Great and HOT story! I loved John's monologue it was so perfectly done, couldn't help feel bad for both of them in the end though. Have you eever considered doing a story about Bobby joining the Brotherhood? Anyway, great story!

Oooookay. So um, considering this is your first X-Men fic, I'm gonna give you a 3/5 for story, but 4/5 for effort! Yaaay. So overall it's 3.5/5. Go you.
Anyway, onto the specifics. I like the setting and plot. This scene was always one of those ones where you could tell so much was going unsaid in the movie. I'm glad to see it played out.
Writing mechanics and all that shit were good, I don't really pay attention to it much. If it's nice, I do notice. But I let the mistakes pass. What's most important, I think, with the X-Men are the characters. If you don't get the characters right, you've failed already. So, onto the characters.
John. Gosh, John. So sexy, so hot, so twisted, manipulative, angry, and bitter. I'm glad you made him the one to seduce Bobby. It's something he'd do. And he's so sure of himself, in not just what he wants, but also in what Bobby wants. Haha, waaay arrogant. I know that John is also a bit jealous of Bobby, his family, and his relationship with Rogue, and it's this jealousy that manifests in the rivalry they have in the third movie. I'm not sure if I caught that in your fic, but it's something I felt I should point out. Overall, I loved your John.
Bobby. There's a lot of issues between the characterizations of Bobby in the comics and in the movies. I'll refer to movieverse Bobby as Bobby and comicverse Bobby as Iceman. Bobby's very much like an everyman, and he tries to do good, tries to take charge, but in the end he's still unsure of himself. That really was noticeable in your fic in Bobby's reluctance to give in to his desires. He's also conflicted in his relationship with Rogue, but he still very much cares for her... you can see in the movie--he doesn't take his friendship with Kitty any further. And at the end, how he didn't want Rogue to take the cure. And in your fic too, just in his reluctance. I liked that. I wouldn't be like Bobby to just jump all over John. Now, Iceman is much older in the comics, but in many ways he's far more immature than Bobby. Iceman's the cynical underachiever who uses humor to shield his insecurities, which he has a lot of. And that's what I love about him, although Bobby is a great character too, but without Rogue and John in his life, he'd be kinda boring, in my opinion. Iceman can stand alone--but just my opinion.
Well, I loved John, but Bobby fell a little short. So that's why you get 3.5. Mhm. I guess some things to consider for your Bobby... umm, he harbors a little resentment for John, so their relationship is very love-hate. He didn't agree with what John did at the end of the second and throughout the third movie, even if they were great friends before. And especially with Rogue, Bobby would never do anything to hurt her. He looks out for her best interests, and sadly, there's a misunderstanding which eventually leads up to her taking the cure--which he objects to. I would love to see a fic set after the movie... which Rogue's powers gone and Bobby's reaction to that, as well as throwing John into the mix.
Anyway, yeah. That's my review. I hope it wasn't too convoluted or confusing. :D
