NOOOOOO!!!! I need more!

Loki is such a fangirl in this chapter. Swooning over Clint's prank? That is something that would get his attention, I suppose. And while there is something adorable in his imagined shared life with him, there is no denying that Loki's infatuation is more than a little disturbing on a rational level. While there is certainly a physical attraction and a desire to give him what he thinks Clint deserves, he still thinks of him as a mere possession, which he admits he would give up without a second thought if it ever came down to it. This kind of twisted logic is what makes Loki such a complex character; he doesn't MEAN to do bad, he just doesn't know any other way of thinking.

That being said, can I just say that the shower scene was damn hot? Because yes. Intangible sex wasn't really something I ever thought about until this chapter. Definitely giving you points for that one. I would say I feel bad for Loki here, but I think after all the stunts he's pulled, he deserves a little frustration. Also, that's what you get for spying!

Clint Barton taking in strays. Why am I not surprised?

I gotta say, I love the backwards story-telling. Not many people can pull it off, but it makes for an interesting read.

I also like how you're giving us little glimpses into the life of a character that seems to be dismissed or shoved into the background a lot of the time. A lot of people I know didn't even know who Hawkeye was until the movie came out, and they only knew him as 'that guy with the bow who got poked'. It's nice to see someone taking the time to flesh out his character a bit more.

Apparently, not only do I identify with the outcast villain, I also root for the underdog.

I love how multifaceted you're writing the characters. I've seen so many stories use the 'Oh-you're-hot-and-have-to-do-what-I-tell-you-let's-fuck' scenario. It's nice to see someone doing the characters justice.

I can't really say I envy Clint being the object of Loki's infatuation. Poor guy is just trying to do his job.

Hey, I'm really glad I found a fanfiction willing to explain that there is much more to Loki than what we see in the movie(s). He is a very interesting character, instead of "Thor 2" they should be shooting a movie called "Loki" . I am looking forward to reading more of this fanfic, especially if there is more about the relation between Loki and Hawkeye.

This chapter has so much emotion in it. I love how you've made this such a plausible scenario; because Loki's reasons were never made known, we are free to imagine it however we like. Unless, of course, the next few movies ruin our own little headcanons. But hey, that's why they call it fanFICTION.

I must admit, I am a little impatient to see how Clint is doing.

As for more fic, once all the chaos that usually surrounds me during the month of October begins to wind down, I plan to write as much as I can. Nice to know I have someone looking forward to it.

I've always thought Loki was a sympathetic villain. Must be a mutual outcast thing.

Also, I like how this chapter fleshes out the Jotun's culture more. I'm sure the entire race wasn't made up of huge, skulking brutes.

As for fangirling, after seeing both Thor and The Avengers, this is really the only pairing I came away with. It's nice to see someone doing it justice. I only hope my fic can stand beside this one.

This chapter is so on. I've had this theory running through my head from the first time I watched the movie; WHY is Loki trying to take over the world? And why did he fail so miserably? I think you're on the same track as I am.

Clint's introspection is very interesting here. I've seen so many stories where he's portrayed as stupid, or just simply unobservant. He's anything BUT unobservant, and he's not stupid in the least. This is a refreshing change of pace from all of that. He might not be as sharp as Natasha, but he's not far behind. I love how he's putting all of the pieces together, despite what he's gone through.

So much going on in this chapter. I can't think of anything worse than rape wherein the victim is made to somehow enjoy it. Loki reminds me of a child who thought it would be fun to break something, then feel bad in the process and try to make it better. Unfortunately, by trying to make it better, he makes it a thousand times worse.

Can't wait to see how things unfold.
