wow. I've been loving this story for a week now, but didn't want to get my hopes up that it would be continued. Yay!
I love how in character everyone is, and how Kurt and Logan havn't realy recovered from the last attack yet. The second kidnapping took me totaly by surprise, and when Logsn had ahold of Trask, I was begging him to not kill him, just scar him! now that Kurt's back, it's good to know that you'll deal with the issues reticaticaly, and unboringly! Strange how we're all attracted to elf-totrure, isnt it? XD

I believe the spelling for adamantium is just as you wrote it. I checked a few websites, but would you believe it, Marvel doesn't seem to have bios for the characters. The other sites I checked weren't supported by Marvel so the spelling could be wrong, but they were all spelled- adamantium. As for the whole Logan calling Kurt "Sweetheart" thing, I don't think it's out of character at all. Love does strange things. For instance, i knew this really tough dude who didn't seem like he would say that kind of thing either, but he always called his girlfriend "Sweets", although it does sound a bit odd coming from Logan.

I'm sorry to hear that your work is so tiring. *hugs* I do really appreciate the updatingness. I felt so bad for Nightcrawler. I honestly expected Logan to gut Trask in the last part there... Charles or any of them be damned. *wants Trask to DIE* Ah well. He gave Charles a headache... this is good... I hope.
Poor Nightcrawler. -_-;

Bloody brilliant story. When most people have stories this long, they usually end up going offboriboring tangents and are not able to keep the story together, but you on the other hand seem to know exactly what you're doing. I just caught a glimpse of the hits to this story and it amazes me how much the number grows everytime I check. You obviously have a gift for writing.

Am I the only one reading this right now? *tumbleweed goes by, crickets chirp* Ah well.
Yet another good two parts. I'm glad Scott didn't completely freak out when told what had happened between Kurt and Logan. I hope very much that Logan knows what he is doing and doesn't get his butt caught... which would be bad.
Also I admire the fact that Kurt isn't allowing himself to break. Sabertooth is a bastard, though I think that was already a given. Trask needs to die slowly and painfully, thought I hope it's quick so he has no chance of escaping. Um... yeah.
Hurry up and get Kurt back Logan! Then cuddle him for a bit and tell him what you need to say. -_-;

Okay, this is a second review to let you know that if this fic had me any closer to the edge of my seat, I would fall out of the chair, hit the table, and lose teeth.
This is fantastic stuff. I am checking this site *every* *day* now, just to see if you've added chapters. I have got to know what happens next, before I lose all my fingernails.
Again, fabulous work. Keep it going!

I'm still reading! This is anon#1, by the way, not to be confused with anon#2 - don't want to take credit for their posts! Really nice - I like your style, especially your attention to the various reactions of all the characters, which is hard to get right. I think the only extremely slight problems that I have are the fact that Logan keeps calling Kurt 'sweetheart' - I just really don't see that happening - and I wish you'd gone into a little bit more of Kurt sort of angsting over his relationship with Logan. This is the man who raped him, after all. I guess I would just expect him to have a little more trepidation about asicasical relationship after what he went through. But, minor quibbles, like I said. Great story! Hope you keep writing in this fandom!

Hahaha... you are right, that was like a car crash.
Kurt shoulda let Logan kill Trask. His heart got him captured again. -_-;
... is Kurt going to be too tramatized to even have sex again when this is over? O.o
Logan better be able to get him out of there... *bounces* Looking forwards to more. :)

Aww... Kurt is bitter. Hopefully Logan will get over his phobia of the l-word soon so the kid can stop being like that. I think you've done a marvolous job at keeping them in character, beyond most fics yours is expecially good. I understand how hard it is to do that what with the subject matter and all.
I still really like this fic. I think you might even cause a new favorite X-Men evolution pairing break out... watch, in 6 months there will be a bunch of clone Kurt X Logan fics... ;)
Um... lalala, looking forwards to more and all that! :)

Yay! I'm back and you've been busy. All those lovely chapters to read. Logan's reaction is so well done through this whole thing, it's just phenomenal. Now I see where you got the title. I just hope he comes to his senses soon...though the elf-torture in the mean-time could be fun. I must admit I'm running intermittently hot and cold on Kurt lately though. Sometimes he seems spot-on and sometimes he seems just a little bit...girly. I know he's only 18 and Logan's much older, more experienced and kind of intimidating...and he does stand up for himself well when the need arises, but all the weepiness and stuff.... I don't know, I just don't know any guys who are like that. Of course, I don't know any guys who've been through anything like you've put the poor li'l elf through. There were just a few spots - and now of course I can't remember them specifically b/c I read through the whole thing before reviewing - where he didn't quite ring true. He seems too hesitant and tentative, with none of the joker coming through. Like I said though, he *has* been through a lot, and that accounts for much of it I'm sure.
Anyway, can't wait for more. You have a great writing style and really bring scenes to life. Love the descriptions you give for setting - it's just enough to let me envision where they are but not so much I bog down or stop caring, and it's always vivid. I loved the bit with Kurt looking out at the fallen leaves and feeling like his heart was frozen. Very beautiful.
