Welcome back, and using The Prodigy as inspiration for Curt and the Lizard? Clever idea. Speaking of, spent the entire Connors/Calypso threesome wondering when the trap was going to be sprung, and that was one fucking unsettling way to spring it, I'm not going to lie or sugarcoat. Homage to Todd McFarlane's first Spider-Man arc as writer and artist, "Torment," perhaps? In any case, I rather liked the cameo from "Roman," who we should all remember from the final scene of the final episode of the series you're continuing so brilliantly here. Also, big fan of littleblackduck, too; his/her blending of the Marvel and DC Universes is top-notch along with his/her characterization in addition to all the great sex scenes. Going back to the story, Connors disappearing to protect his family from the threat of the Lizard reminds me a lot of Bruce Banner disappearing to protect Betty Ross from the threat of people hunting the Hulk, and is just as saddening. Speaking of, will Liz start to put two and two together, and if so, how will she react?

Well, this chapter had a few spelling errors and issues with grammar, and the gobliny bits aren't all that interesting to me... buuuuut, everything else was top notch and on par with your other work, and Spectacular spidey in general. Great work, and I've been looking forward to this chapter for what seems like ages. Hope to see more!
