I was a huge fan of this show and think that you've captured the spirit of it for an adult context pretty perfectly.

I just finished rereading your story for what i think is the 5th time. ITS AMAZING! Please keep going! Having just finished re watching the first season of Spectacular Spiderman and being super disappointed in Ultimate Spiderman i truly look to this as a continuation of the series. Its that good. The only criticism i have is that its taking to long. But i guess good things come to those that wait.

So far I'm really enjoying this story. I too was disappointed with The Spectacular Spider Man getting canceled. It was a really good show with great Spider-Man banter, awesome action scenes that really capture how Web Head fights, and decent stories to go with it.
I've enjoyed the banter so far, both as Peter and as Spidy. The scenes between Peter and MJ have been great, almost surprisingly so. Defenitly want to see what happens next. One thing I want to see more of is Liz Allen, who was actually my favorite girl in the Spectacular series(I usually only like Peter/MJ). I hated it when Peter dumped her.
On to the next chapter!

Great chapter!
I liked the fights between Spider-Man and Scorpion, good job there. Is Gargan trapped in the suit like the comic books, or can it be removed?
Didn't expect MJ to find out Peter's secret so soon, this outa be interesting.
Liked the Liz scenes, from the part with her brother in prison to the scenes with her glaring at MJ. Man, can't wait to find out what happens next with her and Peter!

I can't tell you how much I really enjoyed this. You know and write the characters well, and the flow and grammar is all spectacular. I honestly want to thank you for continuing the Spectacular Spider-man cartoon. Best adaption ever, in my honest opinion. Incredibly sad it got replaced by "Ultimate Spider-man." *Shudder*
I absolutely Love (with a chapital L) Black cat. I hope she continues to have a large role in this series. The sexy 90s version of her was a delightful surprise. Can't wait to see what comes next. I'll be watching your updates very closely from now on. :)
Until next time!

Still hitting it solid there, man. I like your take on the Jack O'Lantern, having him be one of the Green Goblin's old stooges looking to make a name for himself now that the Goblin, Tombstone, and Silvermane are all out of the way. I also like how you showed Tombstone's exposure to have had unintended consequences like destroying his philanthropic work; even if the guy was a major crime boss, the fact that he was trying to keep kids out of crime was somewhat noble of him. All the same, it does also prove a sad point that even when you beat the major bad guys, it's not necessarily them who suffer so much as the most vulnerable of society, because nothing's really changed for them and things might even get worse now. I'm guessing we're going to be seeing your version of the Prowler in due time, which I'm looking forward to.
Also, I like how you developed Peter and Mary Jane's relationship. There is a very clear attraction between them, even as Peter is struggling with his feelings for the Black Cat, for Gwen, and for Liz, and you did the model photography scene very well, interlacing the erotic tension between him and Mary Jane with MJ's inner observations of him and her remaining feelings for Mark Allan. Ending the chapter with a glimpse of Mary Jane's problems at home with her asshole of a father and her doormat of a mother was a nice, if sad, touch.
Aside from those two, I'm also seeing trouble in paradise between Ned and Betty, since he seems so married to the job and all that, which can be the death of any relationship. Speaking of Bugle troubles, Peter finding out that Jameson hired that creep Gargan to track him down and see how he gets those pictures of Spider-Man is likely to increase tensions between them. If not for that exclusive contract with the Bugle, Peter could just start selling his photos to another paper to spite Jameson for that, but that tension's still going to be there for a long while, and I'm sensing the Scorpion won't be much longer in coming, either. Great work, and I'll be looking forward to more of this story.
