Chapter 11

Barnabus glared at Gambit as he continued watching football and ignoring him.
He stared mumbling something.
“Ya know he’s all ova Ro?”
Gambit looked at Logan. “Lik’y’ mon ami”
Logan growled at him. “He’s usin’ her.”
“Lik’y’ mon ami”
“Ya say tha’ again and ya’ll be pickin’ up yer teeth.”
Gambit chuckled. “Gambit dink Logan uptight y’ need ta relax.”
Logan looked at Barnabus you started mumbling louder.
“I think he’s gat to go.”
Gambit didn’t move from his chair.
Logan growled. “Didn’t ya hear me Cajun?”
Gambit faced him.
Barnabus started shaking. Logan and Gambit thought to solve their problem scientific with rock, paper, and scissor method.
Gambit chuckled as Logan cursed and began to untie Barnabus.
“I am going to report you two to law enforcement.”
Logan pushed him towards the bathroom.

What the hell was going on here? Jubilee thought as she watched the Xmen leader Cyclops hovering over the Weather Witch like she owed him money.
Where was Wolvie? Didn’t he know that Scott was moving in on his girl? Wow is he working out?
She moved closer to the window to watch Scott licking her neck and whispering things to her that usually preceded the loving.
He looked damn good with all that hair. Jubilee smiled as Ororo lay back in the grass and let Scott pin her to the ground.
Damn. He must be good.

Xavier looked out of his second floor window to see two of his favorite X-men talking in a very intimate position.
He could feel the rampant emotions from Ororo. She was fearful and excited at the possibility of being with Scott.
Scott made mixed emotions. He wanted her that was clear but the reasons why were causing the war inside him.

Scott kissed her hard and groaned. He could take her now and Logan would know that he had lost her to him.
He heard her moan.
This was his best friend. She would always fight ay his side always protect him and now he was going to use her to get revenge on Jean and Logan.
Scott trailed his kisses to her neck.
They deserve to feel the pain they inflicted on him.
But did Ororo deserve to be used for his revenge she was his best friend. He loved her.
Jubilee watched them as they broke from their intimate embrace and headed towards the mansion.
They sure were a good looking couple. What the hell was wrong with her? Miss Monroe was Wolvie’s girl and she was going to help him get her even if he wanted her to or not.

Xavier smiled as Scott squeezed Ororo in his arms. He felt the love pouring from Scott. His inner demons were in agreement on that. He just hoped that when Jean and Logan returned that those demons didn’t take control of Scott. He hoped that Logan and Jean would let Scott sort out his feelings and not try to convince him that he was only using Ororo; because from where he was standing Cyclops was in love with Storm.

“Are you boys having women trouble or something because you keep talking about Ro?”
Gambit looked at their tied up guests. “Gambit neva ha’ trouble but Logan he be havin’ lots”
Logan smiled. “I’ll remember tha’ when Ro’s in my bed Cajun.”
Gambit chuckled. “Stormy would neva be wit you Logan.”
Barnabus chuckled. “It seems she isn’t with either one of you.”
Gambit and Logan looked at him.
“She’s with that Scott fella you two keep crying about. That probably is a good thing because it will be hard to start a relationship when you are in jail.”
Gambit replaced the gag in his mouth.
“We should work together.”
Gambit looked at Logan. “Gambit don’ trust Y’ and I don’ need yo help.”
Logan smiled. “Fine Cajun jus stay out of my way or else” The claws slid out.
Gambit charged a card. “Lik’ wise Wolverine.”

Ororo smiled at Scott sitting across from her at the table. “What are you thinking about?”
Scott looked over at her cerulean eyes. “I am thinking of you and me together.”
Ororo smile widened. “And Jean and Logan And Gambit and…”
Scott began to laugh. “No just you.”
He reached across the table and took her hand. “Ororo I don’t want to do anything to ruin our friendship.”
“Then don’t Scott.” She squeezed his hand.
Scott leaned across the table and kissed her.
Jubilee walked onto the kitchen. “What is going on here?”
Scott slowly pulled away from Ororo. “What does it look like I’m kissing the most beautiful woman ever.”
Jubilee smiled and approached the table. “Ya know Logan says that all the time.”
Scott looked at Jubilee. “Are you here to keep his name fresh?”
Jubilee looked surprised. “No I just thought Miss Monroe should know that.”
Ororo smiled at Scott’s frown.
“Want to go to the mall with me I can’t get Rogue or Kitty to go?”
Scott raised an eyebrow. They all lived in the mall.
Ororo looked at Jubilee. “Really “
Jubilee smiled. “Come on just you and me.”
Scott smiled. I’ll come along to keep my Goddess and Half Pint.”
Ororo smiled at him. Jubilee frowned.

The mall was wall to wall people and full of sales. Jubilee was in her element.
“I’m going to the music store.” She ran away from them.
Ororo looked back to see Scott looking at the Victoria Secret store.
“No”
“I’ll go alone I remember the sizes.” He pulled her to him for a hard kiss.
Ororo looked dazed when he pulled away. “Maybe we’ll sample it tonight”
She looked up at him and he walked away.
Jubilee watched them. Miss Monroe sure didn’t dislike him she was clinging to him as if she were falling. Scott sure did look good in the tight dark blue shirt and jeans. Jubilee smiled as he walked into Victoria Secret. He was planning something for them tonight.
Ororo smiled at her as she approached the Music store. “I thought you were looking for music.”
Jubilee looked up at her. “I am” She went to the rack and began looking.
“Hey what’s your name?”
Ororo looked up into a pair of green eyes that were rather close to hers. She took a step back.
“Excuse me” She said walking toward Jubilee.
The shop keeper frowned at the annoying man several of his customers had complained about him.
He followed Ororo to Jubilee.
“Not going to tell me your name?”
“Buzz off creep “ Jubilee frowned at him.
“Not talking to you shrimp I’m talking to gorgeous one.”
Ororo frowned at the man. “Well I don’t wish to talk to you.”
“Hey leave the lady alone.” The store keeper yelled from the other aisle.
The man ignored him and reached out to touch Ororo’s hair.
His hand was suddenly pulled violently behind his back and his face slammed down into the CD’s.
Scott looked over at Ororo and Jubilee who wore stunned expressions.
“You two okay?”
Jubilee smiled at him. “Yeah”
Scott looked down at the man. “I think you owe them an apology.”
The man cringed with the pain of his arm being pushed further up his back. “I’m sorry.”
Ororo smiled at Scott.
“Now I think the store keeper wants you to leave and I suggest that you do alright.”
He nodded. Scott let him rise and he walked out holding his arm in pain.
Those in the Music store applauded.

Jubilee just stared up at him as they walked out of the mall and towards the car.
“That was amazing. I didn’t think anyone could do that but Logan and Gambit.”
Scott tightened his grip on Ororo. “You need to look past those two.”
Jubilee smiled and walked closer to Scott. “Let’s have lunch.”

“Jubilee is not here Logan”
The voice on the other end of the call sounded gruff.
“She went to the mall with Scott and Ororo.”
Logan was silent for a while.
“Thanks Chuck.”
He hung up his phone.
Now he was trying to get his Half Pint. What the hell was Jubilee doing with them? Maybe she was keeping an eye on them for him.
Logan smiled. He could always count of her to throw a wrench into the works.
