More lovely, lovely sex. Enjoy.
Chapter 25
A day of hiking followed, through the mountains and along the ridges. By the time dinner was over and dishes cleaned, Logan was ready to settle in on the sofa in front of the fire and relax.
He and Kurt had a few things to talk about and he didn’t feel like talking in bed. Not that he wanted to talk about those things at all, but the future lay before them and they needed to know the path they’d walk...together...separate. His heart hurt at the thought.
Kurt snuggled in beside him trying to read a map in nothing more than the fire light.
“That’s bad for your eyes,” Logan said.
“I see very well in the dark,” Kurt replied. He pointed to an area and looked over at Logan. “This was where we went, right? This ridge?”
“That’s where we were. On a clear day with binoculars you can just see the city skyline.”
“I don’t want to see the city. I want to see only mountains and lakes and trees.”
“Kurt,” Logan said matter-a-factly.
Kurt flung a sharp glance at Logan. “You don’t call me by my name very often. What did I do wrong this time?”
“Nothin’,” Logan said, kissing Kurt’s hair. “We just need to talk.”
Kurt let out a held breath. “Is this about what Scott said?”
“Yeah. That and more. We need onsionsider the consequences of our actions.”
Logan felt Kurt stiffen against him. “Shouldn’t we have considered those consequences before we got to this point? Aren’t we a little late now?”
“I know. I did. I thought I did anyway.”
Kurt pulled back and with a hurt expression said, “are you changing your mind? About us?”
Logan realized his mistake instantly. “No. No. That’s not what I’m sayin’ at all.”
“Then what? Cause that’s what it sounds like to me.”
Logan reached and pulled a reluctant Kurt back into the fold of his arm. But the boy’s back was still stiff and Logan felt Kurt trying hard to keep from shaking.
“Let’s get back on track. I’m not sorry about us gettin’ together. I want this to continue, but we’ve got to figure out a way to make this work at the Institute as well. Cause there will be consequences when we get back.”
Kurt swallowed hard and nodded. “I know. I’m sorry. Maybe my insecurity is showing again.”
“There’s nothin’ for you to be insecure about, elf. I mean it. I’m committed to making this work between us. But we both have responsibilities to other people so we have to find a way to maybe compromise.”
“What Scott said, about the other students’ parents. The Professor has said the same to you,” Kurt said. “Am I right?”
Logan nodded. “Yeah, me and the Doc talked about this. The other students may have a problem. And their parents as well. This whole instructor/student relationship makes things hairy.”
“You talked about leaving, didn’t you?”
“Can’t keep nothin’ from you, elf.”
“I don’t want you to leave, not on my account. We need you, Logan. All of us need your experience. Your courage. Your...spontaneity.”
“That’s a nice word for recklessness.”
“Maybe, but sometimes we need that as well.” Kurt slid his hand into Logan’s. “Leaving is not an option.”
“So, if I don’t leave the Institute, but we still want to see each other, what do we do?”
Kurt stared into the fire and shrugged. “I don’t know, Logan. It’s no longer a secret. We can’t go back to hiding.”
They sat in pensive silence and Logan wished all this was easier. He hadn’t cared for anyone like this in so long. Why did the circumstances have to be so complicated?
Logan slid a hand down Kurt’s cheek and turned the boy’s face towards his. “We need to think about this and try to figure a solution, one that includes you and me together...okay?”
Kurt nodded, but an anxious expression still lingered. Logan had every intention of kissing that anxiety away.
He pulled Kurt closer and his lips caught Kurt’s in wanting desire. He let his hand roam down Kurt’s side to his hip and stroked the base of Kurt’s tail.
Kurt moaned against Logan’s mouth, hands grasping to hold on. “I think sometimes,” Kurt said, pulling back a little. “That when you kiss me, you want to take a bite.”
“Sometimes,” Logan replied, pulling Kurt down again and gently biting his earlobe. “I do want to take a bite.” Kurt laughed and squirmed in his arms.
“Where you think you’re goin’?” Logan growled into Kurt’s ear, pulling Kurt closer.
“I don’t want to be anywhere but right here,” Kurt purred back. “But you are crinkling the map.”
Logan grabbed the map and tossed it onto the floor. “Screw the map.”
***************
Kurt listened to the beating of Logan’s heart beneath his ear, the strong pulse comforting in its consistency. He let his fingers trail along Logan’s chest, up to the shoulder and across Logan’s jaw. Logan turned his face and kissed Kurt’s hand.
Kurt turned a smile up to his lover and kissed Logan’s neck. Logan’s arm pulled him closer, fingers stroking his hair.
How were they going to make this work at the Institute? How could they have this and keep everyone happy at home?
They couldn’t.
Kurt sighed. He didn’t want to think about this now, not here while they were in bed, recovering from phenomenal sex. There was always tomorrow to figure a way to appease everyone.
Leaning up on an elbow, Kurt gazed down on Logan. The dark eyes were closed now and the hard set of jaw had softened with satiation.
“What are you lookin’ at, elf?” Logan said without opening his eyes.
“Just enjoying the view,” Kurt replied and drew his finger over Logan’s lips. Again, Logan kissed it.
“I think you’re lookin’ for trouble.”
“Maybe,” Kurt said teasingly. “Is your name trouble?”
Logan’s hand stroked down Kurt’s back, sending a tingle of anticipation down his spine.
“You better believe it,” Logan growled and pulled Kurt down for a long hard kiss.
Kurt moaned and maneuvered until he lay on top of Logan. He pulled back and sat astride his lover, gazing down with a wicked expression.
“Well, this could be interesting,” Logan said. “Now that you’re up there you think you know what to do?”
Kurt cocked his head sideways. “I think I can figured it out.” He slid his hands up Logan’s chest and bent down for a kiss. Logan’s fingers moved through Kurt’s hair and held on.
Finally, Kurt pushed back again and rose up, maneuvering himself over Logan’s hard cock.
“You sure you know what you’re doin’, sweetheart?” Logan asked, but he smiled and relaxed back against the pillows.
“No, but I’m going to try it anyway.”
“Go for it.”
Kurt took a deep breath and leaned back, letting Logan’s cock press against his hole, pushing in. The pressure mounted until Kurt feared he’d made a mistake trying this position. He gasped and let out a held breath and felt the passing ease, filling him up until he sat flat against Logan.
Logan’s hands stroked his thighs, running up to his hips and back down again.
“You okay, elf? You look dazed.”
And he did feel a little dizzy, probably from holding his breath too long. “I’m...fine. Oh, this is different.”
“Bad differentgoodgood different?” Logan sounded concerned, but also loath to stop what they had started.
“I’ll...tell you in a...moment.” Kurt shifted his weight and leaned forward, adjusting the angle. “Oh!”
“Is that a good oh or a bad oh?” Logan asked, his hands now gripping Kurt’s hips as if ready to help him off if necessary.
Kurt looked down and smiled. “Definitely good.”
Logan looked relieved. Reaching up, Logan took Kurt’s face into his hands and pulled him down. The kiss was as deep as Logan’s cock inside him. Sensation washed over Kurt, sending a tingling pleasure down his limbs and into his groin. He moaned against Logan’s mouth and shifted his weight again, rewarding himself with another splash of sensual sensation.
With a push, Kurt sat back again. He gazed down on his lover and Logan gazed back with eyes half closed. Logan licked his lips and worked to control his breathing.
“You just gonna sit there and torture me, elf?”
Kurt smiled. “I think we’ve had enough of that to last a lifetime, thank you very much.”
He rose up and slid back down. Logan groaned and hands wandered over his thighs and hips. Within a few moves, he and Logan were in rhythm, riding that fine line of pleasure together. Kurt felt his cock swelling again, but the ride was too good to interrupt.
Logan’s cock grew harder and his hands on Kurt’s hips were vices helping Kurt up and dragging him back down. Their speed increased and Kurt felt the world tilt, colors splashing across his inner sight, stars streaking across the night sky behind his closed eyes. When Logan came it was like an explosion and Kurt didn’t want to stop, the sensations coursing through his body fulfilling every need he’d ever imagined. But they finally slowed and Logan slid a hand up his back and into his hair, pulling him down.
Breathlessly they kissed and kissed again, deep abiding kisses full of devotion and want. Kurt gasped against Logan’s mouth, dizzy from lack of oxygen, but still the pleasure pulsed in his veins and raged through his body. His cock throbbed, stimulated by his and Logan’s movement.
Logan seemed to sense his need. “Sit back up, sweetheart and I’ll help you with that.”
Kurt pushed up and grinned sheepishly. “It seems to have a mind of its own.”
“They all do, kid. They all do.”
Logan grasped Kurt’s cock and stroked. Kurt leaned back and closed his eyes, that sensation soaring through him again. He rocked slowly, still impaled on Logan’s cock and let the pleasure permeate every fiber of his being. Too soon, he felt his orgasm rising, the climax cascading through his groin, pumping out of him with each stroke of Logan’s expert grip.
Spent, Kurt rose up and rolled off of Logan, his head spinning and his heart pounding. Logan cleaned them up and gathered Kurt into strong arms.
“That was...sensational, sweetheart,” Logan growled into his ear, biting gently on the lobe. “We’ll have to work to top that one.”
Kurt turned his face and kissed Logan’s mouth. “If...it gets any better than...this, I’m going to...die of it.”
Logan chuckled. “Don’t you dare. I’m not done with you yet and don’t plan on bein’ for some time.”
“Are you sure you won’t grow tired of me?” Kurt asked teasingly. “I have been known to annoy you on occasion.”
Logan raised up on an elbow and gazed down on him. With a gentle hand, Logan smoothed the hair from Kurt’s face and ran a finger down his cheek.
“You’ve been known to annoy just about everyone on occasion, but I can’t imagine ever growin’ tired of you, elf. You’re one surprise after another and ya know? I like that. I like that a lot.”
Kurt sighed and smiled and snuggled closer into the arms of his lover.
******************
Blood. The smell of it sickened Logan. It covered his hands and chest, pooling around Kurt’s body. He’d done that. Had cut Kurt’s throat with his claws. He roared his horror at what he had done and Trask’s laugh echoed in the white room washed now with the elf’s blood.
Yet, from far away, he heard Kurt’s voice calling to him. Was this Kurt’s ghost coming to haunt him for what he had done? But he was only trying to save the boy from a worse death, a slow lingering painful death at the hands of merciless men and women who thought Kurt little more than an animal...a demon from hell.
“Logan, wake up!”
Logan shot up from bed, his claws snicking out in defense. He let out a snarl and stared into near darkness.
Beside him, he heard Kurt gasp, felt him push away. He smelled the boy’s sudden fear and cursed inwardly.
That damned dream again.
“Logan? You are awake, aren’t you?”
His claws slid safely back into place and Logan reached up to rub his face. “I’m awake.”
Kurt’s fear receded and Logan felt the boy’s hand slide down his arm, stroking in a soothing fashion.
“You were...yelling. I couldn’t understand what you were saying, but I knew you were having a nightmare. Did I do right waking you?”
Logan took a shaky breath and let it out, slowly calming down. The vision was terrifyingly real. So much blood. He gave the image a mental shove and wrapped an arm around Kurt.
“Yeah, you did right, though be careful when you do.”
“I noticed. I will be very careful in the future.”
Logan lay back, drawing Kurt down with him, holding him close and assuring himself that Kurt was okay.
They lay quietly in soothing silence, but Logan knew Kurt wanted to know what he had dreamed.
“There’s something I need to tell you,” Logan said.
Kurt pushed up and looked down on him, yellow eyes glowing in the darkness. Logan met the boy’s gaze and he swallowed down a pain in his throat.
“I don’t know how to say it. I don’t know how to tell you.”
“You are scaring me, Logan.”
“I don’t want to scare you, but I’ve got to get this off my chest. I just want the dream to stop.”
“And by telling me...something...you think that will make it stop?”
“I don’t know.”
“Then just tell me, whatever it is.”
Logan hesitated, still uncertain how to tell something that didn’t actually happen.
“I was gonna kill you,” Logan finally said.
“What?”
“If I couldn’t cut the collar with my claws, I was gonna cut your throat so Trask couldn’t dissect you alive. I was gonna do that and now I keep dreamin’ I did. Your blood’s everywhere and Trask is laughin’ and I can’t believe what I did. But you’re lyin’ there dead with blood everywhere.”
Kurt closed his eyes rendering him almost invisible in the darkness, then those bright eyes opened again and the sadness Logan saw there nearly broke his heart.
“Oh Logan, how terrible. I...don’t know what to say. I...don’t know how I should feel.”
“I don’t know how you should feel either, lyin’ in bed with a man who not only raped you, but then contemplated murderin’ you afterwards.”
Kurt flinched from Logan’s harsh description. “Stop it. Don’t say those things. You could not help what that drug made you do. And as for murder, that’s what Trask was going to do to me. What you intended was not the same. If it had come to that you would have killed me out of mercy.”
Logan brushed a hand down Kurt’s back. “You cut me more slack than I deserve, elf.”
Kurt slid down again to rest his head on Logan’s chest, hand stroking his skin, trailing down his arm in a slow meander.
“So, you don’t hate me, huh?” Logan asked.
Kurt shook his head. “No. I could never hate you. I hope you telling me makes the dreams stop.”
“Yeah, well, we’ll see.”
