So I know you wrote this forever ago, practically a lifetime ago, but I wanted to leave you my feedback on this story, which I just finished reading for the third time total. I don't know why I didn't review before, so... sorry? Better late than never, right?
First, I love how you wrote both Scott and Rogue for this story. Both of them seemed pitch-perfect for how they act in the show. Further, their connection and chemistry felt very real, natural, and unforced, playing perfectly off the chemistry the two had in XME.
Second, I enjoyed how you handled their relationship's impact on the plotlines of the show. As you know from my stories, I try to take plotlines into account whenever possible when making changes to established canon, so the way you seamlessly weaved your fic into the progression of the first season's episodes was masterful. I thought that Mystique's discovery and the ensuing confrontation in the motel was a clever but plausible divergence from "Turn of the Rogue," where Rogue discovers Mystique's deceit on that cold mountain retreat or whatever.
Third, I thought your handling of the Jean-Scott dynamic was fairly smart. I know that those two are one of your OTP's across universes (mine as well), so I know it was tough for you to relegate that to the background. Other XME stories I've read that focus on Scott and Rogue tend to write Jean as some sort of overbearing, jealous bitch who'd sabotage their relationship at any opportunity to keep Scott for herself. You chose to make it a case of Jean having genuine feelings that she hadn't acknowledged yet - which she hadn't at that point in the show - and it was just that Rogue made her move first; seeing Scott and Rogue together triggered Jean's moment of recognition of her own feelings, but she decided to put those feelings aside and support her friend(s), even if it was painful for her. The situation, to me, felt like a realistic moment in the life of a teenager, and Jean's reaction spoke volumes about her character and your respect for her.
I have to disagree with part of our esteemed friend Daye's assessment, in that Rogue's ability to touch didn't seem (to me) to make her "instantly turn into a total slut." Admittedly, she immediately dropped her panties, in keeping with your tendency to make characters just jump into full-fledged sexual intimacy without going through the intermediate steps; most teenage couples, in my experience, spend a lot of time "fooling around" in their relationships before going all the way. But, to me, Rogue didn't turn into a slut: leaving aside the double-standard inherent in labeling any girl that way, she only had sex with one person, faithfully, throughout the story. That, to me, is the exact opposite of "slut."
On that note, I really enjoyed the sex scenes in this fic overall, since those scenes built off the well-written chemistry I noted above. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised that the scenes remained relatively vanilla overall (another point against "Rogue turned slutty" is that she wasn't apparently interested in anything kinky), compared to some of your other stories (even, say, "My Friend, My Lover"). Some of the scenes stretched on for too long, and it's hard for me to say if it's realistic or not for teenagers to go three or four rounds in one night; but it did make those scenes a tad repetitive, though it wasn't nearly as much a problem in this story as in others you've written.
Basically, what I'm trying to say is that I enjoyed the sex scenes in this story because it was character-driven; I've thoroughly enjoyed your other character-driven pieces (like the X-Men Supreme snippets, though some more than others) far more than your more PWP, kinky, orgiastic fuck-fest stories (like "Festival of X"). If I may be so blunt, I think that you waste your writing talent on those kinds of stories, because you have such an eye for writing the characters and making their interactions really dynamic and believable. I think it'd be really interesting if you decided to write fics like this one but that explored other characters' relationships as they grew (in Evo-verse or 616 or whatever) - like, for instance, Kitty/(any of the guys she's commonly paired w/ in XME fics) or Tabby/Kurt or Amanda/Kurt or Wanda/Kurt or Jubilee/(someone besides Wolverine) or Rahne/(someone).

Probably the best of your stories that I have read. Though that's probably because I think Rogue is a lot hotter than Jean. One minor drawback is the use of old 'rogue can touch, instantly turns into total slut' cliche. Considering this wasn't PWP it a little more annoying in this case.

Hey, loved this story. It was very well written and one of the best XME pairings ever (as opposed to the tried and true S/J pairing).
I would suggest since this story dealt with Scott & Rogue, particularly overcoming Rogue's power, you should do a sequel (doesn't have to be as long) with Rogue returning the favor so that Scott can go around without his glasses.

Very hot. I loved this story so much!!! The smut was hot, the action was intense, and the romance was sweet. Great job!!!!!!

I loved the chapter but found the last paragraph very cliche. It would have been better to have Momma return to find her daughter missing. How did she get into the room anyways, last I checked she couldn't phase through objects or teleport?

I don't know if you noticed, but after Rogue says scott is an amazing and wonderful man, Scott replies that Rogue is one too... I thought she was a she, not a he? Might want to fix that.

Nice new chapter and a very nice scene with Scott and Rogue although not sure if Scott could hold out that long on his first time then just came only once but still very nice and hot scene there and looking forward to more since now that they got a taste of things they sure would want to have more of that now and then. Can't wait to see how they sneak around and a few secret 'meetings' together the kind with leaving them breathing hard and messing clothing.

Sorry man I couldn't see any changes like you told me in this version then at ff.net so I'll just look this one up where there actually is a real change. Plus for some reason this keeps showing up kind of wierd on the computers I'm using you have to scroll to the right to read whats there for some reason. Could have sworn it was working well on my laptop too.
