Lot's of Peter/Liz in this chapter, which is awesome for me! I really do like Liz in this chapter.
Tough stuff between Peter and MJ, though. Though in my opinion she and Aunt May took things a little too far in this chapter in regards to basically taking away all his freedoms. Isn't he almost out of high school and an adult? And I don't think Aunt May is treating Peter with a whole lot of personal respect I feel he's earned at this point. Still, at least her and MJ's reasons are understandable, and their hearts are in the right place.
Good work, can't wait for more!

Another good chapter, even if Peter was out of costume for most of it. It was a nice chapter for developing the supporting cast. May, Mary Jane, Anna, Liz, and even Debra a bit. The first appearance of the spider tracer. The transition MJ made this chapter from wanting Peter not get in danger to reluctantly covering for him was a big one. It was nice to see her worry about Peter, but understanding why he goes off to danger. I have no idea if you're going to do Peter/MJ in later seasons, but if you do it is good to start them off as friends and build it up their relationship slowly. Gwen and Peter will be messed up for a while. Both Peter and Gwen screwed up to be honest. It's not entirely Peter's fault nor can he be blamed for trying to move on. Of course considering his flings with Cat it's going to be interesting to see if he stays faithful to Liz.
I've always wondered this, maybe you can answer, but how much older was Ben from Richard? I've never figured this out. Is he only a few years ad Richard had Peter late in life or is it like a 12-15 years difference between the brothers?

Another one that went out of the park. Great job all around, and this may possibly be the best fic to continue the Spectacular universe that ever there was. Glad to see you still working on this and putting so much effort in. If I knew how to help you on your journey, I certainly would!

Hey I'm loving the story so far and am very excited for the Clone arc to begin. I am hoping that you will have Ben Reilly, Kaine, and even Jessica Drew be just a few of the clones. Also, is do you post on Fanfiction.net? I find it much easier to follow stories on that site instead of this one.

love your fic its hard finding and honestly good Spectacular Spider-Man continuation. Please keep writing its good to read something about Spider-Man that doesn't suck these days makes the sting of the cancellation and that dumbass Ultimate Spider-Man lesson.
I hope he ends up with MJ in your seasons and theirs no Mephisto around.

Thanks for getting us a fast chapter. I really appreciated that and know how hard it is to get chapters out as fast as you wish you could. The Spider Slayer was a good surprise. I was expecting Alistair or his father to appear from Tri-Corp to make it for some super villain, but having Vulture, Mason, and Mystrio worked. I liked you incorporated Tombs' magnetic flight technology with Mason's technology genius and Beck's showmanship made sense for you interpretation of Spider Slayer. It was a good explanation. I know Jameson and Spencer use the original Spider Slayer to try catch Pete, but glad you didn't go tat route, because it erase Jameson's lesson from Scorpion. Kingsley, Jason, and Ned together in one scene nice little homage to the Hobgoblin story arcs. Kingsley finally found Norman's Goblin equipment. I'm excited to see how the Hobgoblin story arc. Cameos from Brock and Kasady seem like foreshadowing of Venom and Carnage story in the future. I wouldn't be disappointed if Venom/Carnage showed up in season 4. A symboite storyline could used a break for a season, but that's ultimately your decision.
The famous Peter Parker luck strikes again. I feel bad for the guy. Aunt May thinks he takes pictures for a thrill, which is only going to worry her more. MJ coming to terms with the dangers he's in and upset of the hookups with Cat. Peter showing her pictures was not one of his better ideas. Harry seemed welling meaning and self-serving at the same time, which was good. It looks like he only wants to get Peter with either Liz or Mary Jane to keep him away from Gwen, but there seem some good intentions behind it as well. It's good to see Peter and Harry on good terms at the moment. Heaven knows it will probably only get worse in the future if Harry ever finds out the secret or if Gwen and Peter hookup. Liz, I feel horrible for her. I keep thinking she's going to be setup to get knocked down even harder by the mixed messages Peter is sending her and her own hopeful/misguided thoughts. It was another good chapter with juicy bits for the future. I can't wait for the next chapter and the surprise you talked about at the end of the chapter.

Great chapter. Feel sorry for Peter, seems like damn near everyone in this chapter (with the exception of Captain Stacy) is either pissed off at him, attempting to manipulate him, or just flat out trying to kill him. And Pete himself is clearly getting worn down by, well, everything. (Obviously he wasn't all there when he showed MJ the pictures of him with Black Cat)
The scenes with MJ and Liz were great. Especially the bit where MJ kicked her dad in the crotch. Go Red! Attack his weak points for massive damage!
One point I was a little fuzzy on: Is Harry intentionally trying to screw Peter over by sending Liz the flowers and stuff? Hope the situation actually works in Pete's favor, that'd be a nice change of pace.
Nice work on the fight scene this chapter, by the way. Very hectic and intense... also explosive.
I look forward to your future work!

You're really knocking these out, aren't you? Not that I'm complaining. Bit absentminded of Pete to just forget he'd photographed his tryst, but that'd still be plausible :) Good work!

I was happy when I saw you updated the story. DeWolff is a dirty cop who is working for Tombstone. I didn't see that one coming. It's one of those twists that makes you think just how much impact it has. Tombstone was untouchable before in SSM series. I wonder how much of that was due to DeWolff's aid. Someone close to a police captain probably helps you stay ahead of the cops. Although, I probably should have expected someone like the Big Man to have at least a dozen cops on the take from different precincts. I have to admit I didn't see fallout of Tombstone and Hammerhead playing out in the story at least not this season anyway. It serve as friendly reminder that Tomby is still out there and has some teeth left.
Don't worry about not trying to fit every character in your season 3 yet. It's important to remember that having all these characters while great can hinder your story if you loading a chapter with too many can weight your chapter down. You said you felt you neglected Doc Ock, but that's ok at this stage, because we had a lot of great Doc Ock stories in the actual series. If you can't think of a storyline for him that fits your season 3 it's ok to not have him in the season, because you have large variety of characters that it can carry on without Ock for a season. Little references or glimpses of him like you gave us in this chapter is enough to remind us he exist and will be used. Believe me people would much rather have Doc Ock or any villain return with a strong story over a forced story for the sake of having Ock in every season. This goes for every character.
The talk with George Stacy and having it spread out through out the chapter was once again perfect reproduction on what SSM did. Not only does it give us a good sense of what Peter is feeling, but also give us insight on his relationship with Captain Stacy. He's not just Peter's ally on the police force, but family almost since Peter and Gwen have been friends for so long. He's a anti-Norman. He is comforting and what's to help guide Peter in the right way, but unlike Norman there is no undertone of George trying to make Peter into his image. Chameleon is Calypso's brother in this series and they are going to Florida to make Connors' relapse into the Lizard to use against Spidey is my guess, but knowing you there is more to it then that. Spider-Cat dynamic continues to hold my interest. Her outburst of him webbing her up like some common thug surprised me. I thought Felicia still viewed this as a fling, but anger seemed to be directed at the fact he treated her as he does villains. Says she at least thinks their relationship is different or special at least. Peter is just a mess with all his thoughts on the ladies in his life coming out while he had sex with Cat. Another good chapter.

Third time's the charm for me trying to put up this review ;) The story feels good, better this time around than the last, like you had time to let it simmer some. Don't worry about trying to push out content for us, though I have missed your writing a lot. Hope to see this story go on for a long, long time.
