuff on his eyes was gone.

 

“Bella what about snacks?” he asked softly

 

 

Bella paused for bit before resuming cleaning his eyes. She dipped the towel back into the bucket before wiping his eyes again. “Would you like me to make snacks too?”

 

Hulk nodded. “Hulk likes snacks but Bella doesn't have to if Bella doesn't want cook for Hulk.”

 

Bella finished wiping the rest of the stuff off his eyes. Bella covered his eyes as he blinked a few times before opening his eyes. Hulk stared up at her just smiling down at him. Hulk gave a soft smile. Bella gently touched his hair, running her figures through it. He leaned into it.

 

“If you want me to I will Hulk. I don't mind cooking, it is actually fun.” she says

 

Bella backed up a bit allowing Hulk to stand up. “Lets go check on lunch ok Hulk and then we can look up stuff in a cook book for dinner ?”

 

Hulk nodded before grabbing her hand and following her out. Nick Fury came up to her. “How did you know how to that?” he asked

 

Bella stopped, looking at him. Hulk just narrowed his eyes. “Oh it's not the first time he's gotten something stuck on his eyes or hair and I figured I should try plain soap and water before using something else. Are you staying for lunch?” she asks asked

 

“I see. My name is Nick Fury and I'm leader of S.H.I.E.L.D.” he said

 

Bella sighed a little. “OK Nick, are you staying for lunch or what?”

 

Nick nodded. “Yes I will stay for lunch.”

 

“Kay, that's all I really wanted to know Nick.” with that she and Hulk walked out towards the kitchen.

 

Nick looked at the rest of team with questioning look. Hawkeye came up to him. “Nick, for once in Hulk's life he is happy and not angry at the world. We're not sure why Bella can get through to him like this. From what I heard not even Betty could get through when he was going on a rampage. I think she is very good for him.”

 

Nick looked at him in shock. “Why can Bella get through but Betty can't? Betty loved him. I can tell that she is good for him and he is happy, but I don't understand this.”

 

Hawkeye shrugged. “Well from what I heard Betty doesn't really love Hulk. She loves Banner and since the two are in same body she figured just to love Hulk. But I'm assuming that Bella doesn't even know or care about Banner. Bella only cares about Hulk. Nick, if you're having such hard time believing this, why don't you stick around for a bit and watch them.” with that Hawkeye and others left Nick Fury alone, letting him choose what he was going to do.

 

After just standing there for good 30mins Nick went to kitchen to see what was happening. What he saw made him almost wish that he hadn't come this way. He saw Bella cooking with Hulk right beside her. Hulk had a cook book in his hands. He would point at the pictures and Bella would tell him what it was before moving on to the next one. After little bit Hulk would set the table, making sure everyone had seat while Bella drained the pot filled with noddles. Before she could even lift up the pot Hulk did it for her. Bella just smiled before getting out the strainer so he could pour the water out. Then Bella set down a towel for the pot to go on the island table. Bella looked over at him.

 

“Is something the matter Nick?” she asked

 

Nick shook his head. “No there's nothing the matter. Just waiting for lunch to be ready.”

 

Bella nodded. “Would you mind getting the others? Lunch is just about ready.”

 

Nick nodded and slowly backed away from the kitchen door. Soon everyone was in kitchen eating. Nick was slightly surprised to see Bella sitting on Hulk's knee. None of others were surprised at this. It seemed that this was normal. Janet looked over at them.

 

“So Hulk have you decided what's for dinner?” Janet asked

 

Hulk nodded. “Hulk pick pizza so Bella doesn't have cook and can spend more time with Hulk.”

 

Bella blushed a bit. “Awww Hulk, that so sweet. Guys, I was thinking maybe one of us should at least cook one meal a day. It is really unfair to Bella to cook all the meals and any requests we may want to eat.” Janet said

 

Bella just blushed more. Hulk grinned before resuming eating. Fury noticed that Hulk seemed to actually like making Bella blush or smile. When he was all done eating he sat his plate down on the table before setting Bella's plate on top of his, knowing she was done before him. Soon everyone else was done eating and Janet and Thor were doing the dishes.

 

Nick left soon after that, feeling he'd stayed too long. Nick couldn't shake the feeling he'd seen Bella before and he had the feeling he didn't want to remember where he meet her before .

 

Soon night came around and everyone was in separate parts of the house. They all had their pizza or whatever they decided to eat for the night. Which was perfectly fine with Hulk because he and Bella were currently watching a movie together. Bella was laying at his side with her head laying on his chest and his arm wrapped loosely around her. They were currently watching the end of Beauty and the Beast. Hulk had an urge to smash the tv but he didn't. Instead he pulled her closer to him making her whole body lay on top of his chest with her head resting on his neck. Hulk wrapped both arms around her, keeping her there.

 

Bella slowly looked up at him before wrapping one arm around his neck and one hand gently touching his face. Hulk looked at her.

 

“I think that the Belle in the story would have loved the Prince no matter what he looked like.” she said

 

Hulk smiled a little before lowering his eyes. “But what if a guy comes and tries to take Belle away from him and he is still a monster?” he asked

 

Bella smiled sweetly, knowing what he meant. He wasn't talking about the Belle in story, he was talking about her. Gently running her fingers through his hair, she spoke. “She would never go with the other guy because she was happy with the Prince and wanted to stay with him.” She paused, seeing that he wasn't looking at her. She gently cupped his face, making him look at her. Hulk stared into her eyes. His eyes gave away the sadness, and loneliness he had been through without her. “Oh Hulk I will never leave you for someone else. You're stuck with me forever.”

 

With that Hulk cheered up and grinned big. “Good. Hulk would never let Bella go anyways.” Bella just laughed at him before giving him a hug.

 

Hulk nuzzled her hair. Bella slowly pulled away, awning. “Bella ready for bed?” Hulk asked

 

Bella nodded, rubbing her eyes. Hulk slowly lifted her up while turning off the tv. Bella rested her head on his shoulder with one arm supporting her as he walked to their room. The dark room that was theirs. He walked over to the bed before gently pulling back the covers. He lowered himself onto the bed, making sure that he didn't wake her before covering them up. He didn't need it, but Hulk wanted make sure that Bella wouldn't get cold. Nuzzling her hair, he drifted off to sleep with a smile on his face.
