Sorry it took so long for this chapter. One word WORK!!! It's a short chapter but I hope you like it. Please, please, please read and review. Spanks alot Thebigguy.

Alexander and Harmony never knew what was happening until the world turned upside down and the car they were in was being crushed as it slid along the road while on its roof. Cyclops and Pyro had hit the front end of the car, flipping it into the air at 65 miles per hour. Alexander immediately reverted to his metallic form and threw himself onto Harmony as the car began to roll after sliding a hundred feet on its roof.
When the car finally stopped rolling, landing on the now burst wheels, only Alexander was conscious. He looked at Harmony and saw that she was passed out but unharmed. Rage building in him, he kicked the door off of the now trashed vehicle. No sooner than he got out of the car that he was waylaid by a seismic blast from Avalanche.
Alexander flew past the front of the car hitting the ground with a clang. He rolled over, the metal on his body bubbling as the concussive spikes tore threw the tatters of his clothes, and activated the emergency beacon in his pocket. He turned as he got up and saw Sankya moving to attack, a tentacle already flying towards him. Alexander felt the burn as he pushed energy into the spikes on his chest. The first one shot out toward Sankya with a sonic burst of energy. It hit the mutant where the tentacle joined the his body and exploded, throwing Sankya one way and the tentacle with a chunk of his body the other, both smoking from the explosion.
“Shit!” Avalanche screamed as the silent mutant rolled on the ground in agony. Avalanche was staring at his teammate when he heard a warning yell from Cyclops, but as he turned toward the young X-Man he knew it was too late. He saw a flash of silver, then felt a searing pain as his hand slapped the ground in a bloody hunk. “AAAH!!” Avalanche screamed, now effectively taken out of the fight.
“Two down,” Alexander thought as he brought his sword arm back up to an attack position when he was hit with an optic blast.

Alarms sounded in the institute, causing immediate action from the remaining X-Men. They scrambled to their respective lockers and quickly pulled on their uniforms, then ran, flew, or teleported to the Blackbird, ready for the fight to come.

Shogun was being pounded by optic blast after optic blast. Cyclops, ever the field general, was shouting orders to his new team as he prevented the young X-Man from using his powers to fight back.
Needle, a mutant whose hand had poisoned, needle like fingers, was at the wreckage of the car, trying to get at the still unconscious Sledgehammer. Just as she was reaching through the broken window, Cyclops yelled, “Needle! Quickly, I have him down! Try to stick him!”
Needle looked at the trapped Shogun and was starting to do as her commander ordered when she and the door went flying off of the car with a CHOOM! Sledgehammer, now awake had kicked the door off of the car. The door and Needle flew into a tree, snapping it in half, and then into the ground unconscious, possibly dead.
“Shit!” Cyclops said, momentarily taking his attention away from shogun. That was all he needed. Sabertooth was about to pounce on Shogun, when a wave of concussive spikes flew through the air. The spikes exploded on contact with trees, the street or in midair. Sabertooth was thrown back into another tree by a spike that exploded in front of him. He ripped through the tree and landed hard on the ground. Sabertooth shook his head and growled as he began to push the pieces of the tree trunk off of him.

Sledgehammer and Vought were fighting a brutal duel. The older woman had an advantage in speed and fighting experience, but the younger had the greater power and stamina. Vought kicked out at Sledgehammer and caught her in the stomach, doubling the girl over. Vought went to strike again hitting Sledgehammer in the jaw. Sledgehammer fought back, connecting with a weak backhand to the chest, lifting Vought off of the ground. She came down hard dropping to a knee. Vought looked up in time to barely block a punch to the face. Vought shot backwards, sliding on the concrete coming to a stop on her back, struggling to get up.
Sledgehammer, still trying to get her breath back from the punch to the stomach, walked towards Vought intending to take the woman out of the fight for good when a large hand came out of nowhere smashed into her face. Sledgehammer flew back into the car and hit the ground unconscious. Blob laughed as Vought slowly got to her feet.
“Nice bit o’ work chap,” Toad said to Blob from the huge mans shoulder.
“Haha, the girly didn’t hear me coming, she must be stupid or deaf. I am the Blob after all,” he said.
Vought looked at the girl and with a vicious look said, “Shut up you fat idiot. Pick her up and take her to the ship. This battle is almost over and the X-Men are on their way I’m sure.” Blob nodded and picked up the young woman. The three headed back to their ship.

Cyclops and Shogun were fighting all across the country road. The asphalt itself was beginning to come apart in chunks and soften from the heat of optic blasts, fire, and concussive energies. Cyclops heard Vought’s report of the capture of Sledgehammer as well as Exodus’s report of the X-Jet heading toward the battleground. Cyclops knew that his team was, in its current condition with three members down, and one a walking wounded, they could not even put up a good fight.
“All members pull back to the ship. Get Avalanche, Needle, and Sankya out of here. I’ll keep this bastard busy until you do!” Cyclops ordered.
Shogun, unable to get close enough to use his swords on Cyclops was getting frustrated. He yelled “I don’t think so you son of a bitch! I will make you pay for what you have done!” Shogun let lose a wave of spikes that exploded around Cyclops who dove out of the way blasting spikes out of the air. He missed one spike that exploded next to his mechanical arm. The wires and hydraulics in it were torn apart and it became useless.
Shogun leapt at the fallen Cyclops when a large piece of tree slammed into him. Shogun fell to the ground with the tree trunk stuck to him, impaled on the reformed spikes of his body.
Sabertooth picked up Cyclops and said, “You owe me one squinty.” Cyclops looked at him and said, “Not on your life.” They turned and ran towards the ship, Cyclops saying, “Now we’ll see how his girlfriend likes losing an arm…among other things.”

Shogun reabsorbed the spikes that were impaled in the trunk, allowing his body to slice through the wood freeing himself as the ship carrying Sledgehammer flew away. “NOO!!!” he screamed. Behind him the X-Jet landed the X-Men disgorging from it ready to face their enemy. Shogun, his body back to normal Turned and walked towards the jet and his team. “They have Harmony. They are going somewhere with her and will hurt her we have to get her back.”
“What happened Alexander?” Wolverine asked as the younger man reached him.
“I’ll tell you on the way. Now let’s go! Before they get away!” he yelled boarding the plane.
“You h the the man. Let’s go!” Wolverine ordered. The X-Men reboarded the jet and took off following their enemies.
