Stranger Than Fiction: The End

"Who what? Oh I am going to be sick ." Marie said before vomiting all over the panel infront of her.

* I realize this may be an awkward request but do you think you could do this outside of Cerebro?* The voice said sounding slightly amused.

"I...would..if..I could..move." Marie said between her vomiting.

* I must apologize i had forgotten how unsettling my presence in another's mind can be. Allow me to help. * The voice said

As soon as she heard these words spoken in her mind a great calm came over her. An almost euphoric feeling as her nausea gave way. She sighed and cleaned her mouth then slowly stood from the chair and removed the helmet. As she walked away she saw the mess she had made.

"Oh Forge is going to kill me for this." Marie said as one of the panels sparked and shorted out.

* I will explain everything to our friend. Now I am sure you have many questions but for the moment please return to the transporter room...... Are you always this cold? * Xavier's voice asked.

"I think it's this outfit my ti..my body is kind of exposed." Marie said looking down to her uniform.

*Ah Yes... That would explain the cold drafty feeling on my..your chest. Also you do not need to speak out loud to answer me just think in responce.* Xavier said

"OK.." * I mean ok*

Marie Quickly walked back to The room where she left Forge while Xavier explained how he had found himself inside her mind.

* It's quite simple really. While connected to Cerebro my powers are heightened drastically. I simply placed my mind on the astral plane and awaited for someone to come along and access Cerebro. Your gift relies partially on some form of telekinesis therefore I was able to suggest to you on a small scale to access Cerebro. I assure you I will not share this mind with you forever just until I find a more fitting and willing host. * Xavier said.

"Uh...OK... Hey Forge I need to talk to you right now!" Marie said entering the room.

"What is it I am busy." Forge said popping his head out of the crate. As he started to climb out of the top

"We need to talk old friend." Xavier said speaking through Marie.

Forge looked shocked then fell of the top of the crate.

"You can mimic voices to?!" Forge said jumping back up

"No, our young friend cannot however I can inhabit a mind if I am needed to. It's me Xavier...it would seem you are not the only one that cheated death.......damn it stop doing that....Sorry I will ask for your permission next time...You damn well better that's just plain rude taking me over like that..Please refrain from using such language...Sorry." Xavier and Marie said to each other confusing Forge even more.

"Jesus Stop doing that before I short something... Wait Professor your alive?!" Forge said finally realizing what he was seeing.

*May I? * Xavier asked

"Yeah go ahead....... More or less my astral form survived the attack from The horsemen...However it would seem none of the others fared so well.....Please tell me everything that happened ." Xaiver asked

"Of course Where do you want em to start?" Forge asked

"I need to know everything that took place from the moment of my body's demise."

"Yes, Professor....

So Forge told of what happened after Xavier was killed by the horsemen of death. How Rogue died shortly before Logan returned in time to allow her to drain him. Logan and Ororo had been at S. H. E. I. L. D. headquarters trying to get the help of the organization in their fight with Apocalypse when he had gotten the distress call.

"Where the hell is everyone? HEY CHUCK YOU THERE?! Oh Hank ...what the hell is wrong with you? Where is everyone?" Logan said busting into the mansion

"I'm sorry........" Hank said walking out from the stairway his clothes covered in blood.

"What the hell you mean your sorry? Where is everyone? Why the hell ain't Chuck answering me? I am just about to talk Nick into helping and my damn com-link goes crazy."

"I am sorry Logan...we lost them....I tried all that I could but they were to far gone.. I... I.. " Beast said walking to the door His normal cheerful manor broken the fur on his face matted with dried blood and tears. His words breaking away to another silent outbreak of tears as his large catlike frame slumped on the staircase.

Logan just stood there in silence. A low heavy sigh escaping his lungs.

"What happened?...Dammit Hank what the fuck happened?!" Logan asked His face slowly turning read his claws springing forth in an instinctive act of intimidation.

"I don't Know what Happened... Orlock's team arrived first. By the time I got there the whole area looked like a nuke had went off. There was craters and blood everywhere. From what I was able to learn from Rogue before she .she..passed He was waiting for us with his horsemen. Orlock was the last one standing and was just about to stop Apocalypse when He was killed as well. We barely had enough time to get everyone out of their before they attacked again. We returned here But one of the horsemen snuck in behind us..it was to late for us to notice he broke into Cerebro and ...Charles is dead."Hank said now sobbing.

"............................" Logan couldn't think at all now he was doing everything he could to keep from slashing anything in sight.

"Logan?" Ororo Said walking in behind him.

".........dead......all of em." Logan said before walking off

"What?......No......" Ororo said dropping to her knees and crying when she saw Hank on the stairway. A loud crack of thunder and strong rains following the weather witch's tears.

"Where is it?" Logan asked stopping in his tracks.

"W..WHo?" Hank's asked.

"The son of a bitch that killed Chuck..Where is it?"

"Some of the students barricaded the door to Cerebro trapping him there...Logan I don't think you want to."

"Shut the fuck up Hank." Logan said walking to the elevator leading to the lower levels.

Logan was walking with a purpose. As he entered the elevator the sent of burned flesh blood and the faint scent of decay mixed with the scent of people he had known since they weren't even old enough to drive enveloped him. And in that small little box Logan did something he hadn't done in almost a fifty years. He cried...

As the elevator stopped he did his best to compose himself. His steps outside of the small box slow and Heavy as he slowly walked closer and closer to the room where the scent was coming from. He reached out and grabbed the handle of the door paused and took a deep breath before opening the door.

"Never thought I would outlive you kids...." Logan said his voice cracking as he entered the room.

The light flickered for a moment then flooded the room with a white light. He walked to the first bed and removed the sheet. And there she lay. The cute little brown haired girl that always called him Mister Logan. The one that nearly gave him a heartattack when he tried to teach her how to drive. There she lay. No longer was she going to sit and gossip with Storm about her husband Kurt. No longer was she going to come walking in and complaining about the cop that gave her a ticket being a jerk..but kinda cute too. Logan got to his knees beside the bed and caressed her still warm cheek.

"I'm Sorry Half pint..... I promise I'll get them for you..even if it kills me I'll kill every last one of them. Mister Logan gives his word....." Logan raised up and kissed her on the cheek then returned the sheet.

He walked to the next bed beside her and pulled the sheet aside. The sickening cold feeling in his gut growing stronger every passing moment. As he looked at the man laying down infront of him. The fine blue fur on his face charred and matted like a sick or dying animal. No longer would he come bamfing in on Logan and ask if he wanted to go to the local pub. He had started going to the Local bars with Logan once he was old enough. And to Logan's surprise could hold as much alcohol as he himself could. He noticed that beside His bed lay his sword broken covered in blood Logan knew was Apocalypse's. Logan himself had taught the young man how to fight with a sword and Apocalypses blood on the blade proved his teachings had paid off greatly.

"Always knew you would go out with a Bang Elf...." Logan said before returning the sheet.

He Walked to the next bed and swallowed the growing lump in his throat. He pulled back the sheet to reveal a pale skinned young woman. Her ever present makeup smeared with tears. Her body smelling of blood and charred flesh. Logan placed a gentle hand on her forehead and brushed the white strands of hair from her face. He realized this was the first time he had ever really been able to feel the touch of her skin. It was slightly cold and soft to the touch. He remember how much the young woman laying there had changed in the passing years. How she had grown from a bitter loner to one of the sweetest and caring people he had ever known A small tear fell from his cheek as he let out another sigh. He fell to his knees and let the tears flow. There he sat surrounded by the people he had once sworn to protect with his life. The only one alive in a room of the fallen.

"Oh god I am sorry Rogue. Please forgive me I thought they... you were ready.....Why am I always left behind? Why must everyone I love die around me....." Logan said crying

Then he noticed it. A scent he knew all to well. Logan jumped to his feet and took in a deep breath through his nose. Filtering out every other scent int he room but one. One that didn't fit. One that shouldn't even be there. He placed the sheet back over the woman's face and left the room. His instinctive nature taking over. He turned and ran to the hallway that lead to Cerebro. The sound of someone trying to break free. it sounded like a caged lion ripping at its cage.

"It can't be...." Logan said as he reached the door to Cerebro. A large crate covering its doorway the panel to open the door smashed. The sounds of someone trying to break through coming from the other side.

"Let me out. I swear I'll make it quick you won't feel a thing when I rip out your fucking guts !!! OPEN THIS GOD DAMN DOOR HE'S STARTING TO SMELL ALREADY!!!...OH WAIT I KNOW THAT SMELL! SOMEONE I KNOW IS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THIS DOOR! LET ME OUT JAMES LET'S PLAY A GAME! COME ON YOU FUCKING RUNT OPEN THE DOOR! MY MASTER WANTS YOUR HEAD ON A FUCKING PIKE AND I AIM TO PLEASE WHEN KILLINGS INVOLVED .............OPEN THIS GOD DAMN DOOR YOU FUCKING PUSSY!!! OH WHAT?! YOU DONE TURNED SOFT?! OPEN THIS GOD DAMN DOOR SO I CAN KILL YOU JUST LIKE I KILLED THAT LIL BROWN HAIRED CUNT! .. What was her name again? Oh yeah PUSSY!!..no no that's not right...KITTY YEAH THAT'S MUST BE IT! THAT'S WHAT THAT BLUE LITTLE BASTARD YELLED WHEN I GUTTED THE LIL BITCH! OH YOU SHOULD HAVE HEARD HER WHEN I CUT INTO HER JAMES. JUST LIKE ROSE WHEN YOU GUTTED HER ON YOUR CLAWS PURE HEAVEN TO MY EARS!!!" The voice said taunting Logan from the other side of the door.

Logan had no idea how he moved the crate out of the way of the door but the next thing he knew he was slicing through the doors to Cerebro and was facing someone that should have been dead and gone years ago.

"Ohhh now you wanna play do ya short stuff?" The man said as the doors fell reveling Logan

"Creed..." Logan said not so much out of shock but at a loss of words

"Creed's dead and buried runt has been for some time I'm all that's left. I'm death..and I come to stake an old claim of mine. You been running from me far to long shorty. Now it's time you and me had a fight to the finish." Sabertooth said before launching himself at Logan.

The two old enemies ripped and tore into each other like to wild beasts fighting over a kill. But they still fought neither one gaining the upper hand thanks to their mutant abilities. Logan was the first to strike a crippling blow impaling one set of claws In Sabertooth's right lung the other in his groin.

"You're gonna Pay for what you did to Kit you son of a bitch!" Logan said as he began to recoil and release his claws into Sabertooth's flesh giving it just enough time to heal slightly before ripping into the same point again and again.

Sabertooth growled loudly then threw Logan across the room. His body smashing into the far wall of Cerebro then falling to the bottom of the sphere shaped room. Sabertooth jumped down landing on his feet and slowly walked towards Logan as he started to get to his feet.

"You can't Kill me James you never had the balls." Sabertooth said spitting out the blood from his healing lungs.

"Oh I had the balls you just never pissed me off enough to kill your sorry ass Creed. But what you did to Chuck..to Kit.. I can't forgive you. One of us ain't walking out of this room and I'll be damned if it's me." Logan said standing to his feet and cracking his neck.

"Big words for such a lil fella. Come on mini me let's see what ya got." Sabertooth said licking Logan's blood from his talons.

Logan growled and charged towards Sabertooth His arms shooting forward striking Sabertooth in the chest just at the same moment as his claws sprung forth. They Both hit the ground as Logan's claws ripping through Sabertooth's back and into the ground below them. Logan removed One set of claws from His foes chest and planted it into his stomach repeatedly twisting his wrist each time his claws sprung forth and ripped through him. Sabertooth was growling in pain ripping at Logan with all he had. Slicing Logan's left eye and cutting off his left nostril. Logan's blood pouring out like a fountain as Sabertooth ripped his face to pieces. Each wound opening just as another began to close

"Hurt me all you want Bub I ain't getting off you till I hear your last fucking breath." Logan said in such a calm manner it sent chills down Sabertooth's spine.

" You...can't "gasp" kill me ..." Sabertooth said coughing up blood before wrapping his large hand around Logan's throat and squeezing for all he was worth crushing Logan's windpipe.

Logan made a gurgling noise then fell to Sabertooth's side holding his throat and trying desperately to get air into his lungs But Sabertooth wouldn't break his hold. Sabertooth jumped up and kicked Logan in the ribs wincing as he felt his leg strike the unbreakable metal of his ribcage then returned his hand to Logan's throat squeezing for all he was worth.

"We may be bad motherfucker's James but we still need to breathe." Sabertooth Said smiling ear to ear his bloodstained teeth glinting faintly in the light of the room.

Logan's lips were starting to turn blue and his eyes rolled back in his head. Then his body jerked and before Sabertooth could react Logan had contorted his body and had his legs wrapped around Sabertooth's neck while he had Sabertooth's arm in a vice like grip with his hands. He began to stretch out his body tightening his grip on Sabertooth's throat at the same time as he was hyper extending his elbow and shoulder. Logan jerked his body again causing Sabertooth to fall down on his chest. Logan Lifted his arms and smiled when he heard Sabertooth's elbow and shoulder pop. The bone shattering crack echoing in the room.

"How does it feel Dog? Did I hurt you yet?" Logan said twisting the broken bones even more as he felt them struggling to repair themselves.

Sabertooth opened his mouth to speak or growl but nothing came out. Logan had his legs clamped down to tightly for him to breath. The Adamantium of his bones making his legs feel like two steel bars crushing down on Creed's neck. Creed was clawing at the floor with his free hand. Ripping out two of his talons as he tried to get enough leverage to Lift himself.

"Struggle all you want only makes it easier." Logan said in the same calm manner as before.

Sabertooth smiled and mouthed the words "you win ." Logan looked at him strangely then Sabertooth jerked violently the bone shattering crack filled the room as He broke his own neck against Logan's grip. Sabertooth's body jerked more as his eyes rolled back into his head and blood came pouring out of his mouth. Logan was still holding on until Sabertooth's body stopped moving. Then he released his hold. Sabertooth's neck was bent at an odd angle. The shattered vertebra was pushed against the flesh of his throat giving the side of his neck a swollen appearance.

Logan didn't say a word. His expression was blank as he looked at his fallen mortal enemy. Why Sabertooth had done what he did He could easily guess. He thought maybe he didn't want to give him the satisfaction of killing him so he broke his own neck. Logan kicked Sabertooth over on his back. The strange collar he had noticed stopped glowing and fell form Sabertooth's neck as did the strange implants all over his skin. Logan Kicked the collar away from Sabertooth and then walked over to it and picked it up sliding it into his back pocket as he reached the wall beside the entrance to Cerebro. He released his claws and jammed them into the wall using them to climb up to the top of the room and jumping off onto the catwalk. He looked to The control panel in the room and saw Xavier's slumped form in the chair. The helmet still on his head.

Logan sighed and walked over to his fallen friend and removed the helmet from his head. Then he pulled him back into a sitting position in the chair reveling Xavier's torn out throat form what Logan could tell was done from behind. He turned the chair to face him then Picked up Xaiver Body and walked out of the room with it over his shoulder. Logan was at the door of the room were the other's had been placed when he was knocked tot he ground the gut wrenching pain filling his body ad something tore through his lower back. Logan hit the ground and howled in pain. he felt something heavy stretch out on top of him and felt hot breath on his neck.

"I told you couldn't kill me short stuff." The voice said sounding sore and raspy

"No way you could survived that even with your healing." Logan said through the pain as Sabertooth removed his talons from Logan's lower back. Only to grab a hand full of hair and start to beat Logan's head into the steel floor of the hallway.

"You see that's the thing. My boss did something to my body kicked me up a few notches. Course the others he made them nothing more than the walking dead. Couldn't with me though my mind rejected everything he did. SO he put that lil dog collar on me to keep me in line. Thanks for helping me get it off...What do you say we give my new powers a nice test run?" Sabertooth said as he repeatedly smashed Logan's face into the steel floor.

Sabertooth Picked Logan up and slammed him down hard into the ground denting the floor around them. Then picked Logan up with lighting fast speed and slung him into the wall beside them by the throat. As Soon as Logan connected Sabertooth kneed him hard in the groin.

"You shoulda known I was going easy on you runt. I could have easily gotten out of that little hold of yours but I needed a little help in getting that fucking collar off." Sabertooth said throwing a right hook at Logan's face slashing deep into his skin the Adamantium of his bones glinting in the light for just a moment before the wounds started to close.

Logan fell to his knees on the ground and spit out a mouth full of blood. Sabertooth went to Kick Logan in the ribs only to have his leg shredded in the blink of an eye from Logan's claws. Sabertooth roared in pain as Logan jumped to his feet using the momentum to impale his claws deep into Creed's gut.

"Shut up and die" Logan said jerking up with his claws at a blinding speed then pulling them back into his forearm.

Sabertooth stumbled as blood began to pour out of his mouth then it began to flow in three long gashes from his stomach up to his jaw. Sabertooth fell to the ground on his hands and knees his gurgling sounds slowly being replaced by a low snort them a slight laugh.

"Now that's what I am talking about." Sabertooth said launching himself at Logan again.

"God damn you die already!!!" Logan said as the two foes connected with each other.

Logan fell to the ground and kicked Sabertooth over himself using Sabertooth own momentum against him. Then he flipped over himself landing On Sabertooth's Chest and planting one set of claws into Sabertooth shoulder pinning him to the floor.

"What now? I told you can't kill me James." Sabertooth said smiling

"Anything that can bleed can die." Logan said before putting his free hand under Sabertooth's chin.

"Lights out Creed." Logan said in the same calm tone again

"You think this is going to ki.." Sabertooth said before Logan let his claws spring forth ripping through the bone and his brain.

Logan repeated this action four more times the last time the tip of his claws cut through the top of Sabertooth head. Logan removed his claws from Sabertooth's body. Then he slowly climbed to his feet and walked towards Xavier's body sprawled out next to the door of the fallen. Logan stopped for just a moment and popped his neck this spun around letting one claw spring forth as he brought his fist out in a backhand motion. The sound of one loud thump followed by a lesser one followed his actions.


"I win....." Logan said as Sabertooth's head rolled into his line of sight. Before falling to his knees.


"But I thought I killed Sabertooth earlier." Marie said cutting into Forge's story

"No, you killed one of my latest Android models." Forge replied

"Oh...wait how the hell do you know all this happened?" Marie asked just as Forge was about to start speaking again.

"I was already in this androids body and had tapped into security to monitor Sabertooth in Cerebro to make sure he didn't escape. I was also aware of everything else that happened inside the mansion outside of personal courtiers of course. There happy now? If you don't mind I would like to finish telling The Professor what happened." Forge said looking annoyed slightly.

"Sorry" Marie said

"Where was I? .... Oh yes"


"You couldn't find his body?" Ororo asked

"I didn't have time to look. Cable bought us enough time to escape while he held off the horsemen. I only had enough time to ask what had happened. He only said Orlock was dead and to only worry about the injured. Forge helped me get the others through the portal.... They were all gone except for Rogue.... I had hoped she would hang on long enough for Logan to get back but.... What are we going to do?" Hank asked his voice breaking.

"We are going to do what we swore to. We are going to fight to stop Apocalypse until we or he falls." Logan said walking out of the Elevator in his uniform.

Just as Logan came into view Alarms went off and the Mansion went into Lockdown Steel slamming down over the exits and all the windows.

"It looks like that may happen sooner than you wish Logan...Their here." Forge's voice echoed over the school's intercom system
