"Hey you two need to get up! Matt?! Come on your parents are going to be here any minute!" Scott was knocking on Rogue's door so hard his knuckles hurt

"Fuck Off Scott we were up all night!" Rogue said throwing a pillow at the door

"I know I heard you two moaning now open the damn door!" Scott said knocking even louder

"Oh shit he heard us lastnight." Rogue whispered in Matthew's ear

Matthew shot up like a rocket and ran for the door

"You didn't here anything Scott! Now go away we need to get dressed!" Matthew said swinging the door open

"I bet you do!" He said trying to sound smart

Matthew leaned down and growled in Scott's face baring his fangs. Scott's face turned red and he ran off

"You two better hurry Matt's parents are going to be here with some girl in the next hour!" He said as the ran down the hall

Matthew slammed the door and leaned against it

"FUCK FUCK FUCK!!!!!!" He said stomping his foot so hard the floor cracked

"Yeah that seems to be what Scott thinks happened....Oh god now everyone is going to think we had sex lastnight!" Rogue said covering her face with one of her pillows

Matthew growled again

"Why the hell do you keep growling?" Rogue asked still covering her face

"I didn't even realize I was.....I growl? You mean I snort or something right?" He asked raising his brow

"No, you growl.....like a pissed off loin. You just did at Scott that's why he took off. You mean you didn't even realize you where doing it?" She said popping her head out from under the pillow

"No I didn't..well shit I can growl.....lemme try a big one"

Matthew took in a deep breath and Roared sounding like a lion. Jubilee was heard down stairs asking

"WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT?!" Sounding terrified

"Holy shit cool!" Matthew said looking a little shocked at himself

"Damn you sure you never noticed? You been doing that a lot since we fought that team battle in the danger room." Rogue said getting out of bed and stretching

"Never noticed at all. I just thought I was yelling or snorting." Matthew said while walking over to the bed and sitting on the edge of it

"OH MY GOD! I AM GOING TO KILL SCOTT!" Rogue said turning around and looking pissed

"WHAT?!" Matthew asked jumping up

"IT'S ONLY SEVEN IN THE FUCKING MORNING!" Rogue said pointing to her alarm clock

Matthew laughed and sat back down on the bed

"It's not funny I hate getting up early!.......SHIT!" Rogue said stomping her own foot on the floor now

"What now?!" Matthew asked looking at Rogue

"That Carla girl is going to be here in an hour! What am I going to do? What about your parents? What should I wear? Should I put on my normal make up and everything? What if they don't like me? I want to make a good impression!" Rogue was saying while walking back and forth in her room

"For one the Carla thing..just be yourself...which goes for the rest of that too. I am sure you will make a good impression on my parent's Marie....unless they think Carla is better for me.........SHIT WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO?!!!!" Matthew said jumping up and started pacing the room himself

"I DON'T KNOW!" Rogue yelled throwing her hands in the air

"ME EITHER!!!!" Matthew yelled back

"STOP FUCKING YELLING I AM TRYING TO GODAMN SLEEP!" Tabby yelled popping her head out of her door

"FUCK YOU!" Matthew yelled

"MAYBE LATER!" Tabby snapped back before slamming her door

Matthew took in a deep breath.

"OK we need to calm down. Lets just get cleaned up, put on whatever, go downstairs, and wait for them to show up. We will just be ourselves and hopefully they like us.....and even more hopefully Carla doesn't snap and try to kill us....God I hope they don't run away screaming when they see me!"

"I didn't Matt." Rogue said looking at him

"That was different. You are used to seeing people like me." Matthew said sitting down on the floor Indian style

"I am sure they won't freak. They didn't when Cindy changed so I am sure they won't when they see you." Rogue said sitting next to him and laying her head on his shoulder

"I hope you are right. Then again Cindy just looks like Chiana. I look like a giant vampire zombie......Do you think I should wear my Holo?" he asked while wrapping his arm around her waist

"No, I don't. To tell the truth I like you better like this." She said looking up to him and smiling

"I ever tell you how much I love it when you smile?" He said smiling back before kissing her

"You just did." She said after he kissed her

"Enough playing around you two! Now get ready !" Logan's voice said from the other side of the door

"Yes sir." the couple said at the same time

"Shower or bath?" Matthew asked looking at Rogue

"I'll take a bath you shower. That way we can get ready faster." Rogue said as she pushed herself off the floor

"OK fine by me." Matthew said jumping up

Forty minutes later the couple came downstairs. Rogue was all gothed up with her green and black clothes she had washed the night before she was also wearing her necklace. Matthew was wearing his black boots, leather pants, and a black cradle of filth T-shirt. They walked into the rec room where everyone else was already waiting.

"What the hell are all you doing in here?" Matthew asked when he walked in

"No way am I missing the chance to meet your parents Matt." Jubilee said

"Same with the rest of us man." Bobby said

Matthew noticed Bobby was holding Amara's hand. He gave them a funny look and Amara spoke

"What's the problem?" She asked looking at Matthew

"You two are holding hands that's the problem. What happened?" Rogue asked sitting down on the couch

"There is no Problem. Bobby finally told me how he felt without making it sound like a joke." Amara said looking at Rogue

"Here I thought fire and ice didn't mix. Good to know you finally got the balls Bobby. Because if you didn't soon I was going to tell her myself." Matthew said sitting down on the arm of the couch next to Rogue.

"We all know you would too Matthew." Jean said with a smirk

"So what is the game plan anyway?" Kurt asked

"I want everyone to just be themselves." Matthew said looking at everyone in the room

"Where is Logan? " Rogue asked looking around the room

"He is on his way back from the airport." Storm said

"How did that thing we talked about go Hank?" Matthew asked looking at the Large man

"Oh yes that...Well it went quite well actually." He said smiling

"See I told you!" Matthew said smiling back

"What are you two talking about?" Rogue asked looking at the two men

"Guy stuff.......I'll tell you later" He said the last part whispering in her ear

Rogue nodded

"What are you going to do about that girl Matthew?" Scott asked

"I think I am going to just wing it and hope I don't hurt her to much. Though I don't think that will work to well. Just have a sedative ready Hank." Matthew said with a sigh

"Yes, of course." Hank said in response

There was the sound of the jeep pulling up outside. Everyone shot up and looked around the room like they where waiting for someone to make the first move. Matthew and Rogue sighed and got up and walked into the lobby of the mansion. Everyone walking close behind them. Logan walked through the makeshift doors. he gave everyone a funny look then said

"Don't just fuck around. Evan, Scott help the Ballard's with their bags...Hank go get a sedative ready..." Logan said looking at the larger man

Everyone did what Logan asked. A man about the same build as Logan only taller walked in. He had gray temples and glasses with a five o'clock shadow, Behind him a woman with frosted Blond hair came in behind him. They where followed By a very attractive teenage girl with short red hair She had freckles on her nose and light green eyes. Rogue walked behind Matthew and peeked her head out from behind him when everyone walked in. The girl stopped in her tracks when she saw Matthew. Who had his hands in his pockets to hide his clawed hands. The girl dropped her bags and ran over to Matthew hugging him tightly and started to cry.

"IT IS YOU! OH MY GOD I MISSED YOU SO MUCH!!!!" She said crying her eyes out

Matthew didn't move one inch. He just looked behind him at Rogue then back to the girl holding onto him for dear life. He then looked at The woman who had just walked in and gave her a look that said "please get her off me." She nodded and walked over to the girl

"Carla Honey you need to go put your things away OK? Follow Logan and he will show you to your room. You can talk to Matthew after you get squared away." The lady said putting her hands on the crying girls shoulder's

Carla let go of Matthew and wiped away her tears and nodded. Logan picked up her bags and told her to follow him. When they had left the room The man that had walked in talked

"Boy you sure did get big! Now where is this Rogue girl Cindy has been talking our ears off about?" The man said looking around the room

Rogue walked out from behind Matthew.

"I am right here Mister Ballard." She said looking very nervous

"Oh don't call me that. My names Joey everyone calls me Joe though....Is Rogue your real name or just a nic name you got?" he asked smiling

". My name is Marie. But everyone calls me Rogue." She said still looking nervous

"Well, you sure are a pretty little thing." The Woman said smiling

"Thank you Misses Ballard." Rogue said blushing

"My name is Regina but you can just call me Mama everyone else does." The woman said leaning in to hug Rogue

Rogue backed away and the two older people gave her a strange look.

"I am sorry...it's nothing personal...When people touch my skin they get hurt....." Rogue said looking ashamed

"But Cindy tells me you and Matt are always kissing each other...." Joe said giving her a funny look

"That's because I am immune to her power. I block powers through touch so I can kiss Marie without getting hurt. You can still hug her just don't touch her bare skin OK?" He said the last part looking at Rogue

"Ohh OK. Well, is that all you can do?" Joe asked looking at his "son"

Matthew told his "parents" about his powers. He then took out his hands from his pockets. Showing them his nails which Rogue had painted black.

"Well, you're just a regular powerhouse ain't ya?" Joe asked laughing

"You could say that... You aren't put off by the way I look?" He asked looking at his Parents

"Hell na. You ain't no different from your sister so why should we?" Joe said smiling he looked behind Matthew and saw Kurt hiding behind Scott

"You must be KURT! Now come on out from behind that boy and say hello to me!" Joe said with a big grin

"Hello Mister Ballard." Kurt said while holding his tail something he tended to do when he was nervous

"You're Marie's Brother right?" Regina asked walking over to him

"I am her foster brother ." he said still playing with his tail

"Well, then very nice to meet you Kurt." Regina said smiling

"You to ma'am." Kurt said finally looking up and smiling

"Now are the rest of you going to introduce yourselves or am I going to have to play guess who?" Joe said looking at everyone

Everyone introduced themselves. To which Matthew's Father shook everyone's hand and his Mother hugged everyone. Hank walked into the room when they where done

"I have that sedative you as.......Oh my goodness....I will go now." Hank said turning around and starting to walk off

"Hold it there! You are Hank right?!" Joe said running up to Hank

"Yes, sir I am. You must be Matthew's father correct?" Hank said turning to the man

"Yeah that's me. I hear you are a doctor..How did you manage to get a degree with well you know. I ain't trying to say anything mean or nothin I am just curios that's all." Joe said looking at Hank

"Ohhhh.... I used to only have large hands and feet. Then there was an accident in my lab that caused my mutation into what you see before you. If you wish to ask me anything else about mutations or ask the students about their powers feel free to do so. I only ask you do not share the information you learn with anyone outside this institute."

Hank said as he kept walking away from the group in the lobby with Joe right beside him

"Ok I can do that..Is there anyone else I should now about? Like Marie's powers?" Joe asked looking very serious

"No, She has a very unique mutation. Which had caused her to distance herself from others for the last three years of her life. She was growing ever more depressed. In fact I feel if your son had not shown up she may have become suicidal ."

"Why would she go and do something stupid like that?" Joe asked putting his hand on Hank's arm and stopping him in the processes

"We all have gift's and abilities that we can have a normal life outside of. However her abilities have forced her to not be able to have a normal life like the rest of us. She was forced to live with her mutation. She can never touch another person for the rest of her life because if she does she could kill them."

"She only said they got hurt." Joe said looking confused

"Yes, only if they touch her for a moment.. However if the person is in contact with her skin for to long they will die. If that happens she absorbs their personality. She may seem like a happy girl to you now but only a short time ago she was fighting to keep herself sane. She has been forced to use her abilities many times in the past three years and their are many personalities fighting for control of her mind. She lost control once and we nearly lost her to those personalties...Now however it seems she is finally winning her battle with the strength Matthew has given her. He looked past her mutation and gave her the thing she needed more than anything. He gave her his love."

"They really love each other? But they are both so young how can they know what that is?" Joe said

"Their lives have forced them to grow up fast. The Matthew you just met has had a very hard life. He has lost everyone he ever cared about in a very short amount of time and was threw away by the family he had left. Rogue on the other hand never had a childhood at all. The people that said they cared for her only used her as a tool to meet their own ends. When they met something just clicked. it happened sooner with Matthew than with Rogue. She has a hard time trusting people but when he did earn her trust she feel for him hard. After that they never left each other's side ."

"How did he earn her trust ?"

"Now that is a story that I could go on about for days. But I will make it as simple as possible. He put his life on the line for her many times and never asked for anything in return. He even died to protect her and somehow he was able to come back to save her. If that is not a sign of his love for her I do not know what it." Hank said with a smile

"What do you mean he died? That Logan guy said they just made a mistake that he was fine." Joe said looking VERY confused

"Oh no he did die. He was in a battle with a very powerful Mutant and was killed....right in front of Rogue. He told me he was dead for twelve hours and was somehow able to come back so he could save her."

"Could it have anything to do with his powers? Maybe he just like went into a deep sleep or something" Joe asked

"No, he died. The Professor felt his mind pass. Logan also said Matthew smelled like he was dead when he saw him after he came back. As for it having something to do with his mutation. No, that is not possible he may have a very high regenerative ability but nothing powerful enough to keep him alive after suffering so many fatal injuries. Well not as far as I know anyway "

"This is just getting weirder and weirder. I mean one day my daughter gets superpowers. Next thing I know people are telling me my son from another world has died and come back to life and that he is in love with a girl who can't touch anyone but him. This shit is stranger than fiction. I knew we shouldn't have brung Carla. She is going to be heart broken when she finds out Matthew doesn't like her like my son did." Joe said looking a little pissed

"We can trust Matthew to let her know the best way he can. If she goes into hysterics I will give her a sedative until she is able to calm herself. Now if you will excuse me I have some work to attend to. Have a good day Sir" Hank said nodding his head and walking off

"You too Doc." Joe said walking off

Twenty minutes later everyone had gone back to their daily routine. Matthew, Rogue, Carla, and Matthew's Parents where in the rec room. Like Matthew had asked Rogue was sitting next to him but not close enough to be touching him. Carla on the other hand was sitting right next to him. Matthew's Parents where sitting on the couch in front of them in front of the three teenagers. Matthew could tell Rogue was doing her best not to lash out and kick Carla's ass for hanging all over him. Matthew wanted to hug Rogue so bad at that moment and tell her how sorry he was for all this but he knew if he did Carla would have a total emotional break down right there. So he waited till Carla looked away and put his hand on Rogue's knee and mouthed the word sorry before Carla turned back. Joe was watching all this happen and was fighting the urge himself to tell Rogue he was sorry. After everything Hank had told him about the girl he felt terrible for letting Carla come with them. He had no idea about what she had been through if he had he would never have allowed his wife to call Carla. Finally Regina spoke

"How did you meet Marie?" His mother asked

"Oh..umm...Well she was the first person I met when I came here. I was just standing outside the gate and she walked up and asked "Who in da hell are you gray boy ?" " Matthew said looking at Rogue

"That doesn't sound very nice." Carla said

"Well, he just popped up infront of the place in a big flash of light at eleven o'clock at night. I was in a bad mood anyway. He was real sweet to me though even though I was being rude with him." Rogue said glaring at Carla for a moment

"What can I say. Mama always told me to be polite to a lady no matter what. I am just glad you didn't kick my ass when I broke down the gate ." He said laughing

"I was to shocked to do that. I mean one minute you are telling me you know my name the next you stumble and rip the thing right out of the concrete wall." Rogue said looking at Matthew

"How did you know her name?" Carla asked

"Do you mind if I tell them Marie?" Matthew said looking at Rogue She nodded

Matthew told them everything about his life before he came to their world. He could feel something about Carla change when he was finished

"You mean we never..you know and you never...." Was all Carla was able to say

"Right. Our mothers stop talking and everything when we where around ten or so. I have not seen or heard about you since. I only knew about the whole navy thing because one of my friends told me."

"Then you never loved me where you are from?" She asked her face becoming red with tears

Matthew sighed and looked at everyone else in the room. They nodded and left. Rogue patted Matthew on the shoulder and to his surprise did something else as well

"Carla..... I am sorry. Please don't hate him for this..and don't think I don't understand what you are going through. Because I lost him too...."She said before turning around to leave the room

"Carla I need you too look at me OK?" he said touching her chin and rasing her face to meet his

"What is it? You want to tell me you never loved me..that you don't even care about me now?" She said starting to cry

"NO!...Listen I never told anyone but I really cared about you once. The whole reason I even found out about what you had been through in my world was because I had finally got the nerve to find you myself and see if we could have a relationship. But I was to late and you where gone. I was tore up about it for a long time. I had just gotten over it when I came here. I found Marie and we feel in love. I didn't even know you existed here. I am sorry all this has happened to you..but I am here now and I want to be your friend. I know you want more but I can't give that to you...Please don't hate me Carla....."

Carla wanted so bad to hurt him right then. She knew he wasn't the boy she had loved her whole life. But he looked so much like him, sounded like him. He was looking at her like he used to when they where kids and to young to know they loved each other. He even held her face like he used to when she would cry. But she knew it wasn't him. He was happy with someone and was offering her his friendship so she wouldn't feel as hurt. She forced down her anger and spoke.

".....OK I will be friends with you. I just want you to know I will still love you like I have my whole life. I lost you before and I don't want to again... So I will be friends with you now....Maybe I won't hurt as much anymore ." She said starting to cry even more

Matthew wanted to wip away her tears hug her and say he was sorry for hurting her but he knew if he did she would take it the wrong way. He also knew Rogue would as well. So he simply patted her knee and walked away. He felt terrible. He loved Marie more than anything but seeing Carla like that made him feel worse than anything in his life ever had. He walked outside and let out the biggest Roar he could. He heard someone run outside when he did this

"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT IS SABERTOOTH BACK?" Logan said running up beside Matt and letting his claws spring forth

"No that was just the sound of someone breaking a lifelong friend's heart into a thousand pieces." Matthew said with his voice heavy with a mix of anger and sadness

"So you told her then?" Logan said while pulling his claws back into his forearm

"Yes, I told her..and I don't think I will ever forgive myself for doing it either...I hate to see a girl cry and knowing it was my fault is even worse..But seeing her cry like that and the look on her face.....I will never forgive myself.."

"Want to go to the danger room and kick the shit out of something? Always helps me." Logan said putting his hand on Matthew shoulder

"Sounds good to me..." Matthew said putting his hands in his pockets and letting out a sigh

Rogue came outside and walked up next to Matthew

"You tell her?" Rogue asked looking at Matthew

"Yeah..is she OK?" Matthew asked looking at Rogue

"Not really. She is crying her eyes out. Piotr and Jean are trying to calm her down. I swear that Russian is just a big softy under all that muscle. He's in there holding her hand and everything....What are we going to do now? I sure ain't going to be kissing and hugging you in front of her now. She looks like she will totally go ape shit if i did something like that" Rogue said

Matthew turned and looked at Rogue for a minute he looked like he was thinking about something. Then he wrapped his arms around her and kissed her hard lifting her off the ground when he did this. Rogue let out a yelp of surprise then fell into the kiss. Logan snorted and turned away from the couple. He lowered her back down to the ground and kissed her one more time before letting her go.

"WHERE THE HELL DID THAT COME FROM?!" She said with her eyes big as basketballs and her face beet red from blushing and shock

"I told Carla the truth and I may feel like shit for hurting her feelings but I am not going to let you suffer because of it. No way in hell are you going to be denied the right to touch me because she can't handle the fact we love each other. You and me both been through enough shit. We shouldn't have to hide our feelings for each other." Matthew said with a very serious look on his face which had a slight hint of anger

"But you said..."

"I know what I said Marie. I just realized doing that was in no way near fair to you no matter what the reason. I forget sometimes what you have been through. I forget because we can touch each other..that you may never be able to touch anyone else. I will never ask you to do something like that again. I promise!" Matthew said holding Rogue's hands

"Matthew it wasn't that big of a deal don't worry about it." Rogue said looking up to him

"Yes it was...It was selfish of me to even consider asking you to do something like that I am sorry." he said looking very ashamed of himself

"It's OK Matthew don't worry about it I am not mad at you or anything. I accept your apology though. So now what do you want to do?"She asked still blushing from his surprise attack

Matthew bent down and kissed her again.

"I am off to beat the shit out of some bots in the danger room. Want to watch?" He said raising a brow

"SURE!" Rogue said smiling

"Fine then if you two little love crows are finished lets head on to the danger room. Kid you are going to have to wear some sweats. Your new uniform hasn't been finished yet."

"Fine by me. Let me go get some on you two go ahead on to the danger room ."

Everyone walked inside. Rogue and Logan headed for the elevator and Matthew walked up to Rogue's room. Piotr was waiting infront of it looking rather pissed. He walked up to Matthew and wouldn't move out of his way when Matthew tried to walk by him

"What the fuck is your problem tin man?" Matthew asked

"You are my problem Comrade. I demand you go apologize for whatever you said to that girl right now." Piotr said looking very angry

"Look you don't know what is going on. So please just get out of my way before I move you myself." Matthew said growling

"I will not move." Piotr said turning into his steel form

"You don't know what you are getting into. I didn't say anything wrong to her dammit. I told her the truth and she just couldn't handle it now I am going to ask you one last time to move or I am going to move you myself." Matthew said

"Not until you apologize." Piotr said crossing his arms

Matthew growled and grabbed Piotr's arm. Piotr felt slightly dizzy then realized he was back to his normal human form. Matthew picked him up and moved him out of the way.

"HOW DID YOU DO THIS?!" he said looking at his hands

"Next time I suggest you find out what kind of power someone has before you try to play peacemaker tin man. If you feel so bad for Carla tell her yourself don't try and force me to make her feel better" Matthew said as he walked into Rogue's room and shut the door.

* I knew he could block Rogue's power.but others as well? His grip hurt even while i was in my metallic form..Maybe i should try and cheer up Carla.*

Piotr though to himself before heading back downstairs to find the girl in question. Matthew walked out of the room and headed for the elevator. When he got into the danger room Logan was in there waiting beside the panel while Rogue was no where to be seen.

"Where is Marie?!" He asked when he entered the large room

"I am up here Matt!" Rogue's voice said over the intercom

"Oh ok!" he said

"So what program you want to run?" Logan asked walking over to Matthew

"That Juggernaut one. I think that's the only one hard enough to give me a real challange..The bot was fixed right?" Matthew asked Logan

"Oh it's fixed. You sure you want to use that one? Forge improved it's body so it might be harder to take out ." Logan said while walking over to the panel

"Yeah I am sure just start the program." Matthew said getting into a fighting stance

The room shifted into the familiar steel mill. Juggernaut came crashing through the wall.

"YOU AGAIN?! I ALREADY KICKED YOUR ASS ONCE FREAK!" The bot said when it saw Matthew

"That's not how I remember it. But if you want to give it another go shorty bring it on!" Matthew yelled adding a loud growl when he was finished talking

The Juggernaut bot charged Matthew..Matthew charged the bot as well and they collided with a thunderous crack. They ended up in a powerstruggle with neither man moving an inch. Matthew cracked a smile

"HOW DID YOU GET SO TOUGH FREAK?" the bot yelled

"THAT'S A LONG STORY NOW SHUT UP AND FIGHT ME!"

Matthew said tightening his grip ripping his claws into the bots knuckles. It flinched and pushed hard again him. Matthew fell back and pushed his legs into the bots stomach sending it flying over him into a wall behind them. It hit the wall with a loud crash and hit the ground. It pushed itself up and dusted itself off.

"YOU DIRTY LITTLE BASTARD!" the bot yelled

Then it charged at Matthew again. Right before it hit him Matthew threw a punch connecting right into Juggernaut's face plate denting it and sending him flying back into the same wall. Matthew charged and speared the bot back into the wall when it pushed itself back up.

"TOUGH LITTLE FUCK AIN'T YA?!" The bot said with a grin

The bot punched Matthew in the stomach sending him stumbling back a few steps. It then charged and punched him again right in the face. Matthew went flying all the way across the mill crashing through a gigantic steel drum and hit the wall on the other side in a heap.

"THAT'S WHAT YOU GET FREAK!" It yelled

The bot charged over to Matthew and brung it's knee into his face sending his body back into the wall a good foot. It started stomping and kicking Matthew violently

"STOP THE PROGRAM LOGAN IT'S KILLING HIM!" Rogue yelled over the intercom

Once she said this Matthew shot his hand up and grabbed the bots leg and twisted its foot all the way around. It screamed in pain and feel back holding its foot. Matthew got to his feet and stood over the bot

"That was a good warm up now lets get serious.......What did I play with you to hard? Stop crying like a little bitch and fight Cain!"

Matthew said bringing his foot down into the bots stomach hard. The ground under the bot cracked then caved in a good two feet. Juggernaut screamed in pain.

"Oh come on I want to fight dammit!"

Matthew picked up the bot by the shirt with one arm and brung his fist down hard into its stomach. The bot screamed in pain again

"Stop screaming I ain't even hitting you that hard. here this is me hitting you hard!"

Matthew took his free hand and ripped off Juggernaut's helmet. He then let go of his shirt and punched him in the face as hard as he could before the bot feel back. It's face cracked all the way down the middle and it went flying back across the room into the wall so hard the image in the room went fuzzy for a few seconds.

"Hey Kid I think we better stop before you break the fucking danger room!" Logan yelled when the room got fuzzy

"Let me hit it one more time and I will be finished!" Matthew yelled

"One more time and that's it we already got to pay to repair the front of the mansion we don't need to have the danger room repaired as well!" Logan yelled back

The bot got back up to its feet and shook its head. It grabbed its foot and twisted it back into place screaming when it did this. It then ran towards Matthew at full speed. Matthew braced himself and grabbed it once it connected with him. They both went flying back into the wall. Matthew still had it in a bear hug and headbutted it hard.

"Give up yet?!" Matthew yelled after the headbutt

"NEVER FREAK!" it yelled back

"OK then say bye bye to your spine!"

Matthew started tightening his grip and bring his arms close to his body. The robot screamed in pain as Matthew felt it's frame start to bend and crack. After a few moments of crushing the bot stopped moving and closed its eyes while sparks flew out its back where a part of its frame and ripped through it's skin. Matthew dropped the bot to the ground and more sparks and a slam fire started where the hole was in it's body. The program ended returning the room back to its normal appearance. Logan walked over to Matthew

"Feel better now?" Logan asked

"Yeah I do...that was easier than I thought it would be.....Sorry I trashed the bot again" Matthew said looking at the bot

"It was easier since you are a hell of a lot tougher than you where when you fought it last time. And don't worry about the bot. It was always to much of an asshole anyway." Logan said with a growl

Rogue came into the room and walked over to the two men.

"Matthew that was awsome!.But don't you dare play possum like that again you scared the hell out of me!" Rogue said curling her nose trying her best to look angry even though she wasn't

"Sorry about that. I won't do it again. So what do we do now?" Matthew asked

"You two get out of here and let me clean up this mess. Go talk with your parents or something.......just steer clear of that Carla girl. I don't feel like hearing any more damn crying today ." Logan said

"OK then " Rogue said turning around and walking out of the room

Matthew ran up behind her and slapped her on the rear and ran off. Rogue let out a yelp and ran after him

"YOU BETTER RUN!" She said chasing after him

"YOU KNOW YOU LIKED IT!" he said laughing

She was catching up to him when he turned around and caught her. He kissed her sliding his tongue into her mouth. She let out a low moan of pleasure and kissed him back in the same way. Matthew smiled leaned down putting his arm under her legs and picked her up. Rogue laughed and wrapped her arms around his neck. He kissed her again and walked to the elevator. They reached the ground level of the mansion and walked out. Matthew's father was walking by and saw them walk out.

"HOWDY PA!" Matthew said in a hillbilly accent while still holding Rogue in his arms.

"HOWDY SON! (1)" Joe said laughing

"Hello !" Rogue said smiling

"Hello to you Marie. Where were you two at? Me and ya mama want to go out to eat and we want you two to come." He said smiling

"Is Carla coming?" Rogue asked

"Na she is off looking around the place with some big ass Russian boy. I don't know what the hell he did but he managed to stop her from crying." Joe said

"OK then I will go..What about you Matt?" Rogue asked looking at Matthew

"Well, Of course I am going!.......Where are you going to eat?" Matthew asked

"Some place that Logan guy told me about on the way here. He said the ribeye was the best in town so I want to give it a try. if you want to go you better go get some clothes on fast I am ready to leave." Joe said rubbing his stomach to show he was starving

"OK I will be right back. You wait right here OK Marie?" Matthew said putting letting Rogue down

"OK then just Hurry I am starving too!" Rogue's stomach rumbled when she said that

"Sorry...." She said

Joe laughed

"You don't have to say you are sorry about something like that!" Joe said

Matthew laughed himself. He kissed Rogue again before running up stairs. Rogue was now alone with Matthew's Father in the hall

"You two sure did seem happy just now." Joe said smiling

"Yeah."

Rogue said she was still real nervous around Matthew's parents and had not looked up to them when she spoke to them

"No need to be nervous Marie. I can see you two love each other... Is he good to you?" Joe asked

"GOD YES!..... I mean yes sir. He is very nice to me...better than anyone else really." She said finally looking up to Matthew's father

"I see. How long have you two been dating? "Joe asked leaning against the wall

"We started dating around a week after we met...." She said blushing a little

"That was kind of fast wasn't it?" he asked raising his brow

"Yeah kinda. But well he did technically know me for three years before I finally met him. Plus I did already love him by then..Which was a total shock to me when I realized I did. I don't know how that happened to fast. I was just coming back from the mall with him and it hit me like a shot you know?"

"I think I can..sounds like you got hit by cupid full force out of nowhere. Have you two been on a date yet?" Joe asked

"Yeah. We went to Ozzfest. We had a great time..well till we got jumped anyway." Rogue said

"YOU GOT JUMPED?! WHAT HAPPENED?!" Joe asked looking shocked

"Some guy wanted me too go see someone he worked for and I said no so he punched me and knocked me out. Matthew got real angry. which is why he now has those claws and fangs. Plus those weird shadows over his eyes..Anyway Matthew beat the hell out of the guy and two of his friends. He got hurt himself though and ended up in the hospital.......He put the guy who hit me in a coma." Rogue said

"Damn sounds like he got my temper after all. Why did he end up in the hospital?"

"He broke four of his ribs and one of his lungs collapsed. Funny thing is after he was out of surgery he called to check on me." Rogue said smiling a little

"Well, sounds to me like he cares more about you than he does himself..Wait if he had that kind of surgery how is he up walking about now?"

"We don't know really. One day he still has an incision wound the next there is nothing but a scar. It confused the hell out of Hank till he figured Matthew's healing abilities just kicked in."

"I see...and what's this about you two being the only couple sharing a room?" He asked with a smirk

Rogue blushed beet red then

"......I..uh......" Was all Rogue could say

Joe laughed

"That's OK if you are to embarrassed to tell me you don't have to." he said still laughing

"No...I....Well..Ok see The Professor moved him to my room to keep and eye on me so no one would have a chance to kidnap me..You know like what happened when Cindy called you?" Rogue finally managed to say

"Yes, But he is still sharing a room with you." Joe said

"I know...I am getting to that...Well anyway after he saved me and all that weird stuff happened Logan said he earned the right to share a room with me. So he talked The Professor into letting him stay with me. We have only shared my room a couple of nights though. For some reason everyone seems to like to barge in on us in the morning. It has already happened three times." Rogue said

"But you said you only shared a room twice so far."

"Well,...see I fell asleep in his room and Logan walked in and woke us up and threw off the covers..........God that was embarrassing." She said blushing again thinking about Logan seeing her flat on her stomach with her ass for all the world to see in her thong

"Why was that embarrassing? .....OH! I am sorry!" he said

:"NO NO! I wasn't naked.....just.nevermind . God why the hell did I even tell you that." Rogue said covering her face in her hands

"HEY I AM READY LETS EAT!" Matthew said coming down the hall

*THANK YOU GOD!* Rogue thought when he came down the hall

"About time I was about to eat my own arm from hunger! No lets go..........shit who is going to drive us?" Joe said

"Oh I'll drive. Just tell me go ask Logan for directions." Matthew said walking past them

Rogue smiled at Matthew's father then ran after Matt.

"What took you so long? I had to answer very embarrassing questions!" She said slapping him on the arm playfully

"Sorry about that...What did he ask you?" Matthew said looking at Rogue

"Everything but if we had sex yet. I was expecting him to ask when we where going to start making him some grandbabies!" Rogue said curling her nose

"Ohhhh you don't wana make babies with me?" Matthew said frowning

"Oh shut up!" Rogue said slapping him on the arm again

"There he is!..HE LOGAN WAIT UP!" Matthew said when he saw Logan heading for the kitchen

"What is it kid?" Logan said turning around

"You know that restaurant you told my dad about? Can you give me directions? We are going to eat there and I have no clue what it is called or where it is."

"Oh yeah sure. It's called Grandma Peaches(2)......Don't look at me like that." Logan said

"Sorry just sounds funny you saying a name like that. How did you end up eating at a place called that?" Rogue said

"I smelled the food when I was driving by. Smelt so damn good I didn't give a shit what it was called I just wanted something. I been eating there every chance I get now." Logan said

"Well, it must be good if you keep going back. So how do we get there?" Rogue asked

"Hold on let me write done the directions ..I know you will forget how the hell to get there Matt with your parents talking your ear off ." Logan said as he took out a piece of paper and a pen from the kitchen and wrote down directions.

"Here follow those exactly and you should be able to find it." Logan said handing Matthew the piece of paper

"Thanks. Come on Marie lets get going before my dad does eat his arm." Matthew said turning around

Rogue followed after him. Everyone got into the jeep and Matthew drove off. His father was sitting next to him while Rogue and his mother sat in the back.

"So Marie how long have you been going to the school?" She asked

"Three years. I started going a few months after I found out about my powers." Rogue said looking out the window of the car

"What kind of school is that place anyway? I looked all over the place and never seen any classrooms." Joe asked

"It's not a "school" school. We just go there to live and learn to use our powers. We go to public school during the school year." Rogue said still looking out the window

"Oh I see. What grade are you going to be in this year?" Regina asked

"This is my last year so I am going to be in 12th grade." Rogue said finally Turing to look at the other woman

"I see and how old are you?" Regina asked

"I am seventeen I will be eighteen in October" Rogue said

"Oh then we will have to come back down and throw you a big birthday party!" Regina said

"That's nice of you but Matthew is taking me to New Orleans for my birthday." Rogue said smiling

"Oh and why are you two going there?" Joe asked

"I am taking her so we can see all the old houses. Maybe go ghost hunting. Plus her favorite author lives there and I want to try and get her autograph." Matthew said not even taking his eyes off the road

"Who is the author?" Regina asked looking at Rogue

"Anne Rice." Rogue said

"Oh she is the one who writes those vampire books in first person ."Regina asked

"Yeah how did you know?" Rogue asked looking a little surprised

"Matthew's cousin reads her books all the time. I read them sometimes myself if I am bored. I loved her book The Vampire Lestat." Regina said

"Oh my god that's my favorite too!" Rogue said smiling

"Mine too." Matthew said

"I don't like horror books. I like Civil war book myself." Joe said

"Really?" Matthew asked

"Yeah ...I been doing reenactments for the past two years." Joe said

"Really? You mean dress up in costumes and everything?" Rogue asked popping her head between the two men

"Yeah the whole thing. Cost a shitload of money to get everything but I enjoy it. Unless the weather is real bad since we have to sleep in tents on the battlefield the night before and sometimes the night after. I got sick as hell once when the weather was real bad. Regina almost had to take me to the hospital I was coughing so bad." Joe said

"Well, that's what you get for going when you had a cold you damn stubborn mule." Regina said

Rogue burst out laughing

"Sorry didn't see that coming" She said after calming down enough to talk

"No need to apologize Marie." Regina said laughing a little herself

"I think we are here." Matthew said pulling into a parking lot

"Yeah we are...damn that food smells good!" Joe said getting out of the car

"Yes it does. " Regina said getting out

Everyone walked in.

"This place is packed!" Rogue said looking very nervous

"Don't worry we will make sure no one bumps into you Marie," Matthew said standing very close to her

Matthew's parents stood on either side of Rogue while Matthew stood behind her

"Thanks...." Rogue said still looking a little nervous

"Hello welcome to Grandma Peaches would you like the smoking or none smoking section?" A waitress said walking up to the group

"None smoking please" Regina said

"OK and how many are in your group?" The waitress said

"Four" Rogue said

"OK then follow me please." The waitress said

The waitress walked the group their booth in the far end of the restaurant. Rogue sat next to the wall and Matthew sat next to her. His mother sat infront of Rogue and his father sat infront of him. The waitress handed everyone a menu.

"I will be back shortly to take your order's ." The waitress said before leaving

"Oh they have catfish!(3) " Rogue said smiling.

"That's your favorite right?" Matthew asked

"You bet it is! I have not had it in months!" She said still smiling

"Well, then by all means get it!" Regina said

After everyone figured out what they wanted. Which of course Rogue was getting the catfish. The waitress came back to the table and took their orders.

"I can't believe you ordered all that Matt." Rogue said giving him a funny look

"I know..I am just starving. Hell I ate that whole pizza last night and was still hungry." He said with a laugh

"Yeah but three cheeseburgers and a steak? You're gonna explode!"Rogue said

"Trust me Marie he has eaten more than that sometimes." Regina said with a smile

"Like what?" Rogue asked

"Like I ate six hotdogs and two bowls of chili beans once. I was full for a good two days." Matthew said rubbing his stomach

"You are crazy!" Rogue said

"That's why you love me though!"

Matthew said smiling before kissing her. Rogue blushed beet red when she saw his parents looking at them and smiling brightly.

"Oh that's so cute!" Regina said grabbing her husband's arm

"Reminds me of when we where that young."Joe said

"Stop you are embarrassing me!" Rogue said blushing

Matthew's parents laughed

"You don't need to be embarrassed. He just kissed you infront of us." Regina said smiling

"I know but your his parents.......I never met someone's parents I was dating." Rogue said looking down at the table

"Don't start thinking about Remy you know it only makes you upset." Matthew said putting his arm around her shoulder

"Who is Remy?" Regina asked looking concerned

"He was the first guy I ever dated....he was real mean to me because we couldn't touch. He wouldn't even hold my hand or anything even if I had gloves on."Rogue said laying her head against Matthew's shoulder

"Why would you date someone like that?" Joe asked

"..... I thought he loved me. We where still kinda going out when Matthew showed up." Rogue said looking at Regina

"What happened?" Regina asked

"Remy showed up and was going to Kidnap me for his boss. Matthew stopped him though and scared him off. He told me afterward that Remy was just using me to get into the school." Rogue said looking at Matthew now

"How did you know that Matthew?" Joe asked

"When I got my powers at first they were all wonky. I was able to read Remy's mind but only long enough to find out why he was there and that he didn't care about Rogue at all. I was a little surprised since where I am from they have been a couple for years." Matthew said

"We were?!" Rogue asked sounding surprised

"Yeah....but then again you and Magneto hooked up a few times so that shows how fucked up some of the stories about you are."Matthew said

"But Remy doesn't even seem to really like me now why would I be with him for years?" Rogue asked

"Well, This is a different Remy and Rogue.The one I am talking about did love that Rogue.The one you know is a just a grade a dickhead." Matthew said

"How many Mes do they have where you are from?!" Rogue asked

"A shitload really. I know of atleast four of five off the top of my head...You're the youngest though...and the coolest..and the prettiest and the..."

"OK I get the picture Matt!" Rogue said smiling

"Oh I can't give you complements now?" he asked frowning

"Of course you can." She said still smiling

"God I love it when you smile!"

Matthew said before kissing her again.This time Rogue didn't blush when she saw his Parent's where looking at them

" So what Happened to this Remy fella? Did you tell him off?" Joe asked

"No, Matthew crushed his hand and said the next time he tried to talk to me he would rip em both off. So that took care of him pretty good." Rogue said with a slight grin

"Damn boy you sure do find violent ways to get a point across don't ya?" Joe said with a shocked look on his face

"Well I am very protective of Marie. He said he loved her but he was going to kidnap and let some crazy asshole kill her. What would you have done if it was mama?" Matthew asked

"Same thing you did only I would have ripped em off and stuffed em down his throat." Joe said

"That's what Matt said he would do if he came back." Rogue said

"Well shit I guess the apple don't fall far from the tree after all no matter where you're from." Joe said with a slight laugh

"Stop talking about that your ruining my appetite." Regina said curling her nose

"Speaking of which here comes our food!" Matthew said

After everyone got there food they continued the conversation

"So Matt did you have a girlfriend before Marie where you are from?" Joe asked while eating his ribeye

"No. I was way to shy to talk to a girl I was interested in."

"So how did you manage to talk to Marie?" Regina asked while eating her country fried steak

"We are still trying to figure that one out." Rogue said smiling before taking a huge bit of her catfish

"I see. So you just wasn't shy around her?" Joe asked

"Yeah that's pretty much it. Which is weird since Marie is the most beautiful girl I ever seen. I should have been reduced to a stuttering moron when she first talked to me but I wasn't" He said Kissing Rogue on the cheek

"Stop saying that I am not THAT pretty."Rogue said blushing

"Oh really? Didn't you say every guy at school goes doe eyed when you walk by them?" he asked

"Yes they do." She said

"Didn't you say all the guys at the boardinghouse had a crush on you when you lived there?" he asked raising his brow

"Yes..." She said blushing

"Didn't you tell me even Bobby had trouble talking to you without stuttering when he first came to the school?" he asked now smiling

"Yes..." She said blushing even more

"If you see where I am going with this just let me know because i can go on for hours ." he said laughing

"Ok I get the point I am beautiful.." Rogue said before taking another huge bite of her food

"Good!" Matthew said before taking a huge bite of one of his burger which took out half the burger in question

So everyone sat there eating their food and talking. Matthew's parents would tell stories about him and he would tell them if what happened to him was difrrent.he was surprised to find his life before the wreck was almost exactly like this worlds Matthew. Say for this Matthew's mother never being crippled in a wreck . Plus the dating Carla and having a younger sister instead of an older sister.When they got back to the mansion Matthew's parents sat and talked with the Adults of the mansion while Matthew and Rogue went to their room. The couple were laying on the bed and watching tv.

"How long do you think it will take before Carla gets over all this?" Rogue asked

"I have no clue.Hell Cindy said she just now got over the wreck enough to talk about him without crying. She didn't burst into tears when we walked in holding hands so that is a good sign."Matthew said letting out a sigh

"Did you notice how Piotr was hanging all over her?" Rogue asked looking at Matthew

"Yeah a blind man could have seen that.I told him to make her feel better not try and get in her pants." Matthew said

"You did?" Rogue asked sitting up and turning back to look at Matthew

"Yeah, He confronted me infront of our room and told me to go downstairs and apologize for whatever I said that made her cry.I told him he didn't know what was going on and to stay out of it. Of course he ignored that and went all metallic and ordered me to go say I was sorry."

"What happened?" Rogue asked

"I grabbed his arm and turned him back then moved him out of the way ." Matthew said sitting up

"So your power worked on him too?"

"Yeah. It's kind of funny now that we think about it. You absorb powers through touch and I turn em off. Kind of like two sides of the coin.. I been meaning to ask you. When I touch you do you feel anything weird?....Not like that Marie " he said the last part when she looked at him funny

" Since we been back I noticed when you touch me I don't hear them anymore." Rogue said looking very serious

"Hear who?" Matthew said looking a little confused

"Matt you know what I am talking about." She said with the same serious look

"You mean the people you touched?" he asked

"Yeah....when you hugged me on the jet I couldn't hear them. That's why I was holding on to you so tight. I didn't want it to stop. I was able to finally be alone in my own head for once."

"Do you hear them right now?" Matthew asked

" I always hear them...It's gets real hard to think sometimes they are so loud." Rogue said sounding sad

"I knew you had some memoires .. I didn't know they actually talked ."

"I never really told anyone before..At first yeah it was just the memories but the more I used my power the stronger they got till I started to hear their voices in my head. When you touch me they stop. "

"Are they bothering you right now?"

"Yeah...It's been real bad since Magneto touched me." She said rubbing her temples

"If you want I could help it stop for a while.......No I don't mean like that. Just take off your gloves and we can hold hands that's all." Matthew said holding out his hand to her

Rogue nodded and took of her gloves and put her hand in his. She closed her eyes and sighed.

"Better?" Matthew asked

"Yeah....we are alone now." She said looking relaxed

"Do you want to tell the Professor about them? I am sure he could help you somehow." He said rubbing his thumb over her hand

"He tried to once. It didn't work out." Rogue said frowning

"Why didn't you tell me about all this sooner?" Matthew asked while moving her hair away from her face

"I didn't want you to think I was crazy." She said looking into his eyes

"You know I would never think something like that."

"I know.. I am still trying to get used to being open with you that's all...You know how hard it is for me to trust people..Don't get me wrong I trust you with my life..It's just..I dunno.. I am afraid you won't look at me the same if I let you know everything." She said holding her head down

"Marie there is nothing you can say to me that will change how I feel about you or see you as a person. You can tell me anything. I won't judge you I promise. From now on if something is wrong just tell me ok? If the voices get to strong or anything like that just tell me and we can hold hands till you feel better." He said putting his free hand on her chin and lifting her face to meet his

"Ok..." She said with a faint smile

"Ok then good. Now lets just lay back and watch tv. We can hold hands as long as you want." he said gently squeezing her hand

Rogue smiled a little more then and laid back on the bed with him. He reached over and kissed her gently.

" I love you Marie" he said pulling away from their kiss

"I love you too Matthew." She said now with a big smile

There they laid the rest of the day. Matthew never asking if she was tired of holding hands. Rogue never wanting to let go of him. When it came time to go to bed she feel asleep like she had almost every night since spending the night with him in the hospital. Her head on his chest with his arms wrapped around her. His heartbeat guiding her to sleep.

"So what did you think of her?" Joe asked laying in the guest bed

"Oh I love her! She is such a sweet little thing." Regina said turning to her husband

"Hank told me she was real bad off before Matthew showed up. So bad he was afraid she might try to take her own life." Joe said with a sad look on his face

"Oh my god really? Why would she do such a thing?..Wait is it because she couldn't touch anyone? Or do you think it was because of Remy?"

"Probably a little more the touching thing than Remy. What did you think of them together?" he asked yawning

"Oh they looked perfect together. It was so sweet how she blushed when he kissed her. She was so polite too. I think she was trying to make a good impression." She said yawning herself

"So how long do you think it will be before they make me some grandbabies?" Joe asked smiling

"Damn honey give em atleast a few months before you start thinking about that.Then again after being told everything they went through I would have to kill Matt if he broke that girl's heart. So if anyone is going to be giving you those grandbabies you been wanting they might just be it. Just don't ask Marie if she blushed like that just from him kissing her infront of us talking about sex might make her die of embarrassment."

"Yeah yeah I know. Do you think they will last?" Joe asked

"If anyone can they will. They are made for each other."

"Yeah I hope so..Welp goodnight" Joe said kissing his wife

"Goodnight to you too" Regina said already half asleep

Just like that the mansion was quite.


ok on a side note yes Matthew wore his holo. Beason pointed out i didn't say anything about it....And i couldn't think of a place to slip it in without breaking up the convos i set up even though they don't have a good flow anyway lol

There you go another chapter.. a LONNNGGGGGG one too hehehe I spent over 12 hours on this sucker i hope everyone liked at least some of it.Next chapter should be up in the next 36 hours so don't worry!
