Oh...Jean is now one huge step behind...Emma has Scott, but she's still stuck with that brainless Dunken.
I want to see everyone's reaction towards Scott and Emma's new relationship, especially Dunken's.

hey there just read up on the new chapter of the date night and so far it was really well done I liked Rogue there since I think you got her well done in that part, with the crush and all. A bit surprised she went to Jean but I guess to Rogue Jean would be better then Emma at least at that moment since she was pissed at Emma. You also put in a bit of how Emma can be a bit...bitchy at times but then again she's supposed to be given her upbringing so that fits well.
Although You seem to make Jean dating Duncan not as close as the series sure there wasn't as good as she was with Scott but in this its like she's forcing herself through agony to date Duncan and not liking it all sure that couple was my least fav in the show but they had to have a few good moments to stay together all that time didn't they? Well that's just my feeling on that. Anyway can't wait to see how the date ends.

Chapter 3
I must tell I'm quite impressed with the way your handle of the characterization improves at each fic you write. Sincerely, your fics read like if you were picking the characters EXACTLY how they were and bringing them to life.
While I read your fic, I was constantly thinking: "This is Rogue... this is Marvel Girl... this is Cyclops... this is the White Queen... and that's how they'd react in that situation.". Really, really good work.
Now, it was funny seeing Logan's thoughts on Emma. I think he's utterly right. She needs more physical training... and she can be trouble.
I'm not shocked Rogue tried talking Emma out of getting involved with Scott. I can perfectly understand her uneasiness. It's right the same thing Jean is feeling.
Emma handling the Professor's money? She's perfectly competent for performing that job. Nonetheless, I wonder if the Professor would entrust her that responsibility to her so soon. Does he already trust her so completely?
I had a field day when I saw Scott turning down Emma. Believe me. Maybe I wouldn't reject her offer, but that's me. I hope better from Cyclops. I want admiring him and respecting him.
Jean was also spot-on. She could be pissed off (and I can perfectly imagine Scott telling her about it. Who do you think he'd confide a secret with and seek advice from, else his best friend), but she always thinks from others before from herself.
I can tell Emma has issues. And I like how you've showed her reasons, deep down. She found in an unknown situation and reacted how her limited experience dictated she should.
(By the way, I wondered if she'd feel insulted or affronted cause Scott's rejection, but not. She felt confused and frightened. I like that)

Chapter 4
I know what I'm doing, she told. Yes, of course. It isn't like if she didn't go overboard earlier, right? :)
I see she's retaining some grade of bitchiness. I can brook that, since she has always been somewhat bitchy, at least (downright bitchy nowadays...).
IMO, Jean dated Duncan because she thought she couldn't have Scott (or she told herself her feelings were merely friendly), and then she went for a guy she believed he was nice, even if sometimes he was a jerk... and then she found out sometimes he was NOT a jerk.
Good talk between Jean and Rogue. I can understand Rogue got frustrated, but I also can understand because Jean refused getting in the way.
That was a nice date, even if this story is starting to look like a soap opera. I didn't imagine Emma wishing to taste fast food, but I guess she really needed change old habits.
Mm... I wonder what will be Duncan's reaction when he finds out like Scott Summers' new girlfriend is. I bet he'll have a fit.

Great chapter I liked Scott and Emma’s date and the way you said how they were feeling about each other. I liked the Ferris wheel scene the best and how Scott hesitated on agreeing to be Emma’s boyfriend. Can’t wait to see what happens when Scott and Emma arrive back at the institute. Hope you update quick keep up the good work on your other story as well B TW.

I really, really enjoy this story.
Scott being dense when it comes to girls is cute, and everyone but him is aware of this is actually kind of funny.

Nice you now I saw a lot of similarities to that scene with Emma/Vince from our Hellfire story in this but I can see why you would use that it works well after all and I liked how that Jean/Emma scene went with jean all pissed off at her at first I think that would be how she would react after all. I can't wait to see the date and how it goes and of course when Scott actually submits and gets to have Emma all the way that will be a moment that will give him a grin all day long.

Ah Emma Frost in the house and all the boys drooling lol. You know I kind of like how you did that moment right there when describing that moment she made her choice. You got a feeling of seeing what we knew happened to her in the comics when she said yes and then we see what happens when she chose to say no I really like that part for some reason. I liked the little Jean/Emma clash there for some reasons I kind of like it when those two don't get along, maybe because they are just polar opposites of each other. You know like Kitty and Rogue, so maybe a little more fighting here and there from clashing personalities would be nice if you can swing it after all no one gets along all the time right?
But still a very interesting start and I just know Emma has her eyes set on Scott and has a fwe ideas on how to properly thank him lol.

Chapter Two
I see you're using the background the last years have given to Emma. I don't know if I'm glad or not for it. Much of that revisionist backstory Marvel created seemed contrived. A try to rewrite the character's history, turning her into a heroine without removing her bitchy self -her donminat self, nowadays-. Before she was a bad person tried to redeem herself. Now she's a poor, luckless thing met the wrong people.
But let's forget about crappy comics now. It was funny seeing how it'd be if a young Emma arrived at the mansion and became part of the team. It was funny seeing how Jean and Emma seemed on the brink of pulling out their claws, finally settling for civility. It was funny seeing the effect the blonde got on the X-Men, and how her personality and Jean's clash.
Amusing enough, she can really understand what Jean went trhough when her powers went haywire. She's a telepath,a fter all.
