Stranger than Fiction

Ok a bit of warning some spoilers for that last halloween movie. You know the one with the Rapper and the whole internet live cast thing. I don't recall the name because well....it pretty much sucked and I am sad to say I went to see it .

"I hear you two are going on a date tonight."Joe said as the couple walked into the rec room

"Yeah we are going to the movies." Rogue said sitting down on the couch

"So what are you two going to see?" Joe asked

"Jason versus Freddy."

Matthew said as he sat beside Rogue and held her uncovered hand. Joe noticed Rogue seemed to relax when he did this.

"Doesn't sound like the type of movie to go see on a second date. Aren't you supposed to go see a romantic comedy or something?" Joe said giving them a funny look

"Do I look like the type of girl who likes romantic comedies?" Rogue asked raising her brow

Joe laughed when she asked him that.

"No, I guess not. When you two heading off then?"

"We are going to the late showing so I don't have to worry about someone bumping into me in the theater." Rogue said looking at the man

"Ah I see. Well, you two have fun and be careful. Logan said to make sure to take a cellphone with you in case anything happens."

"I would take mine if somebody hadn't crushed it." Rogue said looking at Matthew

"Oh....Sorry about that. " Matthew said looking embarrassed

"You crushed her phone?" Joe asked

"Yeah I was talking to someone and got mad and accidentally crushed it into itty bitty pieces." Matthew said looking at Rogue

"You better get me a new one. That was my birthday present from Irene. " Rogue said looking a little mad

"Oh my god it was? Damn I'm sorry! I swear I will get you a new one!" Matthew said kissing Rogue on the cheek

"Who is Irene?" Joe asked

"She's my legal guardian. She is pretty much the only foster family I had that treated me right. If it wasn't for her Matthew would never have been able to find me." Rogue said looking at Joe

"How did she know where you were?" Joe asked

"She's a mutant. Lets just leave it at that." Matthew said

"Oh OK then." Joe said looking back to the TV

"What are you watching?" Rogue asked looking at the TV

"Wyatt Earp." Joe said

As soon as he told the name of the movie the man sitting out in front of the bar on the screen said

"You can all kiss my rebel dick! " (1)

Matthew burst out laughing and Rogue got a weird look on her face then cracked a smirk.

"You always did laugh when he said that." Joe said with a smirk

"Well, it's funny." Matthew said as he stopped laughing

"I never seen this movie before." Rogue said as they watched it

"It's real good....and really damn long." Matthew said looking at her

"Everything Costner is in long as hell." Joe said Looking at Matthew

"That's why I never seen it before. The only movie I watched that was real long was Lord of the Rings." Rogue said

"You seen that movie?" Matthew asked looking at her

"Yes, I seen Lord of the Rings just like everyone else on the planet. I didn't really want to go see it but I was dragged along since it was one of those big get together things the Professor makes us do to bond. " Rogue said looking at Matt.

"You mean like when we all went to the park?" Matthew asked Looking at her

"Yeah like that. Every few months he just tells us to go out and do something. Like go to the park, the mall, or the movies."

"Well, that's nice. You all don't need to stay in here all the time anyway." Joe said looking at the couple

"We do go to school ...Which is really getting hard since so many people know what we are now." Rogue said with a sigh

"Speaking of which why the hell haven't we started school yet?" Matthew asked

"Oh yeah that. Well, the school got trashed during the summer by someone and they are still repairing it. And since it's the only high school in town we have to wait till it is fixed to go back." Rogue said

"You think the brotherhood did it?" Matthew asked whispering in her ear

"If they did it was the best damn thing they ever did." Rogue whispered back

Matthew smiled

"Wait does everyone get teased at school now?" Matthew asked

"More like get jumped among other things. Every time one of us fights back though we get suspended. The Professor made me stay here till it died down since well...you know." Rogue said holding up her free hand and wiggling her fingers

"You mean you are getting harassed like that and the teachers and the rest of the staff doesn't do anything?" Joe said looking angry

"It's not that. Our principal is a big time Mutant hater. I am sure if one of the teachers tried to stop it they would get fired." Rogue said looking angry

"Well, that is going to change when I start going to school with the rest of you." Matthew said looking a little angry himself

"What are you going to do?" Rogue asked looking at him

"Nothing as long as Kelly keeps out of everyone's business and plays nice." Matthew said with a smirk

"You better not attack him like you did that Remy kid." Joe said looking very serious

"I ain't that stupid dad..."

Matthew got a weird look on his face when he called the man that. Rogue noticed and squeezed his hand. Matthew blinked and then just smiled at the man

"You don't know how good it feels to hear you call me that." Joe said with a mix of joy and sadness on his face

"Well, what else would I call you?" Matthew said still faking his smile

"You used to call me deadie."Joe said with a smirk

"What kind of name is deadie?" Rogue said looking at Matthew funny

"Oh that...That's what I learned to say instead of daddy. They just never tried to fix it and I just got used to saying it as I got older."Matthew said when she gave him a funny look

"You are crazy." Rogue said smiling

"Like I say that's why you love me." he said smiling back at her

"Damn straight." Rogue said leaning in and kissing him

"Well, if that ain't the cutest thing I ever seen." Joe said jokingly

"Oh hush!" Rogue said blushing

"Sorry couldn't resist the urge to make you two blush again." Joe said laughing

"So how long are yall planning to stay ?" Rogue asked

"Oh well, I dunno we need to be heading back soon. I have a reenactment in Kentucky in four days so I have to get back in the next two to make it in time." Joe said

"Do you still live in the same house we did before the wreck?" Matthew asked

"Yeah we never moved. We can't afford to really. If you want you two can come stay with us for Christmas. Cindy is coming so what do you say?" Joe said looking at the couple

"Thank you Mister Ballard." Rogue said smiling

"I said you can just call me Joe. You making me feel old calling me Mister Ballard." Joe said with a smile

"You mean you really don't mind us coming to stay with you for Christmas? The house isn't big enough for all of us to come stay." Matthew said

"I know we only got three bedrooms but I am sure you two can share a room. Right?"Joe asked with a smirk

Rogue found herself blushing again and noticed Matt was as well. Which thanks to his unique blood coloring made it look like he had soot all over his cheeks.

"Is that OK with you Marie? I mean going to stay with my family for Christmas." Matthew asked Looking at Rogue

"I would love to.....Wait are a lot of people going to be showing up?" Rogue asked looking at Matthew's father

"No...not much of the family kept in touch after the wreck. I am sad to say not many people where happy to find out about mutants in the family."Joe said with a mix of anger and sadness.

"I'm sorry." Matthew said

"Don't say that it ain't your fault. They are just stupid is all." Joe said

"But Cindy said yall took off to Regina's Sister's house. She don't care about mutants?" Rogue asked

"Oh no she don't mind. It is all on my side of the family really. But Regina's family is so scattered that they can't ever make it for Christmas. The only one who does it her father." Joe said

"Oh OK. Then yes I will go with you to stay with your family for Christmas." Rogue said smiling

"OK then I will tell Regina to get the spare room fixed up. Though that shouldn't be much of a problem. We could never bring ourselves to cleaning it out..." Joe said with a sigh

"Oh well I can understand that. I remember how tore up mama was when Nanny died." Matthew said with a sigh

"Who is Nanny ?" Rogue asked looking at Matthew

"My mom's mother. She died when I was nine." Matthew said looking at Rogue

"I'm sorry." Rogue said

"Don't be. I am over it now." Matthew said

"Well, I don't know about you two But I am going to get me something to eat. That is OK ain't it? I ain't going to get in trouble for going into the fridge am I?" Joe said standing up and rubbing his stomach

"No, We got plenty of food ." Rogue said

"Good because I am starving!" Joe said walking out of the room and heading towards the kitchen

"Are we really going to stay with your family for Christmas?" Rogue asked looking at Matthew

"Looks that way." Matthew said

"Looks Like I am going to get to see where you grew up....well one of you grew up anyway." Rogue said

"Yeah this whole two mes thing is getting confusing." Matthew said

"Do you think the rest of your family will like me? I mean your grandfather and who ever else shows up." Rogue asked with the same look she had the morning Matthew's parents came

"Personally I don't give a shit what they think and you shouldn't either. We love each other and that's all that matters." Matthew said leaning in and Kissing Rogue

"But you where worried about your parents liking me." Rogue said when he pulled away from their kiss

"That was different. I knew you wanted them to like you and I was just worried they wouldn't. They do and that is really all that matters. Don't worry what everyone else thinks. Besides if this version of my grandpa is anything like mine he will love you. I promise." Matthew said with a big fang baring grin on his face

"I ever tell you how cute you look when you do that?" Rogue said kissing him tongue and all.

"You just did!" Matthew said kissing her back in the same way

"Yo sugar lips what's up!?"

"Don't call me that Todd." Wanda said sitting in the chair next to his bed

Todd had his legs covered in thick casts. Almost every bone and muscle had been broken cracked or ripped in his legs but thankfully his knees where not hurt. His tongue on the other hand had fully healed in just a week. Wanda had been to see him a lot after he was moved to a local hospital. The Professor had pulled a lot of strings to make sure he got the right doctors that would give him proper treatment since so many now refused to treat mutants. Wanda knew most of the Doctors that treated him where Mutant's themselves. She had still not told him how she felt and She had come today to finally tell him. In no small part to Jubilee threatening to tell him herself. As did Matthew. And from what she had heard Matthew would do it for sure.

"My bad Wanda. What would you like me to call ya then?" Todd asked as he ate the sub she brought him

"How about your girlfriend?" Wanda asked raising her brow

Todd nearly choked on his food when she said that.

"M...my WHAT?!" Todd asked looking at her

"Don't act so surprised Todd I know you have been going around calling me that ever since you kissed me and I didn't hit you." Wanda said giving him a very serious look

"I know. I just didn't think you knew...you really wanna be my girl?" Todd asked laying his food on the table beside his bed

"Of course I do. You know I never joke about things like this. I mean everyone is already going around thinking we are together." Wanda said with a smirk. Something that creeped the hell out of Todd when she did it

"Yeah I heard about that. Are you sure you aren't just doing this to make me feel better?" Todd asked looking very serious

"Yes, I am sure. Someone pointed out something to me a few days ago that's all. And I felt it was time to make us official." Wanda said putting her hand over his. It felt cold and clammy but she didn't really care right then

"What did they point out to you Wanda?" Todd said sounding very serious and now dropping his "Slang talk" as he called it

"They gave me the answer I needed. I have had this strange feeling every time I think about you see you or talk about you." Wanda said now holding his hand tightly

"What kind of feeling? You mean sick want to puke feeling? I have that affect on girls." Todd said now looking very nervous. He was doing his best not to freak out by the way Wanda was looking at him and the way she was holding his hand

"No! That's not it at all. " Wanda said

"What kind of feeling then?" Todd asked

"A I love you feeling." Wanda said not looking at his face but looking down to the ground

Wanda looked and noticed that Todd was now pure white instead of his normal greenish flesh color.

"Shut up. I know you don't really care about me. I know you are just nice to me because you feel sorry for me. Someone as beautiful as you could never love someone like me.... Now please leave I don't want you to see me cr...."

Before Todd could finish his sentence Wanda had leaned in and kissed him. It wasn't a friendly peck on the cheek or a chasted kiss on the lips but a passionate kiss. Todd found himself utterly in shock. He felt something drop down his cheek and thought he was crying till he heard Wanda whimpering as she kissed him. Todd found himself wrapping his arms around her and kissing her back with even more passion than she was putting into the kiss. After a good thirty seconds of this they pulled away from each other to breathe.

"Why are you crying Wanda?" Todd asked with a shocked look on his face

"I don't know...I am happy but I want to cry too." Wanda said brushing away her tears

"How could you love me? I mean look at me Wanda. I am not prince charming and I didn't turn into a handsome guy with a gold crown when you kissed me. I am green skinned bugged eye freak who spits up slim and eats bugs. I don't exactly have good hygiene or manners either." Todd said with the same look of shock on his face he got when she kissed him

"I know all that Todd. I mean I seriously hated your guts when we first got to know each other. But when you got into that fight with Lance when he called me a bitch for not wanting to sleep with him something just started happening. It was slow and I didn't even notice it but I started to enjoy having you around me. I started liking it when you would flirt or hit on me. Then all that happened with my father and Mastermind..... I still liked you even then. Someone said because the part of my mind that still remembered knew you took the pain away. I thought I just liked you a lot. But ever since I been staying with Xavier I started to realize I loved you. I just wasn't really sure until a few days ago when someone literally threw it in my face." Wanda said

"I have no damn idea what to say now Wanda..." Todd said looking really shocked

"Just tell me I didn't make an ass of myself and we will be fine." Wanda said with a sigh

"How about I say I love you? "Todd said taking her hand

"That's good too." Wanda said with a slight smile

"OK then. I love you Wanda Maximoff. Wanna fool around now?" Todd asked falling back to his old ways

"Tell you what. You take a very long shower and brush your teeth for an hour when you get out and I might just say yes to that." Wanda said with a smirk

"You serious?!" Todd asked looking very excited

"Do like I asked and we will find out." Wanda said with the same smirk


"Two for Jason versus Freddy please" Matthew said walking up to the counter holding Rogue's hand

"Here you are Sir. Have a good night and enjoy the movie" The ticket holder said handing him the tickets.

Matthew walked over to the snack bar with Rogue

"So what kind of snacks you want?" Matthew asked looking down at Rogue

"Big ass Pepsi and as much popcorn as you can afford will be just fine." Rogue said

"Sounds good to me." Matthew said walking up to the snack bar and ordering what Rogue asked for as well as some nachos and a large Pepsi for himself.

"Why the hell did you get that big ass thing of nachos? We already got the biggest thing of popcorn they have." Rogue said as they sat down in the very back of the theater

"I am still starving that's why." Matthew said taking a huge hand full of popcorn and stuffing his face with it.

"Hey you better save me some." Rogue said grabbing the popcorn away from Matthew

"Sorry." Matthew said smiling

"Oh the movie is starting. This better be good I been waiting forever for this to be made." Rogue said as the movie started on the screen

"Well it can't be as bad as Jason X." Matthew said with a smirk

"Hey I happen to like that movie. If only because of how campy it was." Rogue said eating her popcorn and smiling at the bloodshed on the screen

"Yeah OK you got me I liked it to." Matthew said with a slight laugh

Someone in front of them a row ahead turned around and told them to be quite. Matthew let out a low growl only loud enough for the person to hear them. They turned around really fast after saying sorry. Rogue covered her mouth and laughed

"Do you want everyone to know?" She asked looking at him raising her brow while whispering

"Sorry that was just one of those little instinct moments." Matthew said smiling

"Sure it was Matt." Rogue said leaning in and kissing him

"Oh want to make out in the back of a movie theater do you? How cliché of you." Matthew said with a smirk

"Well, if you don't want to then fine nevermind." Rogue said sitting back down in her seat

"I didn't say that now did I?" Matthew said leaning over and kissing her

"I don't think we are going to be seeing much of this movie are we?" Rogue said smiling

"Doesn't look like it." Matthew said kissing her again this time tongue and all

Rogue let out a low moan of pleasure then to Matthew's utter shock placed her hand on his crotch and started undoing his belt buckle.

"What are you doing Marie ?" He asked in a shocked whisper

"I have no idea what I am doing....Do you want me to stop?" Rogue asked as she unzipped his fly

"Not really..Do you want to do whatever you are about to do?" Matthew asked leaning back in his seat

"Would I be doing this if I didn't want to?" She asked as she took off her glove and slid her hand into his boxers

"I would say no....." Matthew said with a slight growl

"Shh Matt be quite. You start growling like a lion in heat and we are going to get caught. Just be quite and tell me when you are close OK?" Rogue said whispering as she started stroking his length and pulled it out of his boxers.

Matthew just nodded and moved his coat over his erection to hide her actions. She leaned in and started to kiss him passionately and she sped up her movements and tightened her grip on him.

*God don't let me caught!..Damn that girl must have been a real freak. I mean they got caught going down on their boyfriend and gave him handjobs in public. Damn Matt is so hard right now. "Matthew?" Rogue asked as she continued her actions

"W...w.....what is it?" Matthew asked as he tried to keep from growling like crazy from her actions

"Turn off your Holo. I want to see the real you while I am doing this OK?" Rogue said leaning in and kissing him again

"OK." Matthew said turning off his Holo.

"I love you ." Rogue said kissing him again as she sped up her actions even faster

"I love you too...." he said when she pulled away from her kiss

Rogue started stroking him faster and squeezing his tip every few strokes. She noticed Matthew was digging his claws into the hand rests on his seat and biting his lip to keep from making any noise. He was still letting out very low growls but they where being masked by the action on the screen. She leaned in and started to whisper in his ear

"I want you to know I love you with all my heart and I am doing this because I love you. Not because of what you did in the green house today. Which I wouldn't mind you doing a lot more often." Rogue said with a slight laugh

Matthew grinned when she said the last part. She started to whisper again as she stroked him even faster. She was now stroking his member at an almost blinding pace

"Remember tell me when you are close ok?....Don't ask why just tell me ok?...Now?" Rogue asked when Matthew had the same look on his face the night she went down on him

"Yes, its getting pretty close now...." Matthew said forcing out his words instead of growls

Rogue let out a deep sigh and stopped her actions. Matthew gave her a funny look till she Moved his duster out of the way and placed her head in his lap.


"Think of this is my late birthday present."She said before she took him into her mouth

Matthew turned back on his Holo and laid his arm around Rogue's shoulders as she laid her head on his shoulder.

"You aren't going to tell any of the guys about this are you?" Rogue asked

"Never. Not even if they torture me." Matthew said kissing her on the crown of her head again

"Just checking" Rogue said with a smile

"OK" Matthew said with a smile as well

They sat there watching the movie. Not really saying much else except for a comment here or there about what was happening in the movie. Matthew adding his own style of commentary that edge on MST3K (2) style humor. Rogue herself making comments about what she would have done if confronted with the same situation's the poor stupid teenagers were in the movie moments before meeting their death at the Hands of Jason or Freddy. Which was mostly either a swift kick in the nuts or run like her ass was on fire.

"Why don't people just grab a damn ax and slice that fuckers head off? It took twenty fucking years for someone to do that to Michael Myers. Then he comes back only to get his ass kicked By Busta Rhymes of all people." Matthew said eating his last nacho

"Yeah but that wasn't Myers that was some damn cop or whatever the hell he was that got his head taken off." Rogue said

"Oh yeah...Wait you seen that movie too?" Matthew asked Finally taking his eyes off the movie and Looking at Rogue

"Yeah I seen it. Wasn't to happy about it afterwards though." Rogue said curling her nose

"But you have to admit it was Pretty funny when Busta was cussing out Myers dressed just like him." Matthew said smiling

"OK that part I liked. The rest just sucked." Rogue said turning back to the screen

"What movie do you want to see next?" Matthew asked looking at her as she watched the movie

"How about Underworld?" (3) Rogue asked eating the last of the popcorn

"I was hoping you would say that." Matthew said kissing Rogue

"OK date number three is planned." Rogue said before Kissing him back

So they sat and finished watching the movie. Kissing every once in a while. When it was over they headed home and went to their room and got ready for bed. Everyone else was already asleep say for Logan who like always was in the danger room. The couple lay in bed like they always did. Only this time Matthew wasn't wearing a T-shirt while Rogue laid her head on his chest.

"Thanks for doing this." Rogue said

"No need to thank me. I told you if they ever got to loud just to let me know." Matthew said kissing her on the crown of her head

"We sure did go at it today didn't we?" Rogue asked with a slight laugh in her voice

"Yeah must have been something in the pool water. Did you really mean it when you said you wanted me to do that more often?" Matthew asked as he played with her hair

"Either you do it or I do it myself." Rogue said with a smirk

"Wait a minute you masturbate?" Matthew asked sounding surprised

"What the hell do you think? I haven't been able to touch anyone in forever of course I get myself off." Rogue said looking up to him

"I bet you thought about Scott when you did it didn't you?" Matthew said with a smirk

"Shut up I did not!" Rogue said slapping his arm and blushing

"Hey I ain't going to tell anyone. I know how much you used to like him. Why didn't you ever try to tell him though?" Matthew asked looking at her

"Because I know I wasn't his type. I mean Look at Jean. She is little miss perfect. No way I could ever compete with her. Plus the fact he is a major horndog. But I don't care about that anymore. I got me someone a million times better than Scott could ever be." Rogue said with a smirk

"Where is he? I'll kill him!" Matthew said jokingly

"Oh shut up! You know who I am talking about." Rogue said leaning in and Kissing him Matthew grabbed her rear and squeezed

"I have a pretty good idea who it is." Matthew said smiling

"I love you Matthew." Rogue said kissing him again

"I love you too Marie." Matthew said as she pulled away from her kiss

"Goodnight" Rogue said as she laid her head back down on his chest

"Goodnight " Matthew said kissing her on the crown of her head and wrapping his arms around her


There they slept. Matthew holding onto Rogue and Rogue sleeping on his chest with a faint smile on her face.


1. My favorite line from that movie. Doc Holiday says it when people are looking at him while he is coughing his damn lungs up and drunk as hell. If you have not watched it you should do so. Dennis Quaid is just fucking awesome as Doc Holiday. Tombstone is good to but I like this version of Wyatt Earp' s story better. It has more detail. And if you ain't noticed I love detail :)

2. One of the greatest shows ever. A guy and two robots watch shitty movies and blast the hell out of them throughout the whole thing. Comes on every Saturday morning on the Sci-fi channel if i recall it went a good nine or ten seasons which shows how good it really was

3. Looks like this could be the movie vamp and wolf fans been waiting for. It better be good or old Wolfie is going hunting >:( (seen the movie.. it rocked.. i wanna fuck kate B all ways possible now cause of how hot she was in it lmao.. Oh did anyone notice That a certain character Looked Just like Orlock?! freaky huh? lol)
