This story chilled me to the core after speeding through chapter after chapter of what too harshly resembled my life.
I know that's a strange thing to say. I don't expect anyone to understand. I stopped expecting understanding when someone whom I believed to be a friend... Who may still be one... Subjugated me much like your heroine, only there was a great deal less magic and virginity involved and a good deal more fear and revictimization. I now fear that my marriage to this person was made for me to cover my shame and protect my child... Now children... And am heartsick as parallel after parallel is ticked off as I read your story.
This may be the first time I have been truly self-aware in years.
Thank you... The roiling in my gut and the blindness I have adapted to it have once again revealed themselves. I hope I can do the right thing this time.

I have to tell you this is absolutely the best Loki fan fic I have ever read. I read the whole thing right thru. I am so amazed at how you write. I don't know how you do it, but without being overly graphic, you have created a story so much hotter than any other much more graphic fan fic ive read or written. Maybe its the deep longing you have given Loki to be loved, how tender he can be, those moments seriously make me light headed its so beautiful and sensual and sexual. I just love, love, love it. I find the story to be a good balance of nice Loki and bad Loki. of course he cant just be nice Loki suddenly. He needs to learn how to control himself. The "rape" made me wince and sad. But I felt it was integral to the story, to show how brutal Loki could be unfortunately. I like that he is learning to be a better Asgardian man with his love for Shaylee. I like reading about their trials and tribulations. And now I am so sad, Ive reached the end of where you have written. I shall wait patiently until you find inspiration to continue. Thank you for such a lovely, delicious fic!!!!

I love your story. I love Shay. And I usually love Loki, but the man goes about everything in the worst ways. He has his moments, but I mostly hope he'll see in some type of new light towards his "property".

absolutely amazing! i could not stop reading! i hope even though she is married to him now she will keep her fighting spirit. the moments of defiance always turn out to be my favorite. thank you for writing this its wonderful.
