Thank you for taking the time to update. I did enjoy this chapter, in particular the introduction of Logan and Rogue. I know that writing them in character is hard (especially when you have to deal with accents), so I commend you for your efforts. If you could pick certain words for characters more carefully in the future, that would be awesome. (i.e. “I’ll never understand the fairer sex!! - you could replace women for the phrase 'fairer sex' for Logan's dialogue since he's a rough around the edges guy.) Regardless, great work!!!! Please update once more when you have the opportunity to do so. You have an interesting story concept, and I'm excited to see where it goes. :)

I have to say I do like Evo Mystique, it is an interesting interpretation of the character. It's good that she can turn into animals, I love the fact that the innocent cat sitting on Charles' lap is actually her, nobody would be able to tell either if she doesn't want them to. I can't help wondering if Mystique retains her advanced powers as seen in Ascension, as far as I know nobody has written anything about Mystique, and what she thought of being a horseman. But I digress, this is a good start and I'm looking forward to reading more, but I would say you need a little more action to get things going.

It was ok. I just wish you'd put Mystic's reaction a bit more into character (i.e. instead of her thinking 'how did he get so fit' putting something more along the lines of 'perhaps I should reassess Charles's physical assets). I know that fanficiton is OC due to the very nature of the thing, but I still think that her change in character is very unsubtle and doesn't quite 'sit right' when read if you know what I mean. Nevertheless, I am currently enjoying the story and the direction in which it's going. Please continue to update when you have the chance. (also this was not meant to be a flame, merely a critique :) Thank you for posting!
