Stranger than Fiction

Magneto waved his hand and the ball of metal feel apart. Matthew's lifeless body hit the ground in a sick twisted bloody heap. His body was bleeding all over the place. His lips looked blue and his face had little black dots all over it (1). Matthew wasn't breathing or even moving. Rogue started to scream hysterically crying her eyes out.

"YOU KILLED HIM!!! OH MY GOD YOU KILLED HIM! YOU KILLED THE ONLY PERSON WHO EVER LOVED ME!" that was all Magneto could make out from her hysterics

"Yes, I suppose I did..oh well you will be joining him soon anyway." Magneto said without showing any emotion over what he had just done

Logan's unconscious Body came falling through the door followed my Storm's. Sabertooth walked in behind them. He looked at Matthew's Body and growled

"You said you'd let me kill him." Sabertooth said walking over to the body

"I lied...Now put these three in the cell. And don't forget to put the special restraints on Logan's hands. I would Hate for him to break free before I had the chance to test that healing Ability of his to its full potential."

"What do you want me to do with the body?" Sabertooth asked looking to Magneto

"Take it to the medical laboratory. I want to take a closer look at it later."

Magneto said floating over to Matthew's body and looking at it for a few moments. He nodded at Sabertooth. Sabertooth Picked up Matthew's Body and threw it over his shoulder. He walked over to Logan and Storm grabbing them by the hair and dragged them behind him as he walked out of the room. Rogue was still screaming and crying. She was talking but Magneto could not understand what she was saying. He lifted his hand the switch flipped shocking her till she passed out. A few Minutes Later Sabertooth came back and picked up Wanda and took her out of the room as well.

*Well this day just keeps getting better. I have four of Xavier's team and I just killed one of them right in front of their lover. How could things get better?..Oh yes the device. I hope it works. I stole Billions to build it.*

Pyro came stumbling into the room where Magneto was and his Locked on Rogue's naked body. He always thought she was cute and now he was getting a free show. He didn't like the fact Magneto was going to kill her but he was smart enough to keep his mouth shut about it.

"What do you want?" Magneto said looking at Pyro who was bleeding all over the place

"Where are the bandages?" Pyro asked

"In the med lab. Now get out of here you are bleeding all over my floor. When you are finished return here and clean up this mess." Magneto said waving his Hand over the large black puddle of blood and twisted metal

Pyro Nodded and Left the room. When he got into the med lab he had to fight the sudden urge to blow "super chunks" as he called it all over the place. Matthew's Body was laid out on a table. It was nude and it's eyes where still open. Pyro noticed they did not have that weird darkness around them anymore. The Body was still covered in blood and had a large gash across the stomach. He could see Matthew's insides through it and almost puked again. His arms and Leg's had a funny shape and he could tell the bones where broken inside them.

"Holy shit they killed him...Damn he looks fucked up. Oh shit I am going to fucking blow super chunks everywhere...yuck I never seen a dead body before. Oh man when those three that came with him wake up we are so going to be fucking dead. Shit I am getting the hell out of here this is creeping the hell out of me*

Pyro grabbed the bandages and ran out of the Lab and headed for the bathroom.

"Oh you finally waken up ?" A voice with a Cajun accent said

"Where the hell are we?..What the hell are you doing here Bub? Where is Matthew?"

Logan asked as he raised his head and looked around the room. Remy was standing in a corner whole Storm and Wanda where laying on the floor still passed out. Logan noticed he had two large shell like devices over his hands. He tried to pop his claws but the wouldn't budge

"It won't work. Those things got some kind of Magnetic field keeps your claws from coming out. I was the one that stole the design for them. " Remy said walking over to Logan

"Why the hell don't you bust out of here? And like I asked where the fuck is Matthew?" Logan said forcing himself to his feet

"I can't bust out of here because this place was designed so that my powers don't work in here. As for your friend He's dead. I saw Sabertooth caring his Body to the Med lab when he dropped you off here." Remy said knowing enough about Logan to back away when he told him of the boy's fate

"You lying Cajun FUCK!..No way in hell that boy is dead!" Logan said charging at Remy and hitting him in the face with his covered hands

"He is dead I ain't lying! Stop hitting me dammit! If you don't believe me look at the door it has his blood all over it!" Remy said while doing his best to dodge Logan's blows

Logan stopped and looked at the door. There was a hand print that he could tell Was Sabertooth's made out of black blood. Logan walked over and sniffed it and knew it was Matthew's. The door was covered in blood in fact and there was a small puddle seeping in through the bottom of the door. Logan Let out a growl and started beating the door. If he was anyone else he would be crying right now but he had been all cried out decades ago. So he did the next best thing. He started trashing the room they where in. Cursing and growling at the top of his lung. He woke Storm and Wanda who looked shocked at Logan's outburst. Storm knew if he could he would have his claws out slicing up everything he saw. She had seen him like this before. When the animal inside him won over the man and he went into an unstoppable rage.

"LOGAN CALM DOWN WHAT IS WRONG?!" Storm yelled

"THEY KILLED HIM THEY KILLED THE KID!!!!" Logan managed to say before he went back to hitting everything in sit including Remy

Remy tried to stop Logan but Logan was to fast for him. In moments Logan had beat the Cajun into unconsciousness. Logan seemed to calm down somewhat after this and feel to his knees still growling. Storm could tell he was trying to regain control. Wanda looked afraid.

"What do you mean They killed him? Killed who Logan?" Storm asked when she was sure Logan had calmed down enough to answer her

"....They Killed Matthew." Logan said then let out a long sigh

Storm didn't want to believe Logan but she knew he would never lie about something like that. She looked around the room and saw the blood smeared on the door and the doorway. Wanda didn't really like Matthew but he had saved her life and she found herself feeling sad hearing Logan say he was dead. Storm stood and walked over to Logan and put her hand on his shoulder

"Then the only thing we can do now is what he died trying to do. We need to get out of here and Save Rogue before it is too late. You know that is what he would want." Storm said sounding calm She wanted to lose control Like Logan but she knew if she did her powers would cause all kinds of Havoc in the world

Logan nodded and got back to his feet. He kicked Remy who jerked and them jumped up.

"Was this place made so only your powers won't work or are we all fucked?" Logan said looking at the Cajun

"I don't know dammit. I didn't even know about this room till Magneto threw me in here for trying to help you. He said he was going to keep me here till he was through with you guys then he would kill me. I tried breaking out at least four times already but I can't charge anything in here. "

"Let me try something everyone get behind me." Storm said walking to the door

Everyone did as she asked. Her Eye's turned white and they could feel the pressure in the room change. She held out her hands and a small dark cloud formed between them. A tiny bolt of lighting hit the control panel of the door but nothing happened. Storm made a noise of disappointment and spread her hands further apart. The cloud grew bigger and a larger bolt of lighting hit the panel next to the door. Nothing happened again.

"SHIT!"

Storm said shocking Logan. he had never heard her curse like that. He kind of liked it

"Looks like we are staying here for a while " Remy said looking at everyone


"Who are you? Where am I..Am I dead?"

"You are at the gates of the after life. I am you...and yes you are dead." The Voice said coming from everywhere

"I CAN'T BE DEAD I HAVE TO SAVE MARIE!"

Matthew's yelled. He didn't have the body in the sense of a physical form but he still had one. He was surrounded by a blinding light and it felt like he was flouting upwards

"No, I was supposed to save Marie."

The voice said this time taking form infront of Matthew.

"What do you mean you where supposed to? You been Dead for three years ." Matthew said sounding confused

"Exactly. I been dead for three years. I was not the one who was supposed to die that day in the wreck...you were" Said the voice

"WHAT?!" Matthew said

"Yes, you where supposed to die in the wreck. I was supposed to Live.... and I was the one who was supposed to Have a relationship with Marie. However that is not what happened. You lived I died and Marie grew to become the depressed person you found that day. I was supposed to be the one to save her. If it was me I would have been strong enough by now to stop Eric. "

The voice said. It was in front of what Matthew guessed was now his eyes. It's form was that of a large gray and white ball of light.

"Well, sorry I messed up your Plans but this is all my problem now so mind telling me why I am here and not back in my world living a life I am not supposed to have?" Matthew asked the voice

"Yes, it is your problem and you screwed it all up. Not only did you Force Eric's hand far to early you died. Which is a very big problem. Now no one will be able to stop Him from going through with his plans and Adding Marie to the list of the names that will die in his war with humanity."

"Mind letting me know why you are telling me all this if I am supposed to be on my way to eternal happiness......wait am I going to hell? I wasn't THAT bad of a person was I?" Matthew said sounding very frightened

"No, you are not going to hell. As for why I am telling you this is because you need to know why we allowed you to survive the journey to the World of The X-Men."

"What do you mean allowed me to survive? That was just some big cosmic mistake." Matthew said

"There are no cosmic mistakes.............well except for what happened with the wreck. It may have been long to you but you where rushed to the World of the X-men in our eyes. We also sped up the feelings between you and Marie. I would have thought even you knew falling in love with a fantasy character at your age was a little strange. You just thought it was a crush but yes you loved her. You just didn't realize it till you were finally able to meet her. As for her feelings for you. Yes, she does love you. We only sped up the process somewhat. If she did not love you, you would not have been able to protect her the way you where suppose to....You know how hard headed she is." The Voice said

"You mean our love isn't real?" Matthew asked sounding very depressed

"No, it is VERY real. In fact it is so real that at this very Moment She is going mad with grief from loosing you. You did die right infront of her after all. Which I might add was not supposed to happen at all at least for another sixty years. I knew we should have chosen another version of myself. You are to impulsive" The Voice said sounding slightly annoyed

"You are making it sound Like my whole life for the last three years has been some big plot to bring me to this world and fall for Marie."

"Well, give the boy a prize Folks he finally figured it out. Your life has been controlled for the last three years By us. Everything you have been through was designed to make sure that when you reached Marie you would Protect her with your life without a second thought. I would say we did quite well in the aspect. However We made and error in assuming you would be Powerful enough to fight Eric so soon. I knew we should Have given you all your powers the moment you went through the gate's of reality. The Others however felt it was best to let them build slowly. Of course none of that Matters now since you are dead. Enjoy your afterlife of eternal happiness....Marie will be here for you soon."

"WAIT! I DON'T WANT TO BE DEAD! I DON'T WANT HER TO DIE! SHE DESERVES A BETTER LIFE THEN WHAT SHE HAS HAD SO FAR.....AND SO DO I !" Matthew yelled

"Oh really? What makes you think you deserve anything? If have not noticed yet you should have been dead years ago. I am the one that should be sent back not you. I deserve the right to live not you...The only reason you want to go back is because you didn't get to have sex with her" The voice said sounding angry


"You deserve to be sent back? Excuse me But I wasn't the one playing god with someone's life for the last three years just for kicks. You are lucky you we are already dead or I would kill you for saying such a thing about my feeling for her. I am not asking you to send me back because I want to shag her doggy till I crack her hip I am asking you to send me back so I can give her a chance at the life she deserves......the one she was supposed to have with you. Just because I am a teenage boy does not mean I am run by my hormones. I love her. I want her to be happy and she can only be happy with me and you know that. I am the only one that can show her the kind of love she wants. I didn't just want to have sex with her I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. Now you are telling me I can't and she is going to die having never had a real life like the rest of us. Are you sure this isn't hell because as far as I am concerned it might as well be, Now I demand you send me back or I am going to find a way back myself. You know I mean it. after all you are me." Matthew said sounding even more angry than the voice

"You are a strange one indeed." The voice said


Rogue woke again and found herself in a strange room. It was larger than the one she was in before and there was a large Machine infront of her. It was silver in color. There was a chamber in the front that had a table like the one she was strapped to. Only this one had some kind of strange hood on it that had wires going into the walls of the chamber. She could tell she had been drugged because she couldn't even move her fingers an inch no matter how hard she tried. She suddenly remember what had happened before she passed out and started to cry again

"Ah you are awake good. Now we can begin. This is going to hurt you more than you can imagine. But know that your sacrifice is going to insure the survival of our race." Magneto said as he floated infront of her

"Just get it over with you fucking bastard I have nothing to live for anyway." Rogue said through her tears

Magento raised a brow when Rogue said this

"Oh really? Did me killing your little boyfriend take away your will to fight?....To bad I was looking forward to more begging. Oh well lets begin then shale we?.Pyro come over here I am going to need your protection in case something goes wrong."

Magneto waited till Pyro was next to him. He took of his glove and let out a deep sigh. He placed his hand on Rogue's face and felt his life being drained from him. Rogue started to scream at the rush of Memories. She felt how Magneto enjoyed killing Matthew. She saw what the device was going to do. Why he had built it and what he would do to her if she survived being used to power it. She started to scream even more

"I WON'T LET YOU DO THIS! YOU CAN'T DO THIS! ALL THOSE LIVES LOST HOW COULD YOU DO SUCH A THING?!!! YOU ARE MAD ERIC WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!" She was screaming in Magneto's own voice. Pyro took this as a sign it was time for him to act. He pulled Magneto away from Rogue. he whispered in her ear

"Please forgive us we didn't want this but he said he would have Sabertooth kill us if we didn't help him."

He drew away from her when Magneto opened his eyes and forced himself to his feet. he placed his Hand On Pyro's arm

"You will have to stay here ... I am to weak to defend myself at the moment."

"Yes, Magneto....Do I have to watch though?" Pyro asked looking at his leader

".....no...Just Watch the door and don't let anyone through unless it is Sabertooth." Magento said still sounding very weak

Rogue was babbling something Pyro could not understand. Her voice was a mix of her own and Magneto's. He released her from the table. he pulled her up to her feet while Magneto took one of her arms and he took the other. They dragged her into the chamber and locked her on the table. Magneto Stumbled when they where finished hooking her into the machine. Pyro helped him stay up and walked him out of the chamber

"Flip the switch." Magneto said sitting down on the ground out of breath

Pyro let out a deep sigh

"Yes Magneto"

Sabertooth was stalking around the base. He Remembered he had a dead deer but forgot where he put it. His Stomach was growling even louder than he was as he stomped around trying to remember where he put it.

"Oh yeah I put the thing in the Med lab's walk in freezer."

He walked to the med Lab and looked at the body on the table. He cracked a big grin and walked over to it.

"Well, you fucking bastard looks like you got what you deserved. You are lucky Magneto killed you before I got my hands on your sorry ass........I think I might skin you and make myself a new coat."

Sabertooth spit on Matthew's face then walked over to the walk in freezer. He thought he heard something and turned around to look to see if any one was there.

"MASTERMIND STOP FUCKING AROUND OR I AM GOING TO HAVE YOUR STOMACH FOR BREAKFAST!" Sabertooth yelled

He went back to what he was doing and went into the freezer. He heard another noise and ran out. Still nothing. He shrugged it off and went back and picked up the dead deer and started to head out of the room. A Large clawed hand Grabbed him by the neck and lifted him off the ground. It was cold and felt like it was made out of steel

"WHERE IS MARIE?!" A demonic sounding voice asked


1. In case you don't know when someone is strangled or chokes to death the blood vessels in their face and eyes bursts making little red dots and other nasty looking things. Now since Matthew has black blood and muscles his dots are black

Oh my a bunch of weird shit is going on ain't it? For those of you(ok the one of you) that wants to know when this story is over I am going to write more in this universe i have created
