I love how well thought-out Clint's invasion of Loki's cell is. Competence is one of the things I seriously appreciate and, as you write "an assassin who couldn’t get to his target when he needed to wasn’t a very good assassin."...so yeah, better be competent if he's working for SHIELD!

The one phrase that conveyed a deep-seated sense of UH-OH was "...there was no buffer between him and his Hawk’s rage." and I found it hot as hell, that, especially considering the circumstances, Loki still thinks of Hawkeye as "his".

It's not unusual that a post-battle adrenaline high leads to sex (of the consensual of the non-consensual kind) and Clint's stake in this is higher than that of most.

I adore how much like fighting the whole thing is, with Hawkeye moving more like the assassin he is, bringing Loki down, rather than acting like any kind of lover. It gives the whole thing a primal, aggressive note that sends shivers down my back.

It figures that Loki is not easily intimidated and beside the hatred, one cannot help but feels the sparks of attraction that fly between those two. Also, nice touch to mention that Clint's pretty beat up too...considering the fall through that window during the battle, I wouldn't have expected any less, so kudos for keeping it realistic.

When Loki suddenly starts to "show throat" so to speak, and it utterly rattles Clint, I couldn't help but think of how, during "Thor" Loki was similarly rattled and out of sorts when Thor expressed his desire to protect the Frost Gíants.

(Note: that's just me, but it always throws me for a loop if there's no lube involved, even if it's just a short mention)

Loki fucking himself on Clin't fingers was very, very hot.

The way they not only fuck each other with their bodies, but also with their eyes, all that hate and anger and want rolled into one glorious package...it definitely made my knees go weak.

When Barton told Loki that after this, he'd be utterly indifferent towards the God, damn, that sent a stab through my heart...and boy, do I hope that Clint won't be able to make good on that.

Good story, I like it that Loki just seems to decide he is not going to be forced, he is going to enjoy it. And I liked the line about Barton feeling less like a monster.
