Chapter 21

For Blueviper and Ajax, I promised I delivered

Jean held up her hands when he lifted his glasses and then grabbed his head in pain.
Images of sweat covered brown skin and pleasure filled moans filled his mind. Scott fell to his knees groaning with pain. Jean moved closer to him.
“Scott.”
He could smell the scent of vanilla and sandalwood strongly. He pushed Jean away when she tried to hold him. Scott got up and walked from the room.
Jubilee stood around the corner and saw him walk out holding his head as if in pain.
What did she do to him?
Rogue and Kitty were with her watching Scott walk down the hall.
“I told you she did something to him and I am going to tell him the truth I don’t care what the professor says.”
“But I thought you wanted Logan to have Miss Monroe.”
Jubilee looked at her two friends. “You know how something’s just are no matter how hard you try to mold it into what you want it will always find its way back to where it should be.”
The two looked at her as if she was speaking another language. Jubilee smiled. “Okay they look cute together.”
Kitty and Rogue smiled. “What do you want us to do?”
Jubilee looked at Rogue. “You have to keep her away from him long enough so that I can talk to him.”
Rogue looked shocked. “I can’t do that.”
“Marie come on you are the only one who can slow her down long enough.”
Rogue sighed. “Okay.”
Jubilee smiled at her and then took off down the hall after Scott.
Kitty looked ta Rogue. “I have an idea.”
Rogue smiled.

Scott walked into the small study and sat down on the sofa still holding his head.
Jubilee quietly walked inside. He was in pain and shaking.
“Mr. Summers”
Scott immediately turned and saw Jean but the image quickly became shorter and black hair replaced the red. He smiled. “Jubilee”
She came closer slowly and sat in the chair next to him. “Are you okay?”
Scott grimaced when the pain returned.
Jubilee decided to change her tactics. “This one is really bad isn’t it?”
Scott closed his eyes. “What do you mean?”
“You used to get headaches a lot. I always thought Miss Grey gave them to you.”
Scott groaned at the mention of Jean’s name. Jubilee hid her smile.
“Miss Monroe used to help you get rid of them.”
“Ororo” He calmed and looked at the smiling teen.
“Yeah it was like magic after you saw her.”
Scott smiled at her. “Why don’t you like Jean?”
Jubilee shrugged. “I just don’t.”
Scott began to calm down and the pain faded somewhat. Jubilee watched his demeanor change as he relaxed.
“Ororo is in her room.”
Scott looked at her for a while. “Why are you and the others so careful around me?”
“They think you will break but I know you are stronger than that.”
Scott smiled at her. “She’s in her room.”
“She is waiting.”

Jean cleared the information on the computer. She located Scott with her mind and sensed Jubilee with him.
“That little girl” She angrily walked from the lab.
She barely got out the door before Rogue flew into her from the shove from Kitty who was running through walls. The ungloved hands of Rogue touched Jean’s face and the power transfer began. Jean could only stare at Rogue. Rogue told her that she was sorry and let go when she had sufficiently drained Jean.
“I’m sorry Miss Grey I should not have been running through the walls.” Kitty began to help her to her feet.
Rogue replaced her gloves and looked down at Jean. She stopped Kitty from helping her.
“Why did you blow up Miss Monroe’s Greenhouse?”
Jean shook her head trying to stop Rogue from reading her mind.
Kitty saw objects floating when Rogue gasped reading some information that angered her.

The light knock on her door made Ororo walk from her balcony to answer it.
“Scott are you okay?” She noticed the pain in his body and face.
She opened her door wider.
Vanilla and sandalwood filled his nostrils as he walked inside.
He stared at her through the glasses. “You look tired Ororo.”
He touched her face. She tried to turn away but he would not let her by wrapping his arm around her waist.
“I see you in images sometimes.”
She closed her eyes as he backed her towards her bed. “I smell you as if you are right beside me.”
His lips were by her ear when he spoke again. “Tell me why you are all I think about if Jean is who I am with.”
Ororo whimpered as he breathed in her scent along her neck. “I need to know Ororo were you and I together.”

Jubilee came down the hall seeing Kitty pulling Rogue into the wall to stop her from hurting Jean.
“What the hell are you doing?”
“She poisoned Scott with some drug that is why he can’t remember.”
Jubilee glared at her leaning against the wall. “I knew it I am going to tell the professor.”
Jean smiled. “You do and I will tell Scott about Logan.”
“Then he will hate you.”
“Not the way I will tell it, he will hate Logan. We both know you would not want to cause Scott pain. Who knows what that would do to him?”
“You would do that to him.”
“If I can’t have him she definitely will not.”
