Stranger than Fiction

Rogue woke to find herself in a large room. She was strapped to a metal table and was completely nude. Her arms and legs where held down by steel bars. She looked around the room looking for any sign of life. Magneto was sitting at a large computer. He raised is head and turned to her lifting off the ground and floating over to her

"What are you going to do to me?" She asked not even trying to hide the fear in her voice

"I am going to kill you ...I would have thought you knew that by now." Magneto answered with a smile on his face

Rogue started crying

"Why?! What did I do to you?!" She said through her tears

"My dear child I am doing this for many reasons. I was going to let your death be swift .....almost painless but unfortunately your boyfriend has angered me. So now I will draw out your death as slowly and painfully as I can....However this is not the only reason I am doing this. I have recently came across the blueprints for a very interesting device..But it requires vast amounts of magnetic energy to be powered and the strain it would put on me could be fatal........That is where you come in .. I am going to transfer my power to you and use you to power the device. If you are lucky you will die if not then well I am sure you know the rest." he said with the same sick smile on his face

"If you kill me ...Matthew will not stop hunting you. He will hunt you down and kill you ."She said looking at him trying her best to look brave

"Oh yes HIM. In case you have forgotten Rogue I made very short work of him. He is no match for me and never will be. If he is still alive."

"You know nothing about him... Every day he gets stronger...Every battle his power grows... What you did to him only made him stronger. You just gave him all the reason he needed to kill you like the sorry fuck you are!"

*He doesn't know about Matthew's Powers......If I can convince him Matthew is more powerful than he really is maybe he won't kill me out of fear.....damn that will never work..OH MY GOD I'M GONNA DIE!!! I DON'T WANT TO DIE NOW! NOT WHEN I AM FINALLY HAPPY ! OH MY GOD MATTHEW IS GOING TO KILL MAGNETO WHEN HE GETS HIS HANDS ON HIM!.GOOD I HOPE HE MAKES HIM SUFFER!......oh no Matthew..he will go mad if I die now.. I am so sorry I have to break my Promise Matthew.....God don't let him find my body. *

"I suggest you keep idle threats to yourself Rogue. You are in no position to threaten me now. Now be silent and allow me to return to my work.....I will start the experiment tomorrow. Until then stay silent and you will not be harmed ." He said Floating back over to the computer

"FUCK YOU!" She yelled at him *oh that was smart Marie now he is probably going to dip your feet in acid or something*

Magneto stopped and turned to her. He had the same smile on his face as before. He raised his hand and a switch flipped on a panel next to her. She heard a low hum and felt it moments later. A sudden painful burst of electricity flowing through her body. She tried to scream but she could not move. Moments later everything went black. The last thing she saw was Magneto over her smiling


"MARIE NO!!!"

Matthew screamed sitting up. He was covered in bandages and his body was hurting all over. Hank ran in the room. He tried to push Matthew back down on the bed and realized Matthew's skin felt even harder than it did when he was brought in earlier. he also noticed Matthew was not budding an inch even though he was putting all his strength to push him back down on the bed

"Matthew please lay down Logan's blood has not finished working through your system yet... you need to calm dow... GAHH!!!"

Matthew was up on his feet and was holding Hank off the ground by his neck. He was growling like a lion his eyes sucking up all the light around them. His fangs shinning in the light of the room. His face was contorted with Anger

"I AM NOT GOING TO LAY HERE LIKE SOME WEAK PUSSY WHILE MAGENTO IS OUT THERE WITH MARIE! I AM GOING TO WALK OUT OF HERE RIGHT NOW FIND MAGNETO AND KILL HIM! DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME HANK? NOW GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY WAY!"

Matthew said throwing Hank into the wall next to them. He ripped off all his bandages and saw that now his body was covered in scars. He growled even louder picking up his duster that was next to his bed and stormed out of the room heading for his Uniform. He ripped the chamber out of the wall and put on his Uniform and his duster over it. He Ran to the elevator bumping into Logan on the way there

"Where the hell do you think you are going Kid?" Logan said looking at him confused

"I AM GOING TO FIND MARIE NOW GET OUT OF MY WAY BEFORE I MOVE YOU MYSELF !"

Matthew growled while grabbing Logan by his shirt. Logan snarled but did not try and fight. He had given Matthew as much blood as he could and was very weak. But was doing his best to hide it

"I ain't moving out of your way Bub...If your going to find Magneto I am going to. Now put me the fuck down! Meet me next to the blackbird in five minutes." Logan said as Matthew let go of him

"We don't have time to go searching...I am going to the park. I know Destiny is there waiting for me...Just go get suited up and meet me there I am going now ."

Matthew said sounding more calm as he walked into the elevator. Logan nodded and headed for the locker room. Hank came stumbling out of the infirmary

"LOGAN STOP HIM!" Hank said

"With all due respect Hank go fuck yourself. As pissed as he is a seven nation army couldn't stop that boy right now....You look like shit did you try and stop him?" Logan said while still heading for the locker room Hank was walking behind him

"Yes, I did and he strangled me before throwing me into a wall.........Now that I think about it may be best not to stop him. Just keep your eyes on him we don't know if he is fully recovered yet even with your blood in his system." Hank said stumbling back into the Infirmary after Logan nodded

"Godamn did he do all this? Well, I can't blame him it does take a while to open these fucking lockers." Logan said as he walked over the rubble left from Matthew's rush to get into uniform

Matthew had reached what was once the front door before he was stopped By Wanda. She Walked right infront of him. Pushing back the sudden urge to scream when she saw the look on his face. he Looked just like the demon that had nearly killed her the night of the concert. He finally Managed to speak

"If you are going to stop my father I demand to go with you Matthew. I will not take no for an answer." She said doing her best to hide how scared she was of him at the moment

"Fine....but I am going to kill him myself. Now shut up and get in the fucking car. We are going back to the Park to meet someone who knows where to find Magneto."

Matthew said walking to the car. Wanda let out a curse and got in the car with him. The ride to the Park was quite. When they arrived it was crawling with cops. Matthew parked far enough away not to be seen by them and got out of the car followed by Wanda. She looked around at all the people around then at Matthew. Who in his rush had not brung his Holo with him

"How to you think we are supposed to get in there with all those cops and with the way you look right now." She said calmly

"The same way I got out...Now shut up and come here "

Wanda Walked over to him and yelled when he picked her up and threw her over his shoulder.

"PUT ME DOWN YOU FUCKING BASTARD!" She yelled

"SHUT UP WANDA BEFORE I LEAVE YOU HERE!" he yelled back at her

"FINE !......what are you going to do?" She asked calming herself

"THIS!"

Matthew said running at full speed then leaped into the air. Wanda was in total amazement. He had jumped a good hundred feet in the air and was now flying over the cops and landed half way into the park. In the distance there was a woman sitting on the bench alone

"I didn't know you could fly....." She said

"Can't..just jumped."

He said before he leaped into the air again landing right infront of the woman. He let Wanda down and grabbed the woman by the arm and forced her to her feet

"NO MORE FUCKING GAMES! YOU ARE GOING TO TELL ME WHERE I CAN FIND MAGNETO RIGHT NOW!" He said in a very loud and harsh tone

The woman's face showed a hint of fear for a moment before going back to its calm demeanor.

".. A small island two hundred miles off the coast of New York. There is a rock formation on its beaches in the shape of a hook. Now hurry. You are running out of time ." She said in a calm voice

There was a loud roaring sound like the sound of an engine. Matthew looked up to see the blackbird landing a good hundred feet away.
Logan walked out with the Professor rolling out behind him Followed by Storm. Matthew and Wanda walked over to the jet and Logan gave Wanda a strange look. Then he just nodded

"Why are you here ?"Matthew asked

"Someone has to keep people from seeing the blackbird." Storm said looking very strained

"You aren't going to try and stop me? " Matthew asked Looking at the Professor

"I know nothing I say or do would stop any of you. However if you do this you will not have any support. You will be on your own for better or worse." The Professor said in a stern tone

"Fine by me. I was planning to do this myself anyway." Matthew said walking into the Blackbird without so much as glancing at the people around him

"Charles do you wish for us to take you back to the mansion?" Storm asked looking at the Professor.

"No, you do not have time. I will call Hank and have him pick me up ." The Professor said as he moved his chair in the direction of Destiny

Everyone walked into the blackbird. Matthew was sitting in one of the chairs looking like he was in a trance. A small tear was rolling down his face. When he heard them come in he wiped it away and turned to them. Logan walked tot he front and sat in the pilot seat. Storm satin the one next to him and Wanda sat in the seat in the far end of the jet by herself.

"Did she tell you where to find him" Logan asked as the jet took off

"Island two hundred miles off the coast of New York with a hook shaped rock formation on the beach.....Do you know where that is?"Matthew asked

"I don't but the computer should be able to find it...uh Storm could you put in the information." Logan said looking at storm who was sitting next to the computer in the jet

"Yes, of course."

Storm said as she typed in the information. A few moments later she gave Logan Some directions. Storm looked back at the two teenagers. Her eyes where white with power as she was hiding the Blackbird in a dense cloud of Fog.

"Be prepared Children. We do not know why kind of defenses Magneto has .....Matthew do you have a plan of attack?" She asked looking at the young Man who's face was a mix of Anger and saddness

"Yes, I have plan. You all stay the fuck out of my way while I rip Magneto apart with my bar hands..Sound Good to you Logan?"

Matthew said with a very serious tone in his voice and an even more serious look on his face. Logan cracked a sick grin

"Sounds Like a good plan to me Kid... We'll hold off any thugs he has. You find Rogue and get her out of there. If you see Magneto ...well just do whatever the hell you want to him ." Logan said

"LOGAN!" Storm said harshly

"Ororo.... You just don't understand what he is going through. If we try and stop him he might hurt us. Best thing we can do is let him do what he needs to and try not to get in his way." Logan whispered to her

"Logan how can you say that?" Storm whispered back

"You never had something like this happen to you so you can't understand. I have though so I know all to well what he is feeling. If he is anything like me his mind is one hundred percent set on taking out Magneto and doing the same to anyone who tries to stop him...He already attacked Hank for trying to stop him and I ain't getting on his bad side right now trying to change his mind. So just leave him the hell alone if you know what's good for you." Logan said giving her a harsh glance

Storm Looked back at the boy sitting behind them. She had heard the students talk about How he acted when Rogue was in danger and now she was seeing it first hand. His whole character was changing right infront of her. He was not the happy cheerful boy he was when he was with Rogue. Now he was an angry monster ready to lash out and attack the first person that set him off. She was still surprised he managed to survive his battle with Magneto. His heart had stopped once while he was in the infirmary. Hank had nearly not been able to restart it. He told her not to tell anyone it had happened. After his heart returned to its normal rhythm Logan gave him a blood transfusion. He had to give so much Blood in fact he all most passed out twice. Now the boy who had nearly died that day was sitting right behind her not even looking weak. All his wounds had healed and turned to black scars. . She knew it was in no small part to Logan's Blood. She realized he was looking at her stare at him and turned away. Matthew went back to his own thoughts

*Please be safe Marie...If I am to late I will kill myself.....can I even kill myself?..If she is dead God don't let me be the one to find the body....Don't let me be to late to save her God please. I know what I am going to do is wrong but I have to save her and the only way I can do that is to stop Magneto once and for all...I ask that you forgive me for the sins I am about to commit for Love and vengeance..IF she is already with you make a place for me beside her...Because I will be there soon. *

"OK everyone get ready we are getting close!" Logan yelled

As soon as he did this two missiles launched from the island right for the jet. Wanda held up her hands and the missiles turned and crashed into each other. Four More missiles came rushing towards them. Storm struck two with lighting. Wanda Took out the other two.

"LOGAN HURRY UP AND LAND WE CAN'T KEEP THIS UP FOREVER!" Wanda yelled as she hexed three more Missiles causing them to explode

"I AM DOING THE BEST I CAN! JUST HOLD EM OFF FOR ANOTHER MINUTE!" Logan said as he sent the jet into a spin to dodge a missile the two women had missed

Wanda was thrown to the back. Matthew jumped out of his chair and caught her before she hit the back.

"Thank you...."

She said Pushing herself back up as Logan righted the jet. She walked to the front and held up her hands again. There was a large flurry of Missiles this time heading for the blackbird. Way to many for the woman to stop on their own

"EVERYONE GET READY I AM PUTTING EVERYTHING I GOT INTO THIS ONE! BRACE YOURSELF !"

She yelled and there was a sudden silence. Then it felt like all the air in the Jet was being sucked right to her hands. Storm stood and there was a loud crack of thunder. Dozens of Lighting bolts where flashing around them taking out missiles left and right. Wanda yelled again and the ones there where not hit turned slammed into each other. There was a large explosion. The shockwave hit the blackbird full force shattering the Glass in the cockpit and taking a chunk of the roof with it. Wanda went flying through the Opening. Logan screamed a curse as Glass slashed his face Storm gasped and grabbed onto her chair. Out of the corner of her eye She saw a gray flash. When They where able to see again they saw they where the only ones left in the blackbird.

"WHERE THE FUCK ARE THE KIDS?!!" Logan yelled

"WE ARE FINE JUST LAND THE FUCKING JET BEFORE I SLIP!" They Heard a voice Come from above them

Matthew was holding on for dear life on top of the Jet with one arm while Holding Wanda in the other. When he saw her thrown Out he reacted without even thinking. He ran at full speed and jumped through the hole in the cockpit and managed to grab her jacket. He thought he was going to die right there but she was able to us her power to throw them back enough for him to slam his hand through the top of the jet.

"YOU ARE JUST FULL OF SURPRISES KID!" Logan yelled over the roar of air in the jet from the whole caused from the explosion

A few minutes Later they landed on the beach of the island. Matthew Pulled his hand out of the Jet and Stood. Wanda was still shaking from fear and was holding on to him for dear life. He would have been flattered if he was not still frightened himself. He walked over to the edge and Jumped down. Wanda just starred over the edge

"Wanda just jump down and I will catch you OK?" Matthew said holding up his arms

She nodded and jumped down. He caught her like he said he would. He noticed she blushed and he let her down.

"Why did you risk your life to save me?" She asked when he let her down

"It's what I do.. I save Goth chicks in danger. Just don't go thinking this means I like you ." He said turning around and walking off

"Thank you." She said walking by him

"Kid that was either the bravest or dumbest damn thing I ever seen someone do in my life." Logan said as Matthew Walked by him

"I think it was a little of Both ." Matthew said

"Can you sense anything Logan?" Storm asked walking over to him

"...Gasoline..." Logan said looking confused

"SHIT EVERYONE SCATTER!" Matthew Yelled

As soon as he said this a large Fireball came flying out of the trees. Everyone ran in different directions. It turned and went right for Logan who ran and jumped in the water. Which Matthew though looked very funny seeing the look on Logan's face when he did so. Just Like Matthew Thought Pyro came walking out of the trees. He shot a Fireball at Him and Matthew Jumped out of the way. It hit the sand melting it into glass. Pyro cursed and shot a fireball at Wanda.

"Dumbass." Matthew said under his voice

"BURN WITCH BURN!" Pyro yelled with a laugh

Wanda stopped running and Turn to the fireball. Her face was red with anger. She held up her hands and the fireball swung around and went right back to Pyro. Who yelped and dove out of the way. Matthew took this opening and ran over to him. he was almost to him when he jumped up and shot a fireball out in the shape of a hand. It made a fist and Hit Matthew hard sending him flying back in a burst of flame and smoke. Pyro let out a laugh

"ONE DOWN THREE TO GO BABY!" He said laughing

"I DON'T THINK SO !" Matthew said getting up

"WHAT THE FUCK?! YOU SHOULD BE NOTHING BUT ASH!" Pyro said looking at the large Mutant

Matthew was covered in black ash. His uniform had a large hole burned into the chest and another on his right thigh. His duster was hot as hell and had smoke coming off it. He felt hot but was not really hurt just stunned from the blow. He dusted himself off and started walking towards Pyro. he saw That Storm was Up in the air and was slowly moving over Pyro. Logan was just pulling himself from the Water and Wanda was still Looking Pissed.

"It's gonna take more than a little heat to stop me Pyro." Matthew said as he walked closer to the mutant

"YOU ASKED FOR IT NOW!" Pyro yelled

Matthew could smell the gasoline in the air and new Pyro was about to do something. Pyro Laughed and a gigantic burst of Flame shot from his hands. Before Matthew had time to react it was enveloping him. He hit the ground and covered his body with His Duster.

*Whatever the hell Forge put it then this thing better be fireproof or I am one crispy crittier*

Matthew thought as he could feel the leather getting hotter and hotter.

"NOW WOULD BE A GOOD TIME FOR SOME HELP GUYS!!!" Matthew yelled

He heard a yell and felt the heat subside. Then he heard another roar of Flame and another yell that sound a lot like Logan followed by the sound of ripping steel. When he uncovered his face and got up Logan was holding Pyro by the shirt collar. His pack was sliced open and the gas was now all over the place. Logan had a large burn on the side of his upper body and face that was healing right before everyone's eyes. Pyro looked scarred shitless. Matthew walked over and grabbed Pyro away from Logan. He lifted him off the ground by his shirt and growled at him before he spoke

"I AM GOING TO ASK YOU ONE TIME AND ONE TIME ONLY! WHERE THE FUCK IS MAGNETO AND WHAT HAS HE DONE TO MARIE?!" Matthew said

"I AIN'T SAYING SHIT TO YOU ASSHOLES! YOU CAN'T HURT ME ANYWAY IT'S AGAINST YOUR STUPID RULES!" Pyro said while trying to break free from Matthew's grasp

Matthew Growled again and dragged his free hand down Pyro's chest. Ripping open the flesh in deep gashes and spraying blood all over his face. Pyro was screaming in pain. Logan cracked a sick smile and whispered in Pyro's ear

"You better tell us what we want to know. Or next time we let him kill you ." Logan said in the screaming boy's ear

"OK I'LL TELL YOU JUST DON'T HURT ME PLEASE!!!!" Pyro screamed

"SPILL OR I SPILL YOU!"

Matthew said throwing Pyro down to the ground. Logan Jammed his Boot into the kids chest. Digging his heal into the wounds there. Pyro let out another scream of pain

"He...he is under the island. There is a secret entrance at that weird looking rock. Just turn the funny colored rock and it will open Now please let me go! Don't kill me!" He said still trying to get up

"Logan..." Matthew said looking at the man

"Yeah kid what is it?" He said looking up to Matthew

"I want you to tie him up and watch him......If we ain't back before nightfall I want you to kill him." Matthew said looking very serious

"Got it. But you sure you want me to stay here?" Logan said as he picked up the boy and started to tie him up with the tubes from his flame-thrower

"Yes, If you come with us Magneto might be able to take control of you because of your skeleton...I don't need to tell what will happen then"

Matthew said as he started to walk for the rock formation. Logan just nodded. Wanda Started to walk after Matthew followed By Storm.

"Storm Stay here....I know you want to try and stop me and if you do I will do something I will regret." Matthew said without even turning to look at her

"Matthew you need to think of what you are about to do." Storm said walking next to Matthew

"Storm I have thought of what I am about to do......I have had longer to think about it than you may think. I know that I am about to take a life and I done made my peace with God and myself over it. Now get out of my way before I move you myself."

Matthew said Looking into Storm's Eyes. She nodded and moved aside. She wanted to stop him. But she saw in his eyes nothing she could do or say would stop him or change his mind. She Only hopped he was able to stop himself when the time came.

Matthew and Wanda had reached the Hook rock. He had search everywhere for the rock Pyro had talked about. Of course he could not find it and was now walking around cussing his head off. Which Wanda was doing as well

"FUCK IT GET BACK!" Matthew said backing away from the rock a good fifty feet

"What are you going to do?" Wanda asked walking back herself

"THIS!"

Matthew yelled as he charged the Rock with his shoulder. A loud crash was heard and part of the rock came crashing down. Matthew back up and did it again. This time he ran even faster and jumped into the rock with his shoulder. Another Loud crash was heard and Matthew went flying through the rock down a stairway.

"I'M OK !" Matthew's voice came from the stairway

"CAN YOU SEE ANYTHING? IT IS PITCH BLACK DOWN THERE!" Wanda yelled while sticking her head through the opening

"IT IS?! DIDN'T NOTICE...GOT NIGHT VISION!.HOLD ON I WILL BE BACK UP AND HELP YOU DOWN!" Matthew's voice said sounding closer and closer

He walked out of the darkness and held his hand out for Wanda

"You can either walk with me or I can carry you over my shoulder again.." he said when he held out his hand

"I think I will walk thank you very much. Just don't let me fall."

She said as she started to walk into the darkness Holding Matthew's hand.


Rogue was Woken By the sound of an alarm. She looked around and saw red light's flashing and Magneto was cursing. He stood and walked over to her and slapped her across the face as hard as he could. He then Grabbed Her face and turned it towards his

"You are going to tell me everything about this Mutant boyfriend of yours right now! TELL ME OR I AM GOING TO KILL YOU RIGHT NOW!" Magneto screamed

"I don't know he just showed up infront of the mansion the night before you sent Remy after me....Please don't hurt me I don't know anything I swear!" Rogue screamed

Magneto slapped her even harder busting Rogue's lip.

"LYING WHORE! TELL ME WHAT YOU KNOW NOW! NO ONE CAN RECOVER FROM A BEATING LIKE THAT SO FAST NOT EVEN LOGAN!"

Magneto said rasing his hand to strike her again. There was a loud banging behind them and he turned to the sound. The Metal door to the room was being beat all the hell. A fist came crashing through it. Moments after that it came crashing down.

"GET YOUR HANDS OFF HER !"

"MATTHEW!!!" Rogue screamed

"Hello father." Wanda said walking out from behind Matthew

"WHO ARE YOU?!" Magneto Yelled turning towards Matthew and Wanda

"I am one pissed off Mutant....Now get the fuck away from her or I am going to rip you apart with my bare hands." Matthew said Walking Towards Magneto

"Take one step Closer and I flip this switch. If I do that she will be dead before you even reach her." Magneto said in a calm voice

"What's the matter afraid of a kid?...You know full well before you even flip that switch I will have my claws wrapped around your heart." Matthew said stopping in his tracks

Magneto Only Smiled

"LOOK OUT!" Rogue yelled

It was to late though. The Door Matthew had broke down went flying at them. Striking Wanda and sending her flying through the air and crashing into a wall with a sickening thud. Matthew dove out of the way. Everything Metallic that was not held down went flying for him. He ducked as much as he could but was Hit hard in the head with a steel desk sending him flying back into the wall. He crashed into it causing the steel panel he hit to bend around him. He felt it wrap around him and start to crush the air out of him. He was struggling as hard as he could to break free but it was getting tighter and tighter. He saw everything metallic heading for him and braced himself. It all covered him in a large ball of crushing steel iron and titanium. His whole body was screaming in pain. He could hear is bones breaking and cracking from the pressure. He couldn't breath or even move. He felt his lungs burning for air and started to feel like something was pulling his mind down into his stomach. He could hear Rogue Screaming for him to break free. He could hear her crying. He knew he couldn't move..he knew deep down he was dying right infront of her and there was nothing he could do to stop it. His thoughts feel on her and his family..His life flashing before his eyes. Then he saw a light. He was trying to stay in his body he could tell but he felt something pull him out with the force of a tornado.

"I was wondering when you would show up Matthew." A voice said booming all around him
